STEVIA EXTRACT
(Stevia rebaudiana)
This naturally active ingredient – sourced from a relative of the chrysanthemum that grows in abundance in France – delivers a retinol-like action helping to minimise the appearance of wrinkles, for younger-looking skin. Traditionally used as a herbal medicine, stevia is renowned for the smoothing, wrinkle-softening power it has on the appearance of skin.
ELDERBERRY EXTRACT
(Sambucus nigra)
Elderberries are a rich source of bioflavonoids, which have antioxidant properties and help to brighten the appearance of skin and improve the look of skin tone. We source ours from Poland, handpicked on land protected to support biodiversity.

Refreshes skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review. I found it easy to apply and it was gentle on my sensitive skin. I do feel that it made my skin feel smoother and refreshed, however I don't think there is any noticeable visable difference so I wouldnt buy it at full price. I would recommend for hydration though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t usually buy expensive skin care products as I’m convinced they won’t work and will be a waste of money. Not this one though! It’s great. You only need a little as the gel goes a long way. It doesn’t have a strong scent, isn’t greasy or oily. I’ve been using it once or twice or day for a week and had several friends/family members comment on my skin - which is enough to show me it’s doing some good!

Amazing product!
This product is truly amazing! The drops absorb really quickly so it's so easy to use them under other products. My skin feels and looks better after just 3 weeks. I have very challenging Rosacea and I can still use these drops with no issues, which is very important for me. I can't praise them enough and highly recommend :-).

Great Retinol Alternative
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this gel very pleasant to use. Unlike other retinol products it didn't make my face sting. It feels nice as it goes on and quickly dries, slightly tightening the skin. This appears to make fine lines disappear without dryness. As an added bonus you can mix it with your moisturiser and I found this a nice way to apply it at night.

Disappointing
Having bought Liz Earle for a number of years this is the first product that I have bought and been disappointed with. It is very thick when targeting specific areas and I can honestly say there is no visible signs of any improvement. Definitely not worth the hype.

Lovely product
I have been using this now for about 3 weeks , I use it every morning and my skin looks a lot smoother and plumped , I can hardly see the wrinkles under my eyes and on my lip line , I can’t use retinol as it makes my skin really sore , this alternative retinol is perfect , my skin loves it , highly recommended

It does work
Being a lady of a "certain age" I was a bit sceptical about the product but having used it twice daily for about 6 weeks (and on to my 2nd bottle) I can see an improvement in small lines especially on the forehead and each side of my eyes area.

Nice product and goes a long way
I found this to be a nice gel that appeared to work well on its own however i did find it a lot better when mixing a few drops in to a moisturiser and then applying.
I only really noticed a slight difference in my skin feeling firmer but my skin felt a lot more hydrated.
You only need a few drops especially when mixed in with a moisturiser as a little goes a long way and it is quickly absorbed in to the skin.

Hydrates skin but no noticeable changes

Whilst my skin does look more hydrated and plump I haven’t noticed any change in the texture or fine lines. I find my retinol-based products much more effective. It’s also a very small bottle but because of the texture you only need 1 or 2 drops.

One drop mixed with moisturiser gives great result

One single drop mixed with moisturiser in your hand makes for a wonderful consistency and also makes your moisturiser go much further - I can easily do my face and whole neck area with the same amount I'd normally use just on my face. It absorbs well and my skin "drinks" it all with no residue.
I've definitely noticed great results now after using it for a month and my skin feels hydrated and healthy. A little goes a long way and also makes your moisturiser go further as an added bonus!

The gel is neither greasy nor oily and glides on to the skin easily. It is quickly absorbed so any other product or make up can be applied soon after. My skin does feel plumper, more hydrated and healthy after using this product.

I was sent this to try and review and have been using daily for around 3-4 weeks. I was expecting either a smoother skin or the faint lines around my eyes to look better but nothings changed.
Does go on really nicely and easy to apply and add into my morning routine.
Will Continue to use and see if it changes after a longer period.
Not sure I would have been happy with the results after paying the full price

Retinol seems to be one of the big players so I was really looking forward to trying this out. After a few weeks of using this once a day in the morning I feel like my skin does look brighter, pores more minimal and just overall more smooth. Really pleased with this- it sank in so easy and didn’t leave a greasy, oily feeling that other serums can.

I am not over impressed with this serum, it is easy to put on and does sink in quickly but I didn't see much improvement myself. The idea that you target the areas that need it is a bit too vague for me as I feel most of my face need some form of help. I don't like mixing products like they suggest as I am never sure if you can mix together creams that have different ingredients.

Since using the superskin alt retinol booster the blackheads on my nose are more prominent and popping out. Do I need to stop using this, advice is gratefully appreciated, thanks

I’ve mixed the Alt-Retinol Booster with Revitalise & Glow over summer but now want to incorporate the Superskin Face Serum into my routine. Can I mix the booster with the serum, or do I need to stick to mixing it with moisturiser?
