STEVIA EXTRACT
(Stevia rebaudiana)
This naturally active ingredient – sourced from a relative of the chrysanthemum that grows in abundance in France – delivers a retinol-like action helping to minimise the appearance of wrinkles, for younger-looking skin. Traditionally used as a herbal medicine, stevia is renowned for the smoothing, wrinkle-softening power it has on the appearance of skin.
ELDERBERRY EXTRACT
(Sambucus nigra)
Elderberries are a rich source of bioflavonoids, which have antioxidant properties and help to brighten the appearance of skin and improve the look of skin tone. We source ours from Poland, handpicked on land protected to support biodiversity.

Lovely addition to face cream
I like the texture of it and it adds richness to my day and night creams without being greasy. Absorbs well. Will it take 10 years off my 70 year old face?? Maybe, but my skin feels nice , anyway.

Wasnt sure at first whether the Alt-Retinol Booster would actually make a differance. But Actually Love it!!..One Drop I add to my moisturiser day/night and my skin feels so hydrated. Have noticedan improved glow over the past few weeks.A little pricey but you literally only need one drop each time you use. Totally Recommend!!

Essential part of my regime

Love this product, it's the second bottle I have purchased, a little goes along way.
I add a drop to my moisturiser in the morning, and those fine lines are instantly softened. Skin is left looking hydrated.

I received the alt-retinol booster as a freebie ages ago and finally got round to using it a month ago. I have now bought some. It has really improved my skin. It’s softer and the surface looks smoother. I’ve always suffered from large pores and I’m really pleased to have found something that actually does help

Sensational product!!
I tried this as a sample and was impressed, but when I purchased the full size product nothing prepared me for the continued improvement in my skin, after only a few days! After a week my skin was definitely smoother and jus more “alive”. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone!

Great product
I have been using Alt-Retinol Booster for nearly a year and it’s a great product. I mix it with the Light Cream morning and night and it simply glides onto your skin and is absorbed really quickly without leaving any stickiness. Having used Clarins for 20yrs I find this better because it’s lighter and my wrinkles haven’t got any worse in fact eye wrinkles have improved with eye cream from Liz Earle collection.

Great product. expensive for such a small bottle
This is my 2nd bottle & would definitely recommend this product made a definite & instant improvement to my skin. However my 1st bottle was part of a gift & I was unaware of the price & assumed the bottle was a travel size. It’s a small bottle & I feel it’s a bit expensive for the size.

No real difference
I love Liz Earle products but I found this a bit disappointing. I’ve been using this for about three weeks now and I can honestly say that I haven’t noticed and difference to my skin. It sinks into the skin beautifully but as a booster, I saw no effect.

Not convinced this product has worked for me yet
My first time of using this product.
My main concern is the colour of the glass bottle you are unable to see how much of the product is left.
I did use as instructed however it does not indicate either how long this product normally lasts if following the instructions of use age. My bottle lasted just over one month.
I can not comment on if the products has actually made any difference to my face as you need to use the product for at least three months to notice any change in your skin.

My mature skin looks smooth although I have deep expression lines. Sinks in instantly and I hope the product is doing some good. My skink has been smoother since using LE products. I no longer have anting little bumps around my nose. Expensive hence 4 stars but you only need a little every day.

Attractive bottle.

Does the retinol booster/paste help with acne or acne scarring?
Hello, thank you for getting in touch. Our Superskin Alt-Retinol products have not been designed to help with pigmentation or scarring, and instead to help with lines, wrinkles and refine pores.
It may help to know that Rosehip Oil has visibly regenerative properties. It’s the most effective plant oil for skin repair and restoration. Clinical studies have proven its ability to soften scars, reduce 'age' pigmentation spots and patches and improve the appearance of fine surface lines. You may wish to use our Superskin concentrate for Night 2-3 times a week. This is 100% pure plant oils and is a rich, restoring night-time treat for all skin types. It contains softening argan and rosehip oils, soothing neroli, lavender and chamomile essential oils plus antioxidant natural source Vitamin E. Would I use the Alt-Retinol Booster before or instead of my usual skin oil (I use oils in preference to moisturisers)?

Our Superskin Alt-Retinol Boosters are ideal for anyone who is looking to refine the look of pores, looking for supple and refreshed skin and reduce signs of ageing such as lines and wrinkles. Many oils are great for hydrating the skin, so we would recommend using them both alongside each other. The Boosters are water based and have been designed to use before your moisturiser or to be mixed with it. We would recommend using the booster before your current oil you are using rather than mixing them due to the textures not blending as good as a cream-based product.

Hi can I use the alt-retinol during summer time as well? Can I use in vitamin c in the night and the serum during the day or it is too strong?
