COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)
Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)
Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.
CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)
Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
(Eucalyptus globulus)
Renowned for its purifying properties and invigorating aroma, we source our eucalyptus from China, where our essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the fast-growing eucalyptus tree.

Hot cloth cleanser with no cloth included!
It seems a bit silly to sell a hot cloth cleanser without at least a mini version of the muslin cloth attached! Bought this as a gift for my husband and went to buy the cloth elsewhere, when it arrived sans cloth! Great scent though and he seems pleased with this.

Great cleanser for the men
I started buying this as soon as I heard that Liz was launching it. I use it everyday & it really gets into the pores & gets rid of all the grime & dirt, all with the great masculine Liz Earle for men fragrance. I keep asking for a men’s aftershave lotion, as the women have a number of fragrances, but there isn’t a dedicated fragrance for the men, as yet. I’m hoping that Liz will develop a fragrance specifically for the men, in the near future.

I actually bought this for my young grandson who had some dry skin and spots starting to come through which did upset him. His skin soon showed signs of clearing up and his confidence returned back to his old self. He now has his routine of using it once a day. It’s a start ! but will advise him to increase his routine to twice a day.

A 'MUST HAVE' IN THE BATHROOM
I have been using this for years and I love it. It removes every trace of make-up at the end of the day and stimulates and refreshes the skin. It's a pity the pump has been discontinued as this always dispensed a measured amount which was very useful - I tend to be overgenerous with the tubes! Lovely fresh smell and the perfumed ones, when available, are superb.

I bought for myself and my husband as we both use / share cleanse and polish as it’s I understand it’s the same product in different colour packaging. I bought the mens triple set pump as they don’t seem to do the pump in the ladies/green pump anymore but I much prefer the pump version. Been using for about 25 years so somewhat disappointed if the pump is no more.:-(

Great for any age
I have used Liz Earle for so many years, cannot remember how long now. Love this product for the men in my family. Grandsons have used since around age of 13 and they did not suffer the often dreaded breakouts - got them used to regular cleansing. All the men in the family report their skin feeling good and if they run out of theirs, the original is used from the females in the family - without permission usually !!!

I’ve used Cieanse and polish since Liz Earle first appeared on QVC , Started buying for my husband who now loves this product. It makes shaving easier on his skin and it smells Devine . We will continue to use (now in 70’s) and would definitely recommend everyone should give this a try

Is this product suitable for use on face and beard? Or face only?

Our Cleanse & Polish is suitable for use on the entire face, including the delicate eye area however, this has not been tested for use on a beard. This may depend on how long your beard is, due to this being a cream cleanser, it may be unsuitable for a long beard.

What age can this be used from? My son is almost 11 and starting to get the odd breakout. I'd like to get him into a good routine to help minimise them, but unsure if this would be suitable for him, or if I'm best to stick with the original?

Both our original Cleanse & Polish and our men’s edition offer the same experience and both deliver visible results. There are some minor differences in the formulation however these don’t affect the way the product works and you will get the same great results from either product.

Could the pure cotton facecloth be used instead of the muslin cloth? I bought the men’s version but, sadly, no cloth.

For best results, we would recommend removing our Cleanse & Polish with the pure cotton cloth, as the cloth helps to remove dead skin cells, keeping your skin clean and clear.
Our Men's Cleanse & Polish is available to purchase with our without cloths, as we are aware that some customers don't wish to have the cloths every time they purchase our cleanser.
