For 72 hours of intensive hydration. Offering 72 hours of intensive hydration, this rich, plant-powered moisturiser locks in moisture and deeply hydrates to restore balance to skin when it feels dry or stressed.

 

With a luxuriously creamy texture, this moisturiser is enriched with nourishing shea butter sustainably sourced in partnership with the Global Shea Alliance to intensely replenish, alongside a blend of moisturising borage oil, avocado oil to smooth and soften, soothing echinacea and toning hops.

(Persea gratissima)

Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.

Borage

BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)

Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

Echinacea

ECHINACEA EXTRACT
(Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea)

Used for its toning and conditioning properties, Echinacea is native to North America. We source our skin-smoothing extract from within the United Kingdom, where the plant is harvested in July and August before the ingredient is extracted and micro-filtered from the flowers, leaves and stem.

Hops

HOPS EXTRACT
(Humulus lupulus)

Used for its mild astringent properties, we source our hops from the United Kingdom and Germany, where the leafy green hop strobiles are harvested in August and September before they are fully ripe. The strobiles are then dried in the shade before being extracted to create our ingredient.

I used to use the light in the summer and the rich in the winter but as I'm in my menopausal years I find the rich is perfect for me. I love how soft it makes my face. The feel of a hydrated skin not pulled and dry. I've used liz earle since 1996!!

I have very dry sensitive skin prone to eczema around the eyes and jaw line. Is this cream suitable or would the super skin sensitive be a better option for me?

While we do have a number of customers with skin conditions such as eczema commenting positive results, our products are not intended for medical use, and there are no guarantees our range will suit everyone, as we don’t know what ingredients your skin may be sensitive to. All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible and as a general precaution we would always recommend you carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. What is the shelf life of unopened moisturizer?

I sometimes buy 3 jars when they're on special offer and I might not open the last one for up to a year, then it'll last me a couple of months with no loss of quality. Hope this helps.

Why do your moisturisers not contain spf? I want to start using your range, but am disappointed I would need to buy so many products (cleaner, toner, day moisturiser, night moisturister) as well as spf to go on top!

Hi, thank you for your question. We can confirm that all our moisturisers do not contain SPF, this is so they can be used both during the day and at night, where skin does not require SPF coverage at night. We are also ware that many of our customers with sensitive skin find SPF material in their moisturisers to be irritating to their skin, so we have tried to make our moisturisers inclusive as possible by being suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. Finally, where skin requires a constant level of protection, SPF products should ideally be re-applied every couple of hours, and we have created a skincare product called Environmental Defence Cream to be better suited where this has been designed to be the very last step within your skincare routine. Is the Skin Repair Rich Cream non-comodegenic? My skin is dry but acne-prone.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. With the exception of our Environmental Defence Cream SPF25, none of the products in the Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare range have been tested for comedogenicity. However we believe that the primary ingredient that would cause a product to be comedogenic (and therefore block the pores) is mineral oil and this is not something that is used in our range, as we believe that plant oils are better for the skin. Hi there, I've used Liz Earle for years, and am delighted you're delivering to Australia again. I use "Cleanse and Polish" which you have thankfully. I also use "Skin Repair Moisturiser" for Dry skin - and am wondering which cream is equivalent to this?

Whilst we do have a number of customers who suffer with particularly sensitive skin and skin conditions such as acne rosacea, unfortunately there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use. Has the skin repair changed? My recent purchase doesn't seem as nice as my last tube & it seems thinner & my skin is drier than it used to be. It is so annoying when a product you find perfect is suddenly changed!

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. We can confirm that there have been no changes made to our Skin Repair Rich Cream since it's launch in March 2020. Sometimes, due to differing harvesting methods, locations and seasons affecting the natural plant oils and botanicals we use, these can occasionally have an impact on the colour, aroma or texture of a formulation. This should only be very minimal though and does not affect the performance of the product. If the product was purchased with us direct, we would like to remind you of our great 60 day returns policy should you wish to return this to us.
