COCOA BUTTER

Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)
Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.
CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)
Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.

A daily must!
This cleanse and polish has become a staple product in my routine. I have been using it for a couple of years now, and my skin is more balanced than ever before. I don't suffer with dry patches, or oily t zone. I have tried similar, cheaper versions, but they don't live up to this product.

Been using LE cleanse@polish for as long as I can remember! Excellent!! Does exactly as it says, and I would not use, or recommend, anything else. Have been using Cleanse and Polish forever 20 years. Wouldn't dream of using anything else. What can I say, it's wonderful. My skin is looking pretty good for my age (75) and I credit Cleanse & Polish for that. Don't need to wear foundation for which I am grateful.

Great product but watch out!
This product is excellent and one of the few things I buy over and over. One thing to be aware of though is that there is a body polish in almost identical packaging which I picked up accidentally. Unfortunately I used it on my face without checking and it really burned my eyes and also because I’d then opened it I couldn’t return it so am out of pocket.

An absolute essential!
This iconic cleanser removes make up and even the gloopiest SPF gently and efficiently. I love it for the fact that I don’t need to use messy cotton wool balls etc.
I’m in my mid-70s but still get compliments about my skin. This cleanser exfoliates so well that I no longer get milia and tiny spots.

Buttery radiance in a tube
I've been using Cleanse and Polish for years after commenting on how radiant a few friends skin were, and discovering this was their go to product. I have since been complimented and recommended myself. the texture is gorgeous and buttery, not foamy at all and leaves skin super soft and not tight.

Is the cleanse and polish suitable for oily acne prone skin

My 14 year old grandson has started to get spots is Cleanse and Polish suitable for him and does he need to use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Cream or is Cleanse and Polish adequate.
Everybody’s skin is different but I do find cleanse and polish cleanser works well to keep my skin clear. I personally feel it works better alongside the tonic and I never skip moisturiser. When the skin is dry, it can produce more oil to try and combat this which can lead to more spots. Liz Earle have a few different moisturisers he could try to see which one works best with his skin type. Hope this helps.

Love this cleanser but could you make smaller bottles that are reusable? They would be great for use when travelling.
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Whilst we do have 30ml and 50ml options available for our Cleanse & Polish, a refill system is not something we are looking to introduce.
Unfortunately, offering multiuse or refillable packaging is not an option as some of our formulations can be sensitive to light and by changing the container, this opens the formulation to a different environment. Our packaging is primarily developed to protect the product and to provide a quality customer experience.

Can cleanse & polish be used by my 11 year old granddaughter. Her skin is becoming greasy
Cleanse and polish balances the oils in the skin.its good for oily skin and also dry patches on the skin. Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised. Cleanse and polishes can be used for any age. Wouldn’t be without it.

Has there recently been a change to the formulation of this or your matching toner? This and the toner used to be so good for sensitive skin but I’m finding it is triggering my eczema when it never used to so wanted to enquire whether you’ve changed it?
I have sensitive skin and also have used the tonic for years. I haven’t noticed any change as yet , but I am using tonic that is 6 months old .
