Featuring formidable hydrating, soothing and cooling properties, our aloe vera is harvested in the morning to maximise the amount of juice the sword-shaped fronds yield, before being freeze-dried to create a powder.

Calendula

CALENDULA EXTRACT
(Calendula officinalis)

Well-known for its calming and soothing effect on skin, we source our calendula from Egypt, where our ingredient is solvent extracted from the petals of the flower.

Chamomile

CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)

Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.

Cucumber

CUCUMBER EXTRACT
(Cucumis sativus)

Loved for its intensely soothing, cooling and hydrating properties, we source our cucumber from within the UK, where our ingredient is produced from the fresh, green flesh of the vegetable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Instant boost tonic formulas So I need to put this out there..I read bad reviews about the new formulas and I myself stopped buying Liz products because of this, but I then found that instant boost tonic was returning in the old formula so I was delighted to get it back..yes the new formula is not good and definitely does not smell or feel like the original, but you can buy the old formula again!! Also because of bad reviews on the cleanse and polish I again stopped buying this but my skin missed it and one day decided to return to it and I can honestly say I found no difference at all, it still smelt gorgeous and was thick and creamy..gosh I really missed it..so now I am happy with my cleanse and polish and my original formula of skin tonic.. Please don’t rely on bad reviews use your own judgement..I did and now I’m delighted to return to Liz xx

This is my desert island item as it refreshes and gently moisturizes with a lovely uplifting fresh fragrance and goes in my hospital bag. Not sure if it is still available as a spray still but refreshing in hot weather or heated hospital wards and is truly an instant boost.

Can LE please be upfront, honest, and transparent about which product formulas have been changed! I am stuck with two 200ml bottles of this that irritate my skin, so much so that I cannot continue to use them! You have lost another loyal customer.

Has your Skin Tonic Formula Changed ? No scent in my bottle at all

This is a disaster! It began with the superskin concentrate ( I now make my I own in an old rollerball I kept from an original bottle). LE have consistently said contents are unchanged, which is clearly untrue! If I were LE, I'd be ashamed to have my name attached to this now. IBST, Skin repair and superskin concentrate. What's next? I'll not be risking LE products again

Is this a toner or a micellar water? I'm confused by the presence of a surfectant (decyl glucoside).
