ARGAN OIL
( Argania spinosa)
Renowned for its intensely nourishing and hydrating properties, argan is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E. Native to Morocco, our oil is extracted by pressing the sun-dried, roasted and ground kernels of the plum-sized fruit.
ROSEHIP SEED OIL
(Rosa rubiginosa)
Famous for its excellent moisturising properties, rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps enhance the barrier function of the skin while improving moisture retention.
HAZELNUT OIL
(Corylus avellana)
Featuring excellent emollient properties and an ability to keep skin soft and supple, the hazelnut is thought to be native to Asia, where the oil is extracted from the nut.
AVOCADO OIL
(Persea gratissima)
Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.

Received a free sample of the night cream but I really disliked the smell so thought I would give this a go and I absolutely love it. It makes my skin super soft and the smell of the oil is amazing. After a busy day there is nothing better than getting into my pjs and using this oil as part of the routine.

Great hydrating serum
Loving the new pump on the serum although I prefer the roller ball version because the pump serum is more runny and tends to drip over by pillow when I use it at bed time. However its aroma is just as relaxing and helps me drift off - even my husband gets the benefit of the smell.

Low Maintainance high performance
Having dry temperamental skin I am not a fan of changing my routine when I can rely time and time again on my old favourite dependable products. This delivers night after night, relaxed, nourished and a relaxed skin that just slips into my nightly routine as low maintenance is key to me, I do not have time for messing with this and that and all Liz Earle products are effortless to use but delivery results.

I make no apologies for the length of this review! 30 years ago my daughter gave me Cleanse and Polish as a gift to help with a major breakout on my face. I thought Cleanse and Polish smelt very astringent and far too strong for my skin. So I tried many other brands of creams without success. Eventually I gave in and used Cleanse and Polish. I will never forget the relief from the discomfort I felt after a single use. I have continued to use Liz Earle with the occasional dip into other brands. 30 years on I had another major issue with very dry tight and scaly skin. I'm not doing justice to the severity of this issue. I ordered Superskin Concentrate Oil with a free Skin Repair Hydrating moisturiser which arrived within 3 days just before Christmas. I genuinely cannot believe the vast improvement in the texture and feel of my skin! I have been using this oil for ever and always wondered if it was actually doing anything at all for me! Well yes it has! And will continue to do so!

Can’t be bettered!!
I’ve used Superskin Concentrate since it was first on the market and love it and I’ve just sent a bottle to my daughter in Australia as she swears by it too. It keeps her skin hydrated in the hot climate. It’s great to use under bronzer in the summer months.

My go to night regime.
This facial oil is light and glides on, with good coverage so a little goes a long way. The undertone of lavender is perfect to drift off to. It works more effectively than night cream. I wouldn’t consider anything else.

my husband does not use this, but buys it for me, I have such dry skin, it is the only effective oil for me to use, it is wonderful, I not only use it at night, but day as well, it is a great solution for my skin. You will love it, as a bonus the smell is great too,

Smell has changed!
I’ve been using this oil for about 4 years and absolutely love it. I don’t use it daily but 2-4 times a week. One of the best things about this oil was the wonderful smell, it instantly made me feel relaxed. Unfortunately, the one I’ve just received the smell has changed - it’s weaker and doesn’t smell as luxurious. This is such a shame.

As I’m menopausal I have found my skin becoming dry in patches and quite sore and red. Is the superskin concentrate suitable? There appears to be quite a lot of ingredients so I’m a little worried to try it. Thank you

Our Superskin Concentrate for Night is formulated with 100% plant oils. This intensive overnight concentrate nourishes and smoothes while you sleep, leaving skin feeling supple, restored and balanced.
All our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible, so our products can be used by those with even the most sensitive skin. However, as everyone's skin is so very different, what may be suitable for some, may not be suitable for others - so we would stress the importance of patch testing.
If your skin is red and sore, we would not recommend applying any of our products to the affected area. You may wish to seek advice from your GP or pharmacy. As our products are skincare, they are not intended for medical use.

Is this safe for people that have an allergy to nuts? Spotted hazelnut as an ingredients and for all skin types?
I have used this for many years, and Im elderly - with pretty good skin for my age!
Never had any problem using it, but Im not familiar with nut allergies, so can't help in that regard. Can you try a small patch test somewhere?
Its a beautifull product. I have dry skin, and I don't even need a night moisturiser when I use this.

In my late 30s and early 40s I would use this daily and then moisturise. I have normal skin. I’m almost 45 and using this nightly again. Should I also moisturise after or not? Thanks for the advice.

Hi, I’ve used the Superskin concentrate for about 5 years and love it but my question is would I use the Superskin night cream instead of this, alternative nights or as well as? Thanks

Our Superskin Concentrate for Night is an oil whereas Superskin Nourishing Night cream can be used as a mask, meaning ingredients are used in different ways to achieve more targeted skincare benefits. Superskin Concentrate for Night rebalances, softens and moisturises skin whereas Superskin Nourishing Night Cream brightens, firms and plumps. Our Superskin Concentrate for Night can be used nightly, but we recommend using our Superskin Nourishing Night Cream 1-2 times a week as a mask or can be used daily when using as a light layer (this does not require rinsing off in the morning and can be used as a night cream).
It is personal preference as to when and how often you use these. Here at Liz Earle Beauty Co HQ, we like to use the Superskin Nourishing Night Cream 3 times a week as a evening moisturiser, we then use our Superskin Concentrate for Night 3 evenings a week, and then used the Night Cream again as mask by applying a thicker layer.

After applying this would you then apply a moisturiser in top? Or would you moisturise before applying the oil?
Thank you or your question. This super intensive treatment can be used as part of your daily essentials regime after cleansing and toning, or as required to help keep skin balanced and looking it's best.
We recommend using our Superskin Concentrate for Night fairly sparingly, but exactly how much you use is down to personal preference. We would suggest applying the product over the forehead, cheeks and chin as required and then blend with your fingertips. This item would be in replacement of your evening moisturiser.

I think you need to go re-check the ingredients as on the new packaging of Superskin Concentrate that I have received from you it clearly states that 'Glycine soja (soybean) oil is now included in the ingredients. Your website is still showing old list.

We are pleased to advise that we have made no changes to the formulation of our Superskin Concentrate for Night.
Our formulation has always included natural Source vitamin E and the levels of naturally active ingredients, including neroli oil, remain unchanged however you may have noticed that our ingredients are listed on our new packaging slightly differently and the 3 ingredients called out on the front of the pack may also differ.
The move to call out 3 naturally active ingredients across our packs is purely to drive consistency of design across our product portfolio, regardless of pack format. All of our key naturally active ingredients continue to be called out on back of packs, and we can reassure you that while our packs may look different, we continue to formulate with the same naturally active ingredients, at the same levels, for the same trusted results.
