(Theobroma cacao)

Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.

Rosemary

ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)

Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.

Chamomile

CHAMOMILE EXTRACT

Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.

Just dampen your fingers to massage the small amount of cleanser on your face/neck to remove make-up and dirt. The muslin cloth is excellent, it removes the product and make-up etc, acting as an exfoliate and leaves the skin positively glowing!

How often should the cloth be washed? Do I was it in the laundry with my clothes but how often? Also how often should I change the cloth too?

Thank you for contacting us. We would recommend to wash your cotton cloth after every couple of uses to keep the cotton fresh and clean. Cloths can be washed in with your normal white or light wash at 30 degrees. The open weave allows our cotton cloths to dry quickly and prevent growth of bacteria. If you have very sensitive skin and find detergent residue irritates, try washing the cloths in soap flakes or boiling them in plain water. I hope this information helps - The Liz Earle Beauty Co. Is this product plastic free?

Currently our Cleanse & Polish pumps are not recyclable due to the mix of materials we use, however, we're working on improving this. Hot important is it for the cloth to be hot?

Is it important for the cloth to be warm or does it work just as well with a cold cloth?

We advise rinsing the cotton cloth in hand-hot water before gently polishing off the Cleanse & Polish. However, if you choose to rinse the cloth in cold water, this will not affect the performance and will still remove the product effectively.

Is this good for acne prone skin?

Could you please advise if this product is good for acne prone skin? If not, then what other products would you recommend for acne prone skin? I’ve never tried these products before and looking for something that is good on acne prone skin?

Cleanse and Polish is great for all skin types and ages. I started using it several years ago on my 50+ year old skin having seen it recommended on a TV shopping channel. I was so impressed that I advised my 70+ year old mother to start using it. I was getting so many comments about how good my skin was looking - a first for me! I then advised my teenage sons to use it to help with their teenage skin and then one of their girlfriends started using it to help with her acne. The Cleanse and Polish was so successful that it improved her skin and worked far better than the hospital prescribed meds. Everyone that I have recommended it to over a very wide age span has been so impressed with the Cleanse and Polish. Give it a go and see how you get on. I’m totally hooked!
