Shampoo review
I bought these recently but I am sorry to say that I am not nearly so pleased with the new shampoo as I was with the original, which has not been available for sometime. My hair is not in such good condition now and it has lost quite a lot of its natural colour and good condition. With the original shampoo my hair was shiny, bouncy and always looked great. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FORMULA AND HAVE ORIGINAL IN THE TITLE OF THE SHAMPOO, EVEN IF IT IS SLIGHTLY MORE EXPENSIVE IT WOULD BE WORTH IT TO ME. The conditioner is fine.

Disappointed
I have been using shampoo and conditioner for many years. Used up all my ‘stock’ of old shampoo so now using the new formula. It is dreadful doesn’t lather. I have always put shampoo into my hands to get a lather and it does not happen now. Is this a ploy to make you use more? Tried using more but still not a lot of lather. I will just have to use it up and find an alternative.

Used to be amazing..
I have been using this product for years and around last summer they change the formula. It’s just not good, it’s drying and doesn’t lather at all meaning you use tons of the product trying to wash your hair. Much better shampoos on the market

I have used the shampoo and conditioner for years and this is the last time I will purchase. Have to use a fifty pence size of shampoo (previously the size of a pea) and I struggle to dispense the conditioner. I have to cut it open and dispense into a container

No turning back
I have been using these products for about 3 years now and i wouldnt change to anything else. I am a women in her 50's so hormonal hair is very much what I'm coping with and I have short hair. I wash my hair every day (yes i know i shouldnt but have been for years) The shampoo smells lovely, you dont need to use alot, it lathers up well and rinses out with ease. The conditoner is beautiful agian you dont need lots, smells beautiful. Leaves your hair feeling light, shiny and healthy. I also use the Liz Earl Hair Oil... againg fantastic product. I only buy these products when there is an offer on.

Please bring back the old shampoo
I have been using Liz Earle shampoo for years. I have tried to give the new formula the benefit of the doubt but it is just not the same. It doesn't smell as nice and the texture and ease of use is not the same. Jury is out on conditioner.

I only wash my hair every few days and enjoy the results of LE shampoo. My scalp feels fresh and clean but it's so gentle. I love the botanical smell and ingredients that is Liz Earle. It's my luxury treat but works well for me

My must have treat
As a Liz Earle follower for many years, these are possibly my favourite products. I always have spares in as I can't ever see myself using anything else.
The shampoo, a little goes a long way, the secret is to thoroughly wet your hair first. Not only does it shampoo well without stripping the hair of natural oils but smells lovely too. But I have a confession to make, it's not out on the bathroom counter for all to use, it's all mine- selfish I know.
It says something when my beautician makes comment on the softness of my hair when doing my eyebrow.
If you're new to Liz Earle, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Smell great
I really like this shampoo & conditioner and smells lovely. It's just right for my hair, not too heavy, but also it doesn't leave it flyaway. I find I only need to use a small amount for good results.

Shampoo has changed
I have used botanical shine shampoo for years, since it was £6 a tube! Soon after Avon bought the company the shampoo seemed to lather more freely which concerned me and now the shampoo doesn’t even look or smell the same and my hair doesn’t have the same shine. I don’t intend to buy it anymore because I don’t think it’s as good as it was and it’s very expensive now

Good combination of products
I bought these products together for the second time. I love the smell of my hair once I’ve used them. When I use the shampoo it doesn’t feel moisturising, in fact my hair can feel quite tasty whilst I’m washing it. However when I apply the conditioner and then rinse my hair is smooth and tangle free.

Shampoo awful
I bought this a few weeks ago. I don’t know what has been done to the shampoo but after using this shampoo for years this recent purchase it has changed and I do not like it. It makes my hair dry and it is a different make up. Sorry but I won’t be buying this shampoo again

Dont like change of in ingredients/ formula
I am sad to say that I'm rather disappointed with the New product. I have been using Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner for many years but you have obviously recently changed the formula as this new one isn't nearly as good as the last. It smells different, is more 'sticky' and more irritable to someone who has scalp psoriasis...Why did it have to change as it was perfect before but im not sure I will be buying it again...

Used to love, now not so much
Iv been using the shampoo and conditioner for many many years and always loved it. Iv tried the new versions for a while now, trying to convince myself I like it, but no, iv now given up and stopped. Such a shame, used to be amazing. Bring the old version back and I will start buying again

Brilliant hair products
I had used the same brand of shampoo and conditioner for years but after a recommendation from a friend I tried the Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner. I’m so happy I did, my hair is so shiny and feels silky. My only criticism is due to the design of the containers, it’s really difficult to get the last bit out of the bottles!

Best Shampoo Ever
I have been using this shampoo along with the conditioner now for a couple of months. My hair is lovely and soft. The biggest thing for me is the results on my scalp. I am prone to dry itchy and flakey scalp and this had helped immensely.

Shocking new formula
I have used this for years and ive loved the shampoo..but not any more. The shampoo makes my hair feel really sticky and kinda matted, like its coated with superglue and stripped of all of its oils. This new formula is nothing like the original that I loved. My hair feels awful after shampooing. I'm just grateful that the conditioner hasn't changed and that this does rectify the awful shampoo. I won't be buying this again and after 8 years of loving this I'm really disappointed that I'll need to find something else. At least they haven't changed the lovely conditioner..yet!

Is this product suitable to use on hair extensions

Are these suitable for coloured hair
yes i have coloured my hair for many years and i use this you only need a very small amount

have used twice but find after the shampoo my hair is extremely tangled, so then having to using twice as much conditioner to detangle. Did anyone else have this issue?

Is Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner sulphate and salt free and suitable for use after Brazillian Blow Dry?
