About this moisturiser

For 72 hours of intensive hydration. Offering 72 hours of intensive hydration, this rich, plant-powered moisturiser locks in moisture and deeply hydrates to restore balance to skin when it feels dry or stressed.

 

With a luxuriously creamy texture, this moisturiser is enriched with nourishing shea butter sustainably sourced in partnership with the Global Shea Alliance to intensely replenish, alongside a blend of moisturising borage oil, avocado oil to smooth and soften, soothing echinacea and toning hops.
 

After use, skin feels soothed, comforted and glows with natural radiance.

(Persea gratissima)

Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.

Borage

BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)

Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

Echinacea

ECHINACEA EXTRACT
(Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea)

Used for its toning and conditioning properties, Echinacea is native to North America. We source our skin-smoothing extract from within the United Kingdom, where the plant is harvested in July and August before the ingredient is extracted and micro-filtered from the flowers, leaves and stem.

Hops

HOPS EXTRACT
(Humulus lupulus)

Used for its mild astringent properties, we source our hops from the United Kingdom and Germany, where the leafy green hop strobiles are harvested in August and September before they are fully ripe. The strobiles are then dried in the shade before being extracted to create our ingredient.

All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use. Has the skin repair changed? My recent purchase doesn't seem as nice as my last tube & it seems thinner & my skin is drier than it used to be. It is so annoying when a product you find perfect is suddenly changed!

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. We can confirm that there have been no changes made to our Skin Repair Rich Cream since it's launch in March 2020. Sometimes, due to differing harvesting methods, locations and seasons affecting the natural plant oils and botanicals we use, these can occasionally have an impact on the colour, aroma or texture of a formulation. This should only be very minimal though and does not affect the performance of the product. If the product was purchased with us direct, we would like to remind you of our great 60 day returns policy should you wish to return this to us. Are any of your moisturisers vegan?

Is this suitable for very sensitive skin with rosacea?

Whilst we do have a number of customers who suffer with particularly sensitive skin and skin conditions such as acne rosacea, unfortunately there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use. The only products in our range we would generally advise caution in using on very sensitive skin, or skin that is prone to flushing or redness, are our Brightening Treatment Mask, Gentle Face Exfoliator, Brightening Botanical Drops and Deep Cleansing Mask, due to the stimulating nature of these products.
