Working in harmony with our skincare range, this lightweight formula is enriched with avocado and borage seed oils to moisturise and Alaria esculenta extract to leave skin looking revitalised, plus natural source vitamin E.

ALARIA ESCULENTA EXTRACT
This brown algae, sourced in Brittany, is rich in essential fatty acids and sterols, making it an effective skin moisturiser. Also known as winged kelp, it demonstrates anti-elastase activity which results in firmer-feeling skin.
AVOCADO OIL
(Persea gratissima)
Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

Natural all year round glow
I swear by this as an everyday alternative to any foundation all year round. Just swap between the 01 bare and 02 beige winter to summer. Leaves skin skin, hydrated and dewy with a light coverage which is easy to build upon where necessary. Love it!

NOT THE SAME
I used this for many years and loved it. So pleased to find it again in Boots- however it is not the same product.
It is much less like a sheer tint as it used to be and more a foundation- which don’t want.
The colour is also different from the original.
If I had kept the receipt I would return it.
So disappointed.

Please listen to your customers
I am so bitterly disappointed in the new formula. I used to adore this product - nothing could even come close. I’d even go as far as saying I would’ve used it for the rest of my life. BUT the new formula is awful. The beige colour is more pinky toned and makes me look slightly red. It also gets very greasy fast and just does nothing for me. My complexion actually looks better without anything on despite it being fairly uneven. This wears really badly and generally makes me look worse. I am so incredibly gutted.

Horrible coverage
Thought this would be dewy and moisturising. Wasn't a good coverage as I had to mix it with my usual moisturiser. Very matt and not dewy at all.

Wonderful for very dry flaky skin
I have always suffered from very dry, flaky skin and struggle to find a foundation or tinted moisturiser that doesn't make me look worse, not better! I've loved the Sheer Skin tint ever since it was launched. Yes, it's much more oily than any other tinted moisturiser I've tried (and I've tried a lot), but that's what I love about it, especially for the summer, as the sun dehydrates my skin even more. I only use a really small amount - a pea-sized blob does my whole face and neck, and my skin stays dewy and moisturised all day. With every other brand of foundation or tinted moisturiser I've tried, my skin starts to feel tight and looks flat by mid afternoon. It provides a beautiful light coverage that evens out my light/medium skintone, hides minor imperfections but doesn't hide my freckles (I'm a redhead) and my skin still looks natural,
For reviewers who find it too oily, they may just be using too much.
For me, this is a hero product for me - please don't ever discontinue it!

Best makeup ever!
I bought this a month ago and am so pleased with it. I don't like wearing makeup but unfortunately due to my age my skin tone has got very uneven and has blemishes etc. I wanted a coverage which was very natural looking and didn't feel heavy. This product is perfect. It is so light and has great coverage. You wouldn't think you had make up on at all. Well done Liz Earle. yet another product to add to all my others. Highly recommend.

Light coverage that makes your skin glow
I have been using this product for years and it’s my absolute favourite. I’ve never got on with foundation and have sensitive skin. I love how light and soft this feels on your skin. It makes your skin glow without looking like you’re wearing make up.

I love this product!
Honestly the best makeup product I've ever used. They discontinued it a while back and I'm so glad they bought it back...other foundations I have used are just not as good. Gives good light coverage and makes my skin glow. Cannot recommend enough!

Great for my skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product yesterday light and I’m very impressed I have to be very careful what I use because my skin is so sensitive but I went through all the system of putting on cleaner toner eye cream and I did use the light moisturiser before I applied the tint and I’m very impressed like all the products they work very well together thank you

I like LE skin care products. I was persuaded to buy this in store. Very disappointed with this product. It's comes out of the tube OK but is heavy when on and difficult to blend, so I end up putting far more on than with comparative products, and I can't get even coverage. I'm developing spots for the first time in years - it has to go into the bin.

Radiant skin
Really struggle to find a tinted moisturiser that is a good match for my skin and doesn't go orange throughout the day or wear off easily. I want to get the coverage without the heavy cakeness of foundation. Is the first time I have eve re-brought a tinted moisturiser because I love it so much, it covers my imperfections and my skin is glowing radiant. Have had lots of comments on how well my skin looks, highly recommend.

I bought this last week and I love it! I use this in conjunction with Liz Earle cleanse and polish and skin repair (light). I find that it goes on easily and looks light and flawless! I’m really impressed- a great summer foundation.

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint
I have been using this product ever since it first came onto the market with Liz Earle. It was amazing, made my skin look natural and gorgeously dewy and sun kissed. Then the formula changed and this has ruined what was one of the best tints on the market. It is now much more runny and just isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be. Such a shame when a small company sells out.

Changed, but not for the better
I thought this product had changed but thought I was imagining it. After reading the other reviews I realise that the runny product that doesn’t blend is different to the one that I’ve been using for years.
Liz Earle, please sort this out, I won’t purchase this again.

Totally ruined a great product
Have used this product for years since it was first launched, but never again, the new formula is terrible, awful colour, doesn’t blend, such a big disappointment, such a shame the company was taken over, I’m sure Liz herself would be very unhappy with this new formula, have emailed them but they are not interested in their loyal customers anymore, shan’t be buying from Liz Earle anymore after years of buying lots of their products.

Please bring back the old formula!
I used to love the old formula - super creamy, moisturising and looked gorgeous on the skin. Bought it again without knowing they'd changed the formula and I HATE it - now incredibly runny (not creamy) and just sits on your skin looking like an orange mess (even in the lightest shade!). Why Liz Earle still hasn't brought back the old formula is beyond me when all customers are saying the same thing - we would buy the old formula, whereas this new formula is going straight in the bin!

I tried this for the first time a few days ago and I’m actually impressed, I have acne so I thought it wouldn’t really suit my skin but if you add some concealer where you need it, it overall leaves a lovely natural and dewy look! I also recommended it to a friend!

A very disappointed customer
I just can’t believe how when something’s not broken (Don’t fix it) This for me has been the perfect skin tint I’ve ever used. I can’t understand why you’d alter a fantastic product and change it into something completely different, then still keep its original name?
I wouldn’t even rate this product it’s not worth rating.

I'm really surprised by the negative comments on here. I usually agree with the masses! I put the SPF factor to the test this summer and it was really effective. I am fair and find the tint perfect. All similar products I've tried either turn me white or orange. SPF stuff on me is usually heavy and sticky. I used to wear SPF then Foundation and my skin condition was awful. I love Liz Earle products so thought I'd see if this simple product was better than my double layering and it saved my skin. I'm on tube num 2 now and would highly recommend it. It feels like it makes the skin healthy. Perhaps it's a new formula or something?

Bring back the old formula
I’ve used this for years but not anymore since they changed the ingredients list.
I loved the Dewey skin finish it gave.
Now it’s just not worth bothering with. Totally different product.
I’m looking for an alternative to this so if anyone finds something good please let me know.
I’m sad to have lost this from my make-up bag! Liz Earle team, please listen to your customers!

New Formula
How disappointing that this product has changed.
I have been buying Sheer Skin Tint since it was launched.
I opened the new tube and the first thing that I noticed was the consistency - much runnier. It didn't seem to absorb very well at all. The shade is darker and I looked as if I was wearing a mask of very badly applied fake tan/wrong shade of foundation. It seemed sticky and shiny rather than "dewy". I also thought that it seemed to transfer very easily onto clothing etc which didn't happen previously. The smell is also unpleasant - very synthetic.
I threw the tube away. I don't like waste but it was just unusable.
I fear that this feedback won't be acted upon. Superskin Concentrate was changed, customers reviewed accordingly, but we're stuck with the new formula. (Another product I no longer buy).

Bring back the old formula
I bought my third tube of this without realising the formula had changed. It is now very runny and the colour much deeper and orangey. The smell is not good, so much so that I thought I had a defective tube and took it back to Boots. However the display tube was the same. I have tried shaking it up a lot, as suggested by staff at the counter, but it makes no difference. I will not be buying again.

Very disappointed
Used to love this product but very disappointed with my latest purchase. Far too 'runny'. It'e very thin and the colour is orangey. Afraid to say I definitely won't be buying this again.

Poor Quality
Like other reviewers I have been using Liz Earle sheer Tint for many years and loved the dewy, youthful coverage it gave to my skin. Unfortunately, the new formula is not creamy at all and leaves the skin looking aged. I am so disappointed that I now need to look elsewhere for a new foundation.

Not at all good!
I have been using Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint for a number of years and have had numerous comments on how healthy my skin looked. The new formula is awful and runny and drying on my face - and the medium tint now appears orange on the skin!! It has now been consigned to the bin and I am now in search of a new tinted
moisturiser.

Bring back old formula!
The new formula is SO disappointing!
I'd been using this product for about a year, it was the best foundation/tinted moisturiser I'd ever used. It had a lovely luxurious creamy consistency and blended beautifully. ...
New formula is really runny, streaky on the skin and feels like much cheaper product!

How would i know the best colour to buy?
I use 02 Beige. My skin colour is fair being English. Beige is a little darker than when my skin colour is a some what pale during the Winter. However, it gives me a healthier look. It does of course depend on your skin colour.
