KALAHARI MELON OIL
(Citrullus lanatus)
Featuring excellent emollient and nourishing properties, we source our Kalahari melon from the Kalahari Desert, where the pure oil is cold-pressed from the protein-rich dark brown seeds.
COCONUT OIL
(Coco nucifera)
Renowned for its moisturising and smoothing properties, we source our coconut oil from the Kenyan coast, where the unrefined, high-quality oil is cold-pressed from the flesh of a mixture of wild-harvested and plantation-grown coconuts using a sustainable direct micro expelling process, within an hour of the coconut being opened.
DAIKON RADISH SEED OIL
(Raphanus sativus)
This oil is used for its lightweight, non-greasy moisturising properties. We source our Daikon radish from the Willamette Valley, in Oregon, USA, where the nourishing oil is pressed from the rounded brown seeds of the radish pod.

Absolutely brilliant product.
I have been using this product for about 2 weeks. I apply 2 drops and smooth through my hair prior to blow drying.
Hair is super smooth with a fabulous shine.
No frizz.

Brilliant hair oil
I love this hair oil and have been using it for a long time now and wouldn't be without it. I am 76 and my hair is definitely benefiting from this product, my hair is much improved, a lot more manageable and quicker to dry and style. Would definitely recommend.

A light oil that smells delicious!
It’s the first time I have tried this oil and I’m delighted. The one I used previously was heavy and left my hair feeling greasy. This one is much lighter and has a wonderful fragrance. You only need a little - rub it between your plans and smooth it on. All your little ‘frizzies’ disappear and your hair takes on a beautiful healthy shine. Fully recommend trying it out.

There are unfortunately known issues with suppliers worldwide at this time, including transportation, which is having an impact on us sourcing a key ingredient for this haircare formula. In the meantime, you may wish to try our Botanical Shine Deep Conditioning Hair and Scalp Mask which also contains kalahari melon oil, not only will it make your hair smoother, stronger and healthier it will also nourish and hydrate your scalp and hair. Apply to clean damp clean hair, leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse out with warm water. Alternatively, if your hair and scalp need extra nourishment and for enhanced results, apply to clean, damp hair and leave on for 1 hour before rinsing. I have been using this wonderful hair oil for many years. I've been waiting for it to come back into stock for the last 2-3 months now, but still no sign of it. I'm beginning to worry that it's been discontinued. Is there any update please? TIA

Liz Earle has not discontuined the hair oil you will be pleased to hear ,it has indeed been missing of the shelves .
Our reason for this is we are having difficulty in locating a ingredient and it will be back as soon as it is responsibly resourced..

Thank you or your question. Our Botanical Shine Hair Oil formula can go cloudy over time, this is normal for an oil based product and is perfectly safe for use. Exposure to excessive temperature can worsen the cloudiness, so we would recommend storing in a cool, dark place, or in the box provided. Does your nourishing hair oil have silicone in it?

We can confirm that our Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil does contain silicon.
Our aim when developing our Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil was to develop the highest performing product we could. We tried a variety of natural alternatives to silicone when formulating this and we considered over 50 formulation as part of the development. We found that the formulations containing silicones vastly outperformed the silicon-free formulations. The surfactants in our Botanical Shine Shampoo is very effective and we believe this is sufficient to cleanse the hair, preventing any significant build-up of silicones on the hair.
