Skin Replenishing Body Balm
SHEA BUTTER
(Butyrospermum parkii)
Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help improve the barrier function of the skin, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.
RICE BRAN OIL
(Oryza sativa bran oil)
Grown and harvested in Asia, we extract our rice bran oil from the germ and inner husk of rice. High in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it is a renowned for its moisturising properties in skincare.
BLACK OAT SEED EXTRACT
Sourced from Europe, the black oat is an upright plant with many flat leaf blades. Renowned for its unique water retaining properties, the seed extract forms a film of moisture on the skin’s surface, effectively improving hydration levels.

Fragrance far too strong
When I opened the jar I immediately knew that the fragrance was much too strong and medicinal for me and would overwhelm anyone who came near me while I was wearing it! Sadly, I returned it. I loved the lavender and vetiver body balm which sadly has been discontinued, a rich but not greasy consistency and a gentle fragrance. Please bring it back, Liz Earle!

Good texture but overwhelming scent
I've just started using this body balm. The texture is lovely, not greasy and absorbs well into dry skin. However, the scent, whilst pleasant, is overwhelming. This means I wouldn't use the cream in the morning when I'm also wearing perfume, as it would clash.

Great cream not a pleasant fragrance
I have always used the blue pot body moisturiser and absolutely love it,. I thought I’d like to try the new one. It soaks in nicely is non creasy and works very well for that I’d give it 5 stars. I really don’t like the fragrance, it reminds me of oily overalls. Luckily the smell disappears quite quickly which is a blessing. It’s probably because I’m so used to the fragrance of the other one. I will use it as it is fantastic for my skin but when this one is finished, I’ll go back to the blue pot.

Gorgeous balm
I have just treated myself to this body balm as I love the neroli moisturiser and so love this. It sinks into the skin leaving it moisturised but without feeling greasy and has a lovely delicate smell. I will definately buy again to alternate with the original balm.

Superskin for the body!
I've used Liz Earle Body Balm since it was first launched and haven't looked back. I use it every day and my skin feels totally nourished and smooth. One pot lasts for ages as a little goes a long way. I love Superskin with Neroli - this the body equivalent.

Gorgeous body cream
The neroli scent is so relaxing and calming, it smells like the superskin moisturiser which I also love. I hope this can be a permanent addition. I would love there to be a lavender version (just lavender not combined with anything else)

After having used the super skin face moisturiser with neroli and loved it I decided to try the body balm and also the cleanse and polish with neroli. Although they are lovely products I prefer the original ones.

I bought this expecting it to be a balm as it says on the jar . So a more solid consistency , resinous perhaps that warms and melts in your hands . Instead what I got was a pot of cream . Not even a thick buttery cream. As I understand balms do not contain water . On looking at the ingredients the first is water . Although it smells nice, the name of this product is disappointingly misleading.

Is this good for eczema patches ?
