COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)
Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)
Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.
CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)
Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.

Love it!
I’ve been using cleanse and polish for a number of years and I love it! It feels so nice on my skin and although -since I don’t wear makeup I’ve none to remove it takes away the days grime to leave my skin feeling clean and healthy. I’ve occasionally thought of swapping for a much cheaper couple of quid cleanser but since I don’t spend a lot on myself I always treat myself to this .

Love this product
I brought this about a month ago. I have used this brand before and then Changed to another, which was no way near as lovely as this product.
My skin feels and looks younger with its use.
Only one disappointment was I wish I had the face cloth with it...I will be buying one!

Hello Radiant Skin!
Having received this is a Xmas present I was initially sceptical if it would work for my skin but I absolutely love it! The product is a game changer for me when used with the Hot Cloth to both cleanse, soften and gently exfoliate - My previously dull and tired skin has never looked so radiant and balanced tbh so I have just purchased my second bottle. Highly recommend, value for money as the 100ml lasts a while, so definitely worth a try.

Feels like a mini spa treatment
I just love this cleanser! It's really good at removing any makeup (even foundations that can't be washed off with soap) and it never dries out or irritates my skin. The smell is really nice and relaxing too and together with the hot cloth it makes me feel like I'm at a spa for a moment whenever I use it.

I started using cleanse and polish more than 30 years ago. I’ve recently slipped away to cheaper brands and my skin was suffering. I won’t be doing that again, recently stocked up on more items from the range because they absolutely work.

Great for my sensitive skin!
I have extremely sensitive and dry skin which is not great on a good day but worse when it flares up in the winter season or other times of the year. I have used cleanse and polish on my face for a few years now and find it great for my skin. It’s gentle for my sensitive skin yet effective in cleansing. Supporting the dryness of my skin it immediately softens it leaving it feeling more supple and a good foundation for me then layering my serum and moisturiser. I visibly see results after using this.

I've been using Cleanse & Polish since the pink packaging. I love it !!.
My skin is so sensitive but, I don't realise it is because C & P is so gentle on my skin. It cleanses really throughly but really gently. Leaves my dkin so soft.
I've even got lots of my family using it.
I'll never use anything else
As long as it doesn't change !....
Please don't change it 🙏....!!...
I don't use the "skin repair " now. It's too greasy for me and the lovely smell that was, has gone...
The skin Tonic tried to change and was awful !.
Thankfully this was realised and the original skin Tonic brought back. 👌
I would rather the "original". Rather than the scented ones. Due to my sensitive skin.

Gentle and Clean
This is my favourite cleanser.
I have sensitive skin and have tried lots of makeup removers including balms, and all have ended with breakouts, so in the past I tended to avoid them and just double cleansed instead. This cleanser does both steps easily and leaves your skin feeling great and hydrated after

Has there recently been a change to the formulation of this or your matching toner? This and the toner used to be so good for sensitive skin but I’m finding it is triggering my eczema when it never used to so wanted to enquire whether you’ve changed it?
I have sensitive skin and also have used the tonic for years. I haven’t noticed any change as yet , but I am using tonic that is 6 months old .

Have you recently changed the formula in any way? I've been using this for years and have recently noticed it's not as creamy as before, plus the fragrance doesn't seem as strong
I have been using this for 20 years and I’ve most recently noticed that this is now leaving scum in my sink after use and it never did that before. There must have been a change to some cheaper ingredients for it to do this. The original smell is also changed as it’s lost that eucalyptus scent.

How to useLIZEARLE Naturally active napkin?

Used alongside our Cleanse & Polish, our Pure Cotton Cloths will gently exfoliate the skin. Rinse the cloth under hand-hot water and gently wring it out, then wipe away all traces of cleanser from your skin. Use with circular movements to stimulate the skin, dislodge dead skin cells and lift away impurities and make up. Rinse thoroughly after every use and allow the cloth to air dry naturally. We recommend that you pop them into a 30 degree white wash after every few uses to keep them fresh and clean.

Has this changed, over the last few months I noticed a distinct sludgyness in the consistency, am looking for something else instead. It definitely not as good as it used to be.

Sometimes, due to differing harvesting methods we use along with the different locations and seasons, this can affect the natural plant oils and botanicals we use in our formulations. This may impact the colour, aroma or texture of a formulation. This should only be very minimal though and does not affect the performance of the product.

Our products have been tested in accordance with industry standards and show a minimum shelf life of at least thirty six months. Many specific environmental factors influence the shelf life of a product, which means that we are unable to confirm for how long your Liz Earle product can be stored unopened once it has been despatched to you.
On each of our products you will find the EU standard Period After Opening (PAO) symbol which identifies the 'lifetime' of a product once opened for the first time. It can be used as a guide once your product has been opened. The number inside the image of the pot tells you the number of months of this product's lifetime once opened, for example 9M indicates 9 months.

This deeply cleanses and will gently exfoliate, to reveal clearer-looking skin. Used with the gently exfoliating pure cotton cloth, it lifts away dead skin for a smoother, brighter-looking glow.

Does it matter if I soak the cloth into a cold water instead of hot??
