Soft and silky

Advanced cleanser
I started using this 2 weeks ago and am really happy with the results so far. Easy to apply each each by warming a little in my hands and gentle stroking onto the face abd neck before removing with the soft towel provided. It left my skin soft and clean and looking really supple. The only slight drawback is you can't remove eye makeup with it so still need to use Cleanse and Polish too.

Feels like a treat in a jar
Love this cleansing balm. Feels so nice when I wash my face with it. Feel like it is getting deep into the skin and cleaning the day away. I follow it with the glow cleanser and feel like my skin looks glowy and well.

Another great cleanser!!
First time using today as my skin as gone quite dry so thought I would try this for a change. It’s gorgeous.. my skin definitely felt hydrated along with the superskin in serum moisturiser and obviously the all time favourite tonic! So glad LE reverted back to the original version of this.
Would like to see more cloths available to buy separately please as this was also a particularly added bonus to the balm! Totally different from C&P with the muslin cloths ..

A lovely product to use, gentle on your skin but still deeply nourishing. It doesn't dry your skin out and is the perfect start to your skincare routine. The only disadvantage is that it's not great for using around the eyes but that's easily worked around for the other benefits it brings.

A delight to use, A home Spa Treat.
This balm is beautiful to use as a cleanser and also left on as a mask. I have tried several other balms from different brands but this one is not overpowering in its smell or texture and its very easy to apply.I have found that it leaves my skin soft and not dry and there is a plumpness to it.

A real treat for your skin

A bit richer for the winter … perfect
I got this a few weeks ago to try it as something a bit richer for when the weather is cold and my skin dries a bit. It smells lovely, very “spa” vibes. The little flannel is lovely and I use that instead of the cotton cloths all the time now. I’m nearing the end of the jar and the bottom layer feels like it’s a bit more lumpy, maybe because the volume has gone? But as it melts into your skin as you massage it around your face, it’s fine and still usable. I don’t use it every day, maybe 2-3 times a week, and then I use the usual hot cloth cleanser the other days so it’s lasted ages. I have another one in the cupboard to use, so that confirms I like it. And of course that means a new little flannel too. Please make the flannels Liz Earle. They’d definitely sell!

The best cleansing balm I have ever tried!
This is such a good cleanser. I just love the feel of the balm on my face. have quite sensitive eyes but this balm simply melts away my mascara and makeup. It is so moisturising, it does not leave your skin feeling tight when cleansed. I would highly recommend this product.

I usually use Hot Cloth Cleanser but do like a balm cleanser and only just noticed Liz Earl make one. Really impressed, you do only need a pea sized amount to thoroughly cleanse your face.I know the choice of Polish or balm is going to be debated every time I take my makeup off x

Beautiful cleaning balm. Used a few other brand that sell a similar product and this is by far the best. Melts into your hands that’s make is easy to massage into skin. Leaves skin soft and the blend of essential oils is soothing to my premenopausal skin.

Great ingredients that really feed my skin
This cleansing balm is a fabulous product . I massage into my skin and leave a while before cleaning off as I feel the properties really penetrate through the dryness of my skin leaving it soft and more supple . The towelling cloth it comes with is also super for getting makeup off without rubbing . I shall certainly be ordering more of this product. Really good for mature / dry skin .

Does moisturiser have spf

We can confirm that none of our moisturisers contain SPF, this is so they can be used both am and pm (with no sun at night there’s no need to use an SPF). It’s important to protect your skin daily with an SPF and we offer our Environmental Defence Cream, SPF25 to protect the skin against UVA/B rays, blue light rays and pollution.

Does this help with dry / sensitive skin? Cleanse & polish work for me, it agitates my skin. my skin feels wind burnt, tight, uncomfortable, it’s not patchy, it looks pretty good, but it feels horrible. I’ve just turned 50 so I need more hydration. SOS.

We do make all our formulations as mild and gentle as possible, so they can be used by those with even the most sensitive skin. However, we are aware that some people can react to even the most gentle ingredients, in the same way we can react to certain food types, so always recommend a patch test when using any product for the first time.
Our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm is suitable for all skin types, but this is perfect for mature or, collagen-depleted skin. Due to the rich consistency, this could be comforting and nourishing for dry skin.

I think you certainly can, personally I prefer to use C&P in the evening to remove all the grim of the day off but nothing stopping you using the balm in the evening, it does have a lovely relaxing type of scent

How often can you use the cleansing balm with my other liz Earle skin products
Fantastic product, I use it practically every day! I am unable to use most other brands on my skin (as I have quite sensitive skin), but Liz Earle products are just an angels touch on my skin all my friends comment on how great my skin looks for my 60yrs!! Go for it !

Our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm helps skin regain the look of youthful volume in one ultra-nourishing cleanse, this can be used to cleanse the skin morning and night. The cleansing balm gently removes waterproof makeup, SPF and impurities whilst boosting moisture to reveal instantly plumper, smoother looking skin.
This product was tested for use on and around the eyes to remove makeup and was shown that it was safe for this use. There is a safety warning on the side of the product regarding use around the eyes, however this refers to if the product gets inside the eye.

Hi is this cleansing balm suitable for sensitive skin? I have excema prone skin usually under control, I also have some allergies at times of stress. I have used a whole pot of the cleansing balm and recently had a kin reaction and unsure what it is from!

Whilst we do have a number of customers who suffer with particularly sensitive skin and skin conditions such as eczema unfortunately, there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. It would be difficult for us to recommend any products from our range, as we don't know which ingredients your skin may be sensitive to.
We can confirm that all of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation, or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use.
