KALAHARI MELON OIL
(Citrullus lanatus)
Featuring excellent emollient and nourishing properties, we source our Kalahari melon from the Kalahari Desert, where the pure oil is cold-pressed from the protein-rich dark brown seeds.
BLUE SEAKALE EXTRACT
(Crambe maritima)
Used in our Botanical Shine™ Conditioners for its protective properties, we hand-harvest our blue seakale from sustainable plantations in Brittany, France, where the cabbage-like leaves of the plant are dried then extracted to create our antioxidant-rich ingredient.
PRACAXI OIL
(Pentaclethra macroloba seed oil)
Prized for its natural, shine-boosting abilities and high fatty acid content, pracaxi oil – extracted from the South American pentaclethra macroloba tree – moisturises the hair shaft adding a lightweight silkiness.

Restored my weak hair.
I was recommend this by a Liz Earle assistant in Boots, Oxford. My hair was very brittle at the time and I was losing a lot in the wash! After one use I noticed a difference and within a couple of uses, my hair was nearly back to it's normal strength and none in the plug hole.

Quality products with Amazing results
Bought this as a gift, my friend was thrilled with the result. I have bought X2 for myself since. All the hair products are amazing. I have strong, frizzy, course dry hair and these products have given me the best results. It's so nice to finally have soft hair.

I have purchased this a couple of times when it is on offer. I leave it on for the hour and my hair always feels super soft afterwards. It's part of my pamper regime now. Hair deserves some love too.

Great Products ‘but’ Royal Mail !!
My wife’s order was placed just before the coronations so the long weekend got in the way of a speedy delivery.
The products arrived inside the 5 working day delivery target … just. My wife is very happy with the products she purchased …
However, the Royal Mail ‘tracking facility’ just didn’t work with NO update and NO estimate as to when the delivery would take place … appalling, and similar to that we’ve experienced before with other items from other courier companies.
My recommendation to Liz Earle is that you find and choose a different delivery courier which has a process that works, and provides meaningful delivery status and monitoring …

The best hair mask !
I bought this for the first time in the autumn and noticed a real difference in my hair that had just been chemically treated . My hairdresser kept telling me how good the condition of my hair was! When it ran out I couldn’t get it for a while in Boots or John Lewis so had to go without for a while . I noticed that my hair’s condition was not as good . Luckily I looked at the Liz Earle website and it was available and on offer . I received it alongside my other products within a couple of days and it was beautifully packaged too . The condition of my hair is improving thanks to this miracle mask ! Thank you Liz Earle and please bring back the botanical shine hair oil !

Can this be used as daily conditioner

We can confirm that our Botanical Shine Deep Conditioning Hair and Scalp Mask has not been tested as an everyday conditioner, where this is a rich deep conditioning treatment designed to be used 1-2 times a week only.
We would recommend after shampooing, working into the roots and ends of hair and gently massage the scalp, leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse out with warm water.
Alternatively, if your hair and scalp need extra nourishment and for enhanced results, apply to clean, damp hair and leave on for 1 hour before rinsing.

Can mask be used as pre shampoo on damp hair?

Our Botanical Shine Deep Conditioning Hair & Scalp Mask is a hydrating, nourishing treatment for hair and scalp. This can be used 2 - 3 times a week, by applying to clean, wet hair (after shampooing) This can be left on for up to 60 minutes.

Can you leave this mask on overnight

This has not been tested to leave on overnight. I love this hair mask but I’m sure I’m using too much so a guide to amount to apply would be welcomed. There are no guidelines on the pot.

It would really depend on the length and thickness of your hair, however, we recommend working this into the roots and ends of hair and gently massage the scalp.

How effective is this as a scalp treatment? What ingredient is active as a scalp treatment?

Our Botanical Shine Deep Conditioning Hair & Scalp Mask contains a number of ingredients which help to nourish hair and scalp. However, the Kalahari Melon Oil has excellent emoillient and conditioning properties, this also contains high levels of Omega-6 and has traditionally been used to soften and moisturise skin and hair. It might help you to know, that a full ingredients list for each of our products can be found on our website.
As with all our products, we would recommend that you carry out a patch test first.
