Stings and doesn’t hydrate
I’ve used Liz Earle for years. The cleanser is great but each moisturiser I have tried hasn’t been great, this one included. I’d say I have dry but not very dry skin and this stings when I put it one and doesn’t leave my skin dry, just tight. The eye cream was the same, that even left big red patches! I hate to stop using it because it was so expensive but it’s just too uncomfortable.

Awful aroma
So disappointed with the aroma of this product. I was so looking forward to trying it but the strong smell of ‘pine disinfectant’ was overpowering & I couldn’t proceed. Sorry had to bin in as I couldn’t even pass it on to anyone I know as it was so bad.

Do not use if you have sensitive skin
Cream smells nice and goes on well but it made my skin red, tingle and burn. Tried for two nights and in the end I had to wash it off. It does not moisturise dry and sensitive skin. Avoid if you have dry and sensitive skin. Such a shame and such a waste of money.

Amazing feel
Got a sample size and truly loved this! Such an amazing product, I have very oily skin and after I tone and use a serum. It feels absolutely amazing and gives a gorgeous soft glow in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this enough for any types of skin!!! Please try this out it’s great.

Luxurious and comforting
I’ve used this for 3 months now. It has a gorgeous lavender scent and glides on my skin. A little greasier than my day cream but certainly leaves my skin supple by the morning. No itchiness or reactions and I found it gentle around my eyes too.

Odd smell - not keen on it
I bought this as a change from the Superskin with neroli moisturiser . It has an odd smell , quite clinical which has meant that it remains in my cupboard . A pity as it sounded promising. Gone back to the Superskin with neroli .

It works!

Does a good job
This night cream is nice to use after a lovely cleanse and polish, and very affordable. I am 71 but because iv been using liz earl for years my skin doesn’t need the richer night cream, this skincare range is subzero, and I do try other makes from time to time but it’s very as nice to use as LE, and I always get compliments on my skin so what’s not to love

Can this be used in oily skin prone to breakouts

We'd suggest (as with all our products) that you carry out a patch test first. A little should be applied to a small area such as the crook of the elbow or behind the ear at least 24 hours before using it.

I love the idea of this cream but I am 48 and noticing my skin looking older! Will this cream be effective enough for older skin or should I stick with super skin? Could I alternate? Xx
I just started using this cream and find it hydrating and not heavy. I am 55 but my skin cannot take heavy creams, so this appears to be ideal along with the hydrating serum. As long as your skin is hydrated, it will keep it supple. It has a subtle scent from the natural ingredients and is not overpowering. So far I am liking this cream, before I could only use lotions. Alternating creams can sometimes irritate the skin from past experience so I stick to one or the other. Hope this helps.

Will this help with sighs of aging? Fine line etc
I dont think it claims to as in it isn’t a night ‘treatment’ cream specifically for lines/wrinkles but it does really hydrate and nurture your face so it looks generally better and healthier in the morning. I am on my first pot and enjoying using it. Has a lovely soothing scent and sinks in easily . I am recovering from an accident and it feels like a little touch of extra care for my stressed skin. Can I use my superskin face serum or superskin booster drops under this Night cream?
Well I am no dermatologist but I have used many different serums under different moisturisers with no problems, as LE is an ethical company I would have no problem In Using them

I was looking forward to trying this but can't use niacinamide. Will you be bringing out a version of this without niacinamide for those of us who are sensitive to it?

We've chosen to include this ingredient in our Skin Repair Hydrating Night Cream as this supports the skin’s moisture barrier, whilst being soothing and calming, which is especially beneficial for those with reactive or sensitive-feeling skin.
