Deep Cleansing Mask
ALOE VERA
(Aloe barbadensis)
Featuring formidable hydrating, soothing and cooling properties, our aloe vera is harvested in the morning to maximise the amount of juice the sword-shaped fronds yield, before being freeze-dried to create a powder.
GREEN CLAY
(Kaolin)
Well-known for its ability to absorb excess oil from the skin, we use green clay to help balance and smooth.
MANUKA HONEY
(Mel)
Renowned for its moisturising properties, we source our Manuka honey from New Zealand. Manuka honey is rich in methylglyoxal (MGO), which originates in the nectar of manuka flowers - it is the presence of MGO that makes Manuka special compared to average honey.

Best clay mask I have used.
I normally find cleansing masks very drying and often cause sensitivity. This mask is so different. It purifies as well as hydrates. I love the smell and can really see the difference after using it. My skin is clearer and has a glow.

Clay mask that is light and not ot too drying
I bought this a few weeks ago. I don't tend to use masks as there are so many more products available these days for specific skin issues, and my skin is pretty sensitive. However, I bought this to help shift a few small blackheads that I can see on my chin and nose. I applied it to cleansed skin 3 days (not consecutive) and I have not noticed any changes/clearer skin following use. I expect what I need to use is an AHA, so may not be that the product is not the right one for the task. Maybe better on a pampeer/preventative approach rather than to fix an issue. I will add though, whilst results are not evident for me, it is a very creamy less drying formula than any clay masks I have used over the years.

I Love This!!
This is one of the best clay masks I’ve tried. Doesn’t burn or dry out my skin. It’s an unusual smell, but i don’t think it’s unpleasant.
Most importantly, it’s keeping my breakouts at bay, so to me it’s a winner

A must have
Always use this before a night out or when I need to look my best - make up goes on and stays on fabulously after use.
I do not like the new tube at all! Screw tap is fiddly to get back on and the box the product arrives in is completely unnecessary. It’s a staple product for me so would prefer to have without the box - save the planet & all that.

I only use this mask occasionally as I have old sensitive skin and don’t really need it and prefer to use the other masks within the liz earle range, but it deserves a mention as it does deep clean my sensitive skin and does not irritate, glides on well and only a thin layer needed, it contains honey which makes it even better

Great deep clean
This mask is great for my combination/oily skin, especially in the summer months. It’s cooling when applied and goes onto the skin beautifully. I only need to leave it on for about 10 minutes and my skin feels refreshed and soft after removal.

Excellent face mask
I found that this mask really helps with breakouts, especially from wearing face masks at the moment. It is easy to apply and doesn't feel hard on the face. Once I washed the mask off using the sponge, my face felt so soft, clean and fresh. I have very sensitive skin and I am pleased to say that I did not have any issues with using this mask.

Good but smells
The smell I do not find pleasant, I then looked at other reviews who had found the same. It was not horrible but it wasn’t nice either. However putting the smell aside, the product leaves your skin feeling lovely and refreshed.

Smooth and silky
The mask was gentle and easy to apply and not like a thick clay mask it just makes it look as if your face is dirty. The only thing I found was that it is highly fragranced and so irritated my eyes a little but this didn’t detract from the fact that it did make my skin feel lovely, clean and fresh and didn’t dry it out. Afterwards I applied my usual routine of skin tonic, botanical drops and moisturiser and my skin felt beautiful. Liz Earle products never fail to disappoint me and I love that they are all natural botanical products and worth the investment as a little goes a long way. My skins never been so clear.

How and when to use reusable pads that have arrived with my last order?
Hi, thank you for your question and your recent order.
We would recommend pouring a generous amount of our Instant Boost Skin Tonic onto a reusable cotton pad and sweeping over your face and neck area (preferably after cleansing). Then follow with the next step of your skincare routine such as serum, moisturiser, etc.
We would recommend washing the reusable cotton pads after every couple of uses to keep the cotton fresh and clean. The pads can be washed in with your normal white or light wash at 30 degrees. If you have very sensitive eyes/skin and find detergent residue irritates, we suggest washing the pads in soap flakes or boiling them in plain water. We would also recommend allowing these to air dry and not tumble dry.
