Our non-comedogenic formula delivers SPF 25 broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays, blue light and pollution while enhancing skin's natural defence barrier.
Enriched with a priming, light reflecting pigment that blends with all skin tones, plus blueberry seed oil, lingonberry seed oil and shea butter, skin is left looking healthy and luminous.

BLUEBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium myrtillus)
High in potent antioxidants, we use blueberry seed oil in our Environmental Defence Cream SPF 25, as it helps the cream work as a natural shield against blue light. Thanks to its high fatty acid composition, it also supports skin’s natural moisture barrier, resulting in hydrated and nourished skin. Sustainably sourced and produced; we extract this ingredient from 100% upcycled blueberries – a waste product of the juice production industry.
LINGONBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium vitis-idaea)
Known to be a powerful antioxidant with a reputation as a health-promoting superfruit, we use lingonberry seed oil in our Environmental Defence Cream SPF 25, as it helps the cream work as a natural shield against blue light. This botanical is also known for its conditioning properties and for helping boost skin’s natural moisture barrier. We source these wild self-sustainable berries from Finland and Sweden.
SHEA BUTTER
(Butyrospermum parkii)
Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help improve the barrier function of the skin, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.

The best facial spf
I bought this spf after falling in love with the lavender cleanser and repairing night cream. I suffer with acne rosacea and spfs usually aggravate my skin, but this is great. It’s non greasy and the tint really flatters my skin tone. I will definitely purchase again.

Got this product 2 weeks ago and so far I’m very impressed. It is easy to apply and is quickly absorbed. Colour helps to even out the skin tone. Not sure about the sun protection as we haven’t had any for a while.

Lovely Cream
Used it several times now and its really easy to use However it does feel a bit greasy on the skin but maybe that's how it should be.. I love the idea of having it tinted as I have fair skin so it gives just that bit of colour. all in all very pleased with my purchase

Surprised at this product
I have in the last couple of months returned to using Liz Earle products following about 12 months with a French companies products.
I like the eco part of Liz Earle and as someone with
sensitive skin I am pleased to be back supporting a British Company.
I bought the environmental Defence Cream SP 25 thinking it would help with keeping the harmful suns rays away from my pale complexion. Howe delighted I was to find that the cream contained a tint which blended with my skin and I only needed a little for my usual foundation to cover blemishes.

A make up staple
I’ve relied on this product for a long time.
It’s brilliant because there is nothing else like it - I don’t use a primer or a foundation, just this. Better coverage than a tinted moisturiser, lighter than a foundation but with vital sun protection. What’s not to love?

Not the product for me
I don't know if it protects from sun because there hasn't been any for me to see if I end up scorched!
However, it's not a repeat buy for me. It doesn't sit nicely on my skin. It sits in wrinkles making them look worse, or looks way to glossy or patchy. I've tried different methods and amounts of application based on replies to other feedback, but nothing provides what I need.
I always extend face cream down to neck and decolletage. The tint in this product then gets on my clothes.
Makes me look drier and more aged than before. Will use it up for the sake of the presumed UVA UVB protection.
If Liz Earle had an untinted product that you simply put on your face without any special technique, then I would swap it out.
I'm using alongside a Liz Earle glow cleanse, tone, moisturise process and had overall hoped for better results that I am not getting. Cheaper brands have had better results on my skin, but they are not the non toxic. I respect the Liz Earle ethic and the products were recommended by a friend, so they must work great for some people.

Lovely base , perfect for no make up days
Wanted to incorporated spf into my routine and thought I would try this. It has a lovely moisturising feeling and given the slight tint gives my skin a nice fresh look, works great on its own or under foundation, I think this will be a stable in my routine

Love this cream sunblock

Just what I needed
I've been searching for ages for a product that would help protect my skin from blue light damage as a result of using screens and sitting under LED lights at home and at work. This cream reduces the heat, redness and pigmentation that appears in those situations. I have pale skin and despite being tinted it blends easily into my skin and behaves like a tinted moisturizer without leaving any cast. I reapply it every 2 hours to top it up. I can't be without it please can we have a bigger size ??!

At last an SPF I can use with Superskin
I'm 51 and a superskin girl but need to use an SPF 365 days a year as I have pigmentation. This has a lovely tint to it which is nice on a non-foundation day.
Glides on easily over my superskin moisturiser.

Our easily absorbed fluid contains SPF25 that protects your skin against UV, blue light and pollution without harming the planet, suitable for all skin types and tones through a mineral formulation. This primes and protects for visibly healthy-looking skin.
You may find that you don't need to use a primer alongside this however, should you wish to continue using a primer, this should be applied before our Environmental Defence Cream SPF25.

Why does your suncream contain Titanium Dioxide, if it is banned all over European countries in food,causing lung cancers in animals and humans ?.

Why does this product( the environmental defence cream) need moisturiser on first ? I just want to put moisturiser on that has SPF in it - every other company seems to manage this.

As our moisturisers can be used both morning and evening, we have chosen not to include SPF as this is not required in the evening.
We would recommend applying this after your moisturiser to ensure your skin is fully mosturised so the product melts nicely into the skin.
