Liz Earle gel mask
Seems OK as only used once. Not irritating. There's no fragrance which would have made it seem more like a spa product.

Gift
This was part of a gift for my daughter. I have used the product myself so know how good it is and how nice it makes the skin feel. Highly recommend.

Liz Earl Gel Mask
This gel felt good when I put it on but I have found no visible difference at all. I have used this a few times now but think it’s not for me. Will not buy again.

Relief after wearing a face mask all day
I work in a laboratory and therefore have to wear fluid resistant masks all day. This has resulted in breakouts across my chin and jawline. I read the reviews for the gel mask and gave it a try and honestly I woke up after the first application and my spots had diminished to almost nothing! Now I use it after hot cloth cleanser and toner if I have a few breakouts and it instantly has a huge impact. A little also goes a long way so well worth the price. Couldn’t be happier.

Hyperpigmentation/ break outs
Will this help with breakouts/ evening hyperpigmentation?
Hi there, thanks for sending over your question.
Our Balancing Gel Mask has not been specifically developed for use against break outs or pigmentation.
The best mask for break outs is our Deep Cleansing Mask, this purifies and regulates oiliness to leave the skin looking clean, clear and balanced.
When it comes to pigmentation, you can't prevent this condition but you can lessen the effect by using sunscreen at all times - even on cloudy days - and staying out of the sun whenever possible.
Rosehip oil has visibly regenerative properties. It’s the most effective plant oil for skin repair and restoration. Clinical studies have proven its ability to soften scars, reduce 'age' pigmentation spots and patches and improve the appearance of fine surface lines. Our Superskin Concentrate for night contains rosehip oil and could help to improve the appearance of pigmentation over a period of time. - The Liz Earle Beauty Co. Team.

Do you use this on wet or dry skin?
Hi there! We recommend to smooth a pea-sized amount over face and neck avoiding the eye area, whilst the skin is dry, and leave for 5 minutes. No need to massage! Remove after this time with a pure cotton cloth. Best used after exfoliation. - The Liz Earle Naturally Active Team.

Is it likely to sting sensitive skin?
I have sensitive skin and a tiny patch of dermatitis, it's also combination I would say. I was wondering if this would be likely to sting? Thank you.
Hi, I've only just seen this and realise your question was some months ago - but yes, I did find this product to be stinging on my sensitive skin.

Gel Mask/Deep Cleansing Gel Mask
Hi, I've recently changed my contraceptive hormones and my skin has done a complete 180. It used to be balanced and non-greasy but since my medication has changed, my forehead and nose are a complete oil slick and it's driving me nuts! Can these two masks be used in conjunction with each other or should they be alternated? Any advice would be gratefully received.
Many thanks!
Sam
Thanks for getting in touch. We'd recommend using our Balancing Gel Mask and Deep Cleansing Mask on alternate days, these should not be used together. The White Clay in our Deep Cleansing Mask will really help to clear up any impurities, and our Balancing Gel Mask really helps to re-balance your skin. You might also like to try our Gentle Face Exfoliator, as this will really help to keep your pores clean and clear. To achieve best results from your mask, we'd recommend using an exfoliator first. As with all our products, please do patch test first. I hope this helps - The Liz Earle Beauty Co. Team

Are these products safe during pregnancy please?I have tried to add the new 'Balancing Gel Mask' to my product enquiry but I could not see it listed?
Think you'd best call customer services with any pregnancy related queries.

Can you use the gentle face exfoliation, then the balancing gel mask, then supers kin moisturiser?
Personally I wouldn't I would rather exfoliate one day then use the mask the next but yes use your moisturiser after.

Will the product increase breakouts in combination/oily skin?
It shouldn't cause any breakouts after use. I've been using the gel mask since it came out and haven't found any issues using it on my normal/combination skin

is the new gel mask suitable for over 65s?
I'm almost at your age and despite having combination skin which shouldn't normally cause any problems I also have some sensitivity problems too but I can honestly say that using the mask 3 times a week isn't causing my skin to react so you should be fine using this wonderful soothing, hydrating mask. Hope that's of some use to you.
