Working in harmony with our skincare range, this lightweight formula is enriched with avocado and borage seed oils to moisturise and Alaria esculenta extract to leave skin looking revitalised, plus natural source vitamin E.
Bare 01: Fair. Suits most alabaster complexions.

ALARIA ESCULENTA EXTRACT
This brown algae, sourced in Brittany, is rich in essential fatty acids and sterols, making it an effective skin moisturiser. Also known as winged kelp, it demonstrates anti-elastase activity which results in firmer-feeling skin.
AVOCADO OIL
(Persea gratissima)
Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

New Formula
How disappointing that this product has changed.
I have been buying Sheer Skin Tint since it was launched.
I opened the new tube and the first thing that I noticed was the consistency - much runnier. It didn't seem to absorb very well at all. The shade is darker and I looked as if I was wearing a mask of very badly applied fake tan/wrong shade of foundation. It seemed sticky and shiny rather than "dewy". I also thought that it seemed to transfer very easily onto clothing etc which didn't happen previously. The smell is also unpleasant - very synthetic.
I threw the tube away. I don't like waste but it was just unusable.
I fear that this feedback won't be acted upon. Superskin Concentrate was changed, customers reviewed accordingly, but we're stuck with the new formula. (Another product I no longer buy).

Bring back the old formula
I bought my third tube of this without realising the formula had changed. It is now very runny and the colour much deeper and orangey. The smell is not good, so much so that I thought I had a defective tube and took it back to Boots. However the display tube was the same. I have tried shaking it up a lot, as suggested by staff at the counter, but it makes no difference. I will not be buying again.

Very disappointed
Used to love this product but very disappointed with my latest purchase. Far too 'runny'. It'e very thin and the colour is orangey. Afraid to say I definitely won't be buying this again.

Poor Quality
Like other reviewers I have been using Liz Earle sheer Tint for many years and loved the dewy, youthful coverage it gave to my skin. Unfortunately, the new formula is not creamy at all and leaves the skin looking aged. I am so disappointed that I now need to look elsewhere for a new foundation.

Not at all good!
I have been using Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint for a number of years and have had numerous comments on how healthy my skin looked. The new formula is awful and runny and drying on my face - and the medium tint now appears orange on the skin!! It has now been consigned to the bin and I am now in search of a new tinted
moisturiser.

Bring back old formula!
The new formula is SO disappointing!
I'd been using this product for about a year, it was the best foundation/tinted moisturiser I'd ever used. It had a lovely luxurious creamy consistency and blended beautifully. ...
New formula is really runny, streaky on the skin and feels like much cheaper product!
Won't b buying anymore..

Bring back the old formula!
I used to love(!!) this product but since they've launched the new formula, it is more orange, a thinner consistency and therefore less easy to rub in. I've found it's a little more 'cakey' too - definitely better than some others on the market, hence the 3 star rating, but I will be looking elsewhere for my next cream...

What have they done to this product?
I have used this for years and loved it but the new version is so awful: runny, orange, looks caked on and now gives me spots. I can't use this anymore, such a shame as the original was amazing! Sort it out Liz Earle!

Extremely Disappointed
I have used this product since it was launched & loved the texture, coverage & dewy finish. However I was extremely disappointed when I recently bought a new tube with the new formulation. Everything about it is different. It is difficult to apply, settles into every pore & line & looks dry - very aging. I'm afraid I won't be buying Skin Tint again.

Wish I had returned it
I bought this product in Summer and the only way i can apply it is by diluting it with moisturiser. I wish I had returned it but I persevered with no luck. It feels really dry on the skin.

Oxidises; totally different formula
I was so disappointed by the update of this product! I guess there are now skin care benefits to the Liz Earl Skin Tint, but I can't review that aspect because I gave up after the second use. The formula is unrecognisable. The earlier version had a luminous finish, this one is matte, cakey, and sits in fine lines. It dries so quickly it has to be applied in sections. But by far the most frustrating and bizarre change is the deepening of the shades -- there are only three shades, but the middle one, 'beige,' is now what would be two shades darker in a 12-shade foundation range...now firmly a medium shade. A medium shade that oxidises even deeper when applied to the skin! It much more closely resembles the darkest shade, 'beach,' from the old formula.
I returned mine.
