POMEGRANATE FLOWER EXTRACT
(Punica granatum)
With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers.
CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.

Perfect moisturiser
For the past two years I have been using a cheaper brand of moisturiser (£14 - 100 ml) and was very happy; thought there’s no reason to buy a more expensive moisturiser. But, then I treated myself to Superskin Moisturiser. I won’t be going back to the other brand. My skin feels so hydrated. It lasts all day and I put it on last thing at night too so wake up with my skin feeling plump and moisturised. It’s a great base for makeup - my foundation goes on smoothly. I like the neroli smell but if you’re sensitive to product smells there is a fragrant free alternative. The Liz Earle website always has good offers so this is one product (as well as my favourite body wash) that I’ll be sticking to as the offers make it more affordable for me. A little goes a long way too.

Excellent product

Moisturiser with neroli
Been using the moisturiser with neroli for over a year now and it has improved the elasticity lines and brightness of my skin. I get so many good comments on how fab my skin is at 63 yrs old. Well worth purchasing

Is it SPF 50

We've chosen not to include SPF in our Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in Moisturiser, as this product can be used both morning and night, and SPF is not required overnight.
We do have our Environmental Defence Cream - SPF25. This provides UVA and UVB protection, and protects against blue light and pollutants, whilst enhancing the skin's natural defence barrier.
All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible; however, we would always recommend you carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use (behind the ear is ideal in this instance). Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point during use - then you should immediately discontinue use and we would not recommend use of that particular product.

Suitable for sensitive reactve rosacea

All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. I have to be careful with sun exposure. Wondering why there is no sun protection included within this product like other manufacturers. Having to put moisturiser and sun protection and then makeup is often too much
Skin products containing SPF do not give nearly as much protection as when applying a dun cream directly to skin which is a safer option.

Does the superskin sensitive moisturiser have an spf included in its formulation?

It is such a shame I have never thought to check as I would have thought that such a good top brand would some, even the minimum SPF in as it is not cheap.
With the way the climate is going it would be wise to hightlight or mention that the products do not not contain this protection.
I have been using LE products (all facial) for the last 20 years and have been using skin products for the last 8 years if not more. I really do love them and will need to add in my own SPF cover.

Hi I'm noticing lately that you have changed some of the ingredients in certain products. I'm just wondering if you have changed anything about the superkin moisturiser?
It has changed. I have both 'on the go' and they aren't the same. Why companies insist things haven't changed when the consumer knows they have is beyond me. Maybe the actual ingredients list is the same but in the way the Morcambe and Wise sketch observed " I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order" perhaps the way in which the ingredients have been processed is different? I have no idea, but I agree it isn't the same. Neither is the C&P. I had a proper allergic reaction to the new C&P when I ran out of my old stock over a year ago. Old stock, no problem, new version: a bright red and itchy face!

Is this suitable for mature combination skin with occasional breakouts please?
I would say yes! I’ve been using this moisturiser for at least a decade as it is more moisturising for my skin as I entered my 50’s. I use it both day and at night (with an oil serum) and wouldn’t use anything else :)

I am 66 and have normal skin. Which moisturiser would be best for me to use at night?
I am also 66 and have used Superskin Moisturiser ever since it was launched morning and night. I also use the Superskin eye cream morning and evening. Twice or three times a week I used Superskin Alt Retinol Skin Paste at night instead of the moisturiser. Recently a dermatologist I saw about a mole (luckily nothing to be concerned about) commented that my skin was in excellent condition for 66 and to continue using the products I do. When pressed for anything else I could use her comment was to use a vitamin C serum.
