Makes my skin feel soft and smooth
I have been using this product for a couple of years now. Used 2/3 times a week at bedtime, I do wake up to skin that feels brighter and with some elasticity. I have combination skin and menopause has added its own challenges. However, using this mask as part of my nighttime routine has definitely helped soften those pesky lines.

AMAZING WONDER PRODUCT!
This is one of the best products I have ever used for restoring beautiful moist and plump skin. I recently went into menopause and for the first time in my life, my skin became quite problematic, super dry, flaky and spotty....eeeek! I had stopped using restore skin paste for a while as my skin was already in great condition, but I have pulled this product back out the drawer and OH MY GOODNESS what a difference it has made. Within 48 hours of use my skin is looking like the old me again. AMAZING - I'm stocking up on more immediately!

Great for pre menopausal skin!
Used this over the calming drops and woke this morning to plump soft skin. I look like I’ve had fillers which isn’t a bad thing. Light smell, creamy to apply. Not one bit of dry skin this morning!

Fabulous Mask
I have been using this on my mature skin and wow the results are amazing. I suffer from the occasional breakout and the Cica Paste has worked its magic and left my skin looking brighter, less redness around the spot area and so much calmer. An excellent product which I thoroughly recommend.

I feel my skin is wind burnt. Red, sensitive and extremely dry.

My son bought Liz Earl face wash for me as Xmas gift snd A tube of CICA cream was recommended by boots shop assistant
As soon as I applied the cream I saw a difference next morning
Within 4 days my skin has improved.
Gone is the dry flakey skin.
The redness caused by cold, wind, and central heating under control.
I will never be without this product. It is a must.

It really makes a difference
I was a bit sceptical regarding this cream as I’ve a cupboard full of hopefuls that don’t live up to expectations but this really helps I have rosacea and find the evenings I use this cream I don’t flush I know it’s the central heating and glass of wine but I have to live a life and once the central heatings off it’s not too bad at all This cream however has become my winter go to cream and no doubt it’ll still be on the go in summer

Good all rounder
I’ve been using Liz Earle products after a recommendation from my mum. I have always had problem skin, breakouts, scarring, really dry but sometimes oily too. Since using these products my skin is unrecognisable, I now have the confidence to go out without make up (if I’m feeling lazy). Specifically the paste is brilliant if you want something thicker than a moisturiser but without the oily ness of an intense cream. It’s brilliant, can’t recommend more highly, plus it lasts for ages as you only need a small amount.

Miracle worker
I noticed my skin becoming more dehydrated and sensitive with the change of seasons, but didn't want a heavy night cream as these often break me out. Wearing a mask for 40 hours a week at work has also caused a flare up of some cystic acne. I was recommended the CICA paste at a Liz Earle counter, and the difference has been immediate. She advised me to use it two-three times per week, and it helps to hydrate, smooth, reduce redness/inflammation, ease flakiness, and soften my skin. I was worried it would be too rich and exacerbate a breakout but it does the opposite and helps to soothe spots, whilst also adding some moisture to my skin. You only need a little, so I'm expecting the tube to last at least a couple of months. Very happy indeed.

Amazing results!
I have been using this regularly now twice or three times a week and have found that my skin is a lot clearer. It has calmed and balanced my skin texture and blemishes. It’s easy to apply and while it sounds a mask, it is only a thin layer needed and it is absorbed in so when you sleep it doesn’t transfer on to you pillows. When I wash the face first thing in the morning, it looks radiant and bright! Love using this alongside/alternation the new alt_retinol overnight mask.

This paste is amazing! I suffer from occasional flare ups acne rosacea as well as having to wear a surgical face mask all day at work all day resulting in a not very happy chin. A thin layer of this at night before I go to bed helps to calm any redness or signs of impending breakouts.
I also give it to me teenage daughter to use and again after a few applications her spotty, greasy skin is looking a lot calmer and clearer.
A small amount is all that needed and allow to dry before you put your head on the pillow. Tube will last for ages!

A Comfort Blanket for Skin
I bought this and initially used it as a mask before realising that I could use it as a night cream. It's so thick and creamy my skin loves it. I wish I'd discovered this earlier it really helps my skin calm and soothe when it feels a bit stressed out. I use it a couple of times a week and I'm very happy with the results.

What should this product smell like? I recently bought some items from Liz Earle and received a complimentary cica paste. I’ve used it twice now and it doesn’t seem to smell right. Should it be a pleasant smell, my tester doesn’t smell good.
My its smell plike plants (like if you take some leaf, snap it and smell it) , with bit citrus in but seems just me some on my family say it smell neutral.. different anyway from other product i have

What would be the best way/routine to use Cica paste, moisturising mask and night cream. I have very dry skin and these all work for me but I don’t know how to use them in a regular routine?

Our CICA Restore Skin Paste helps to soothe, calm and nourish your skin while you sleep. Suitable for all skin types however, this is perfect for those with dry skin, or those that suffer with any redness or sensitivity.
All our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible, so our products can be used by those with even the most sensitive skin. However, as everyone's skin is so very different, what may be suitable for some, may not be suitable for others. Some people can react to the most gentle of ingredients, in the same way we can react to certain foods, so we always stress the importance of carrying out a patch test, when using any product for the first time.
This should be used in the evening, after you have cleansed and toned. If you have very dry skin, you can apply this after your regular moisturiser in the evening. We would suggest using a specific night cream on alternate evenings to the CICA Paste.

I bought this recently and it feels lovely on my skin, but I’m not sure how much to use. A thin layer absorbs straight into my skin just like a regular moisturiser and is not visible. Does it sound like I am applying the correct amount? Thanks!

From the description of how much you are using, it sounds as if you are using the correct amount. We would generally suggest applying a thin layer onto your face and leave on overnight. It’s not unusual for the CICA to Restore Skin Paste to absorb quickly into the skin, which is why this treatment mask is ideal for night-time use and not transferring onto your pillow as you sleep. Please be assured your skin is benefitting from all the restorative and nourishing properties as you sleep even with a small amount applied.

Would this help rosacea - I have the redness and pustular variety. I’m considering it, but am concerned it might be £32 wasted.

As our products are not intended for medical use we regret that we are unable to advise if it would be suitable as we do not know what ingredients your skin may be sensitive to. It may be worth checking with your GP for further advice.
Our CICA Restore Skin Paste has received some wonderful feedback from customers that suffer from rosacea. This product works overnight to visibly improve the appearance of imperfections by boosting the skins moisture barrier. It is also instantly calming and soothing and provides the skin with up to 48 hours of hydration. However, if you do decide to try this, we would suggest that you carry out a patch test first. A little should be applied to a small area such as the crook of the elbow or behind the ear at least 24 hours before use. Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point during use - then you should immediately discontinue use and we would not recommend use of that particular product.
We also have a great 60 day returns policy, should you find any products unsuitable and need to return them to us.

Is this similar to the super skin over night mask. I can’t find the overnight mask so was wondering if it was discontinued and replaced with this?

We realised that Superskin Overnight Mask, when applied as a light layer does not require rinsing off in the morning and can be used as a night cream. A night cream is something we often hear from our customers that they would like introduced to our range - sooner rather than later. So for us it felt like a natural step to transition this into a hybrid product that can have a dual use, so when we changed the packaging of our Superskin range, we also changed the name of this product to Superskin Nourishing Night Cream which can be found on our website. You can still use as an overnight mask if you apply a thicker layer, and rinse off with your morning cleanse.

When it comes to pigmentation and scarring Rosehip oil has visibly regenerative properties. It’s the most effective plant oil for skin repair and restoration. Clinical studies have proven its ability to soften scars, reduce 'age' pigmentation spots and patches and improve the appearance of fine surface lines. Superskin Concentrate for Night contains Rosehip oil and would be a great choice for the above concerns with prolonged use.
