COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)
Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)
Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.
CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)
Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
(Eucalyptus globulus)
Renowned for its purifying properties and invigorating aroma, we source our eucalyptus from China, where our essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the fast-growing eucalyptus tree.

Where is the scent
I have used all Liz Earle products for 20 years or more but my latest delivery has left me confused as my cleanse and polish pump has absolutely no scent to it at all. I used to love inhaling this cleanser as I applied it to my face but it has no smell or fragrance whatsoever. I really am confused as to what’s changed?

Cleanse and polish cleared up my skin
I walked through boots for some essentials and a lady grabbed me and asked as she was quiet would I mind having a quick skincare review. I reluctantly made a purchase as thought it would be expensive. I bought 3 items for £36.00, I liked them all but the cleanse and polish will be something that I will keep using as it cleared milia spots on my forehead that I've tried everything for. Also the rest of my face looks much smoother and brighter

Cleanse & polish - Just right for all skin types
Great product and if you’re a ‘face washer’ then I would highly recommend this product, have been using for years and love the majority of LE products. Easy to apply, then remove with a cloth and your face looks really clean without stripping it, like some do.

Was my no.1 for 20 years.. it’s changed.. !!
I’ve used this 💯 for 20years. The last two I bought have been such a disappointment. The consistency anf formula has changed. It now DOES NOT remove my mascara which I’ve also been using for years. I have been using Liz Earle for some years(original) but bought c/p from qvc orange flower, it was a good offer but that’s where it ended. The result is a spotty complexion, and as I bought it to stock pile I am unable to return it

What is the PH level?
Hello
We can confirm that all of our products are pH balanced; most of the range is balanced to around 5.5, which is the skin’s normal pH. This means that they are neither too alkaline or too acidic for the skin. How long does a 200ml of Cleanse & Polish last?

Is this product gluten free?
I see it contains hops. Is this gluten and wheat free?

While we can confirm which products include wheat as an intentional ingredient, without completing a full assessment of the entire supply chain we are unable to offer a full list of products that are free from wheat (so our products may not be suitable for someone with coeliac disease, for example, depending on how serious their allergy is). As a common sense precaution we would always recommend a 24 hour patch test is conducted prior to the first use of any new skincare product.

Do you have to use the cloth to remove the product?
Can I use large cotton pads run under hot water to remove instead of the reusable cloth?

Can you take the cleanser off with the skin tonic or do you advise water first?
For example if you have had a skin peel and should refrain from using water.
For best results we would advise gently removing our Cleanse & Polish with water and the pure cotton cloth. However, if you are unable to use water for any reason then you may wish to try using our Instant Boost Skin Tonic as a temporary alternative. We hope this helps.

How long would a 30ml (travel size) tube of cleanse and polish last?
I'm going away for 10 days and looking to travel light. Assuming I only used it once a day does anyone have any idea how many uses I could get out of a 30ml tube of cleanse and polish?
I've found it contains enough for two weeks, using it twice a day. If you're only using it once a day for ten days, you'll certainly have plenty left over.
