POMEGRANATE FLOWER EXTRACT
(Punica granatum)
With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers.
CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.
ROSEHIP SEED OIL
(Rosa rubiginosa)
Famous for its excellent moisturising properties, rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps enhance the barrier function of the skin while improving moisture retention.

Better than expected
For years I had used another popular brand which was great but went ‘dramatically’ up in price ( I used the ‘smart’ one). Over £60 became too much. I had been using Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner so opted for their moisturiser and it’s been great and a much better price. I’ve ordered another two jars and am really happy with it. I have very sensitive skin and had no issues. Perfect

Superskin
I have been using Superskin since it was launched, I still like it but it is not the same as before when I loved it. It's thinner in texture and feels less luxurious, it's almost like putting a milk like lotion on my skin rather than a marshmallow like texture.

This is the best moisuriser I have ever used
I always use Liz Earle products but had never tried the Superskin moisturiser until I was given one free with my order.
It is THE one for me, absorbs quickly, feels light and non sticky. BUT will have to save up to include it in my beauty routine as it is significantly more expensive than my usual product. Absolutely love it.

Hi I'm 25 and I use this moisturiser i have normal skin. I just read this is supposed to be for mature skin? Would this suitable for my skin or can you recommend a moisturizer which would benefit me more?

This moisturiser would be suitable for any age group, it’s a bit richer than the skin repair range and sinks in quickly leaving your skin feeling fabulous. I don’t use anything else and think it would be perfect for you.

When I started using LE products I think they were all made in the uk however I was disappointed to note that the new multipurpose beauty balm has been made in France. Can you please tell me which other LE products are not made in the UK?

We can confirm that we are on a journey to improve the sustainability of our packaging, and with this in mind our entire range will be transitioning into our new eco-friendly packaging which comes in a mix of recyclable formats, from glass bottles and jars to aluminium tubes. We have chosen to have our products which are packed in a aluminium tube to be manufactured for us by a cosmetics factory in France because of their proven expertise in filling and sealing the 100% recyclable aluminium tube, which we have selected to use for this product. We also manufactured some other products in France such as our multi-Purpose Beauty Balm because the factory there has the specialist equipment necessary to melt the natural ingredients gently together & pour the balm into the jars while it is still liquid. Do your face creams contain an spf? If so what rating and which creams contain one.

We made the decision, early on, not to include an SPF in our moisturisers. This is mainly because we know – from the experts that we work with – that many people with sensitive skin find that using an SPF in their moisturiser daily can actually increase their sensitivity over time – this is particularly the case with chemical sunscreens, such as benzophenones and cinnamates, which can be potential irritants.
Our Environmental Defence Cream provides mineral SPF 25 protection. This product provides broad spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays while also acting as a shield against pollution and blue light, which many make up formulas will not provide. The universally tinted lightweight cream can also be used as a primer, so it works well as a base for your make up; giving you a healthy-looking glow while protecting skin. This should be applied after your moisturiser.
All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible; however, we would always recommend you carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use (behind the ear is ideal in this instance). Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point during use - then you should immediately discontinue use and we would not recommend use of that particular product.
We also have a great 60 day returns policy should you find any products purchased from us unsuitable.

Have they just recently added parfum and linolene (a synthetic fragrance) to it? My cream that I bought a few months ago does not have parfum or linolene in the ingredients list but now it does. Asking because I’m allergic to fragrances.

We have made no change to this formula, just packaging.
You may notice that the ingredient order on some of our packs has changed, in this instance, Superskin moisturiser. With the update in packaging, we have taken the opportunity to update our INCI to be more in line with latest industry guidelines on good practice and transparency, also taking ingredient traceability into account. Please rest assured that the naturally active ingredients within this product are unchanged, and included at the same levels as they were previously, so you can continue to expect the same trusted benefits.
Superskin Moisturiser with Natural Neroli has always contained 100% essential oils and other natural fragrance materials.

I have oily congested skin, use the gel cream in the day but as I’m in my 30’s I am wanting a night cream, would this clog my pores at night?

We can confirm that our Skin Repair Creams can be used morning and evening, so our Gel Cream can also be applied in the evening. Our Superskin Moisturiser is the richest moisturiser in our range, this is suited to those with mature skin, but also much drier skin types, so you may find this a little rich for your skin.

can i use superskin moisturizer with retinol at night

Our Superskin Moisturiser is the richest moisturiser in our range, this is suitable for those with mature or very dry skin. This can be used morning or evening.
We made the decision not to include retinol as an ingredient within any of our formulations, as we know some customers can be sensitive to this. We recently launched our Superskin Alt-Retinol drops and paste, these products are free from retinol. Instead, they are powered by plants which mimic the retinol like action.
