SHEA BUTTER
(Butyrospermum parkii)
Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help improve the barrier function of the skin, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.
APRICOT KERNEL OIL
(Prunus armeniaca kernel oil)
Used for its lightweight silky texture, we source our apricot kernel oil from the Mediterranean. We use the fixed oil in our products which is high in essential fatty acids, particularly oleic acid, and vitamins A and E.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

The best mask on the market
I have been using this for years and it’s the best mask on the market.
I use this all year round, more so when I feel my skin needs extra hydration. I couple it up with superskin concentrate for added moisture and bliss. Pre Covid I always used both on a long haul flight to keep me hydrated.
I sometimes depending on my skin use a light layer in the day as a day cream. If I am at home all day.

Perfect for very sensitive skin
After lots of debating I finally took the plunge and purchased this last month
Oh why did I wait so long?!!!
It’s fantastic
I can use hardly any creams on my skin it’s super sensitive but this is amazing so hydrating soft like a warm bath on my face
I have had no reaction at all
Quite a statement because just about everything irritates my skin

Lovely product
I was looking for a gentle exfoliator, this is the first time I have tried this and I really like it. Gentle enough to use regularly and skin feels lovely and smooth afterwards. Also smells really nice, got in sale which was a bonus so very happy.

Soft and smooth my ideal partner
Hydrating Cream Mask is a must for anyone with complex skin. My skin can be dry and oily and need daily hydration but gets congestion if I use any oils. This mask is so easy to apply and does the science in a few minutes leaving my skin refreshed and nourished with a gentle cleanse.

Fantastic product
I have used this just 3 times and I can honestly say that it is the best mask I have ever used. When you put it on you can feel it tingling as it works and it sinks into the skin to leave beautifully soft and healthy looking skin. Cannot recommend this product enough. Disappointing
Whats happened? I have been a Liz Earle customer for more than a decade and have tried and loved most products - Except this. It felt chalky when applied and after I removed it my skin felt very irritated and tingly and not moisturised at all. I used the intensive nourishing treatment and when I discovered it had been discontinued I looked forward to using its replacement and sadly it is not a patch on my old favourite. I won’t be buying it again.

Amazing product
I recently had a virtual skin appointment with a Liz Earle representative to discuss my skin routine (already use Liz Earle) . I had a couple of areas of concerns ( probably due to my age) so she recommended that I use this mask . I have used it twice now and I absolutely love it . My skin feels fresh and looks youthful . As a mother of 2 small children, my skin has taken the hit recently and with lockdown I decided to dedicate some time and money to my skin. After numerous products that made no difference to the overall appearance I decided to try this and it has worked wonders! It’s a must!

Amazing hydration!
WOW! I love this product . . . it does exactly what it says on the packaging (moisturises for 72 hours) but it also does much more! It feels lovely and silky going on your skin, with no greasiness, and washes off in the Liz Earle classic way of using warm water! My skin felt amazing after each use and friends have actually commented on how great my skin looks!

Can this mask be used ever night?
If you have very dry skin I’m sure that your skin would appreciate this every night. Personally I find two or three times a week is perfect. Apply a thin layer and leave to soak in.

I have this mask, haven't got round to using it yet... I would like to know can you use it as a moisturiser or only as a mask treatment?

Our Hydrating Cream Mask contains a blend of botanicals that leave skin feeling smooth and nourished. This is designed to be left on the skin for no longer that 10 minutes, so we would not recommend using this as a moisturiser. The thick consistency will also sit on the surface of the skin, as this has not been designed to be absorbed, so not suitable for use as a moisturiser. If you are looking for a moisturiser that will help to boots hydration, you may wish to consider our Skin Repair Hydrating Night Cream. This formulation contains ingredients that help to lock moisture into the skin whilst you sleep.

Can you use the Hydrating cream mask on your hands and does the mask feel warm on your skin when used on the face

Our Hydrating Cream Mask has only been tested for use on the face, so you may not achieve the same results if used on the hands. This should not feel warn on your skin, if this does, it could mean that the product is unsuitable for you, or has been left on the face for longer than the advised period. Is it best to leave on your skin overnight to do its work or rinse off and tone and moisturise as you would normally do?

As our Hydrating Cream Mask is not an overnight mask, it has not been tested for this purpose, so we would not recommend leaving this on overnight.
However, we do have our CICA Restore Skin Paste which is a nourishing and intensely hydrating overnight mask. The ingredient 'CICA' also helps to improve imperfections whilst you sleep.
