Lovely balm
Unlike other brands of balm I've used this one is much softer and easier to use. A little goes a long way. It removes all grime and make-up, leaving skin soft and clean. It also has a subtle earthy smell. I really like it and it's cheaper than my other usual brand.

Luxurious Cream
I have been using this cream for 3 months now & I love the feel of my skin. It is a rich & beautifully smelling cream & wonderful to use on my pre menopause skin. At times I’ve been staying with my 92 year old mum & she helps herself to this cream & I can see an improvement in her skin brightness too!! I would highly recommend this cream & any other LE product that supports skin wellbeing.

Lovely cleanser

Superskin Cleansing balm
I bought this three weeks ago. Initially my skin felt a bit dry after using but that has now settled. I do like how my skin feels , you do need to take time to remove the balm properly. The cleansing cloth provided really felt too rough so I prefer the muslin cloths

Nourishing treat
Have used balm cleansers in other brands and when this was on a special promotion decided to try. I enjoyed using it and felt it did a good job of cleansing and nourishing at the same time. Skin felt supple, never dry. Really liked the quality cloth that was included too.

Unbelievable!!
So I've been using Liz Earle since the age of 24 and I am now 50. My skin is very good (as I would expect) but it can be prone to itchiness if a product is too fragrant for it. However, I am absolutely blown away by this cleansing balm!! I honestly thought nothing would take the place of Cleanse & Polish EVER but this balm is incredible. I've decided to slot it into my daily routine in the evenings so I'm still using C&P in a morning. I've been using the balm for approximately 3 weeks now & I cannot begin to tell you how amazing my skin looks after using it. It literally glows and looks so healthy. I was worried that it may be too much for my skin and end up itching, but not at all. Clearly my skin loves it! The balm itself smells amazing and I absolutely love the texture of it as well. It just glides over the skin, removes make up so easily and then the finishing touch of wiping it off with the cloth is purely heavenly. Thank you LE for an unbelievable product at a wonderful price as well. PLEASE don't ever stop producing it!!...

Love at first touch.
Having been a C&P girl since 1996 I didn't think there was a cleanser that would top this. Menopause has depleted the collagen cushion on my face so decided to try the cleansing balm. Oh my days....love at first touch ( and application). This is so luxurious, powerful but gentle. ( Love the cloth with it). I've slotted it into my routine at night double cleansing with the balm and C&P and just the balm in the morning. Love the LE glow it provides. My only advice is you only need a small amount... guess that makes it economical too. A cracking powerhouse in a pot!!

Beautiful product
I bought this a month ago as I was having problems with my skin .I am 62 and have always used Cleanse and Polish so have no wrinkles but I was noticing my skin had started to feel a little dry . I ordered this as I thought a balm might help.It certainly did ! I now have 2 new pots of this waiting for when I run out , it’s absolutely beautiful, doesn’t sting the eyes and my face and neck look and feel so much better. My skin is the best it has ever been and feels plump after using this .Would not be without it now.

Not impressed - needs some refinement!
Whilst the product itself is very silky smooth, and leaves skin moisturised, once opened the texture of the 'cream' changes, and part crystalises. The cream part solidifies, which being a slippery cream are hard to break down to use. Liz Earle need to do some further product testing to avoid this happening. It is on the expensive side, and I would have thought this should have been resolved before coming onto the market.

My skin was looking dull and greasy and so I decided to change up my whole skincare regime. I bought this cleansing balm 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. A little bit goes a long way and it melts makeup away. It smells great too and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or dry. Love it

I’ve been using Liz Earle for nearly 20 years, my skin has changed as I’ve aged now mid forties I need something extra and this was it! So glad I upgraded my skin has gone from dry and problematic due to hormones to the glowing healthy look I had using Liz Earle in my thirties!

Silky skin
Wow!! What can I say about this product. The beautiful smells, the silky texture when applying on the skin is just pure luxury, once washed off you are still left with that soft silky feel. My skin feels indulged. I like to use this at night time to get the benefits over night. A really beautiful product and can't wait to order another one. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I’ve been using Liz Earle and their fantastic products for a lot of years. So splashed out and bought this cleansing balm.
I love the cleanse and polish and especially the cleanse and glow cleansers but unfortunately I dislike this. The texture is luxurious but I find it very oily to remove I have to double cleanse as it leaves an oily residue even with a hot cloth. Smell isn’t that great. Its price is too high for what it is as it’s not a patch on the Elemis. Great idea but needs some refinement. I won’t purchase again

A step up from Cleanse and Polish
I've used Cleanse and Polish - the original - for years now. But I love the superskin serums and moisturisers so I decided to make the change. It's just fab! I love the smell, the consistency of the balm and the its ability to take off even the most stubborn mascara.

How often can you use the cleansing balm with my other liz Earle skin products
Fantastic product, I use it practically every day! I am unable to use most other brands on my skin (as I have quite sensitive skin), but Liz Earle products are just an angels touch on my skin all my friends comment on how great my skin looks for my 60yrs!! Go for it !

Our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm helps skin regain the look of youthful volume in one ultra-nourishing cleanse, this can be used to cleanse the skin morning and night. The cleansing balm gently removes waterproof makeup, SPF and impurities whilst boosting moisture to reveal instantly plumper, smoother looking skin.
This product was tested for use on and around the eyes to remove makeup and was shown that it was safe for this use. There is a safety warning on the side of the product regarding use around the eyes, however this refers to if the product gets inside the eye.

Hi is this cleansing balm suitable for sensitive skin? I have excema prone skin usually under control, I also have some allergies at times of stress. I have used a whole pot of the cleansing balm and recently had a kin reaction and unsure what it is from!

Whilst we do have a number of customers who suffer with particularly sensitive skin and skin conditions such as eczema unfortunately, there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. It would be difficult for us to recommend any products from our range, as we don't know which ingredients your skin may be sensitive to.
We can confirm that all of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation, or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use.

Do you use this instead of cleanse or polish? Or before?
I cleanse with cleanse and polish to remove all impurities and then I put the balm on after to give my skin a boost of goodness like a wonderbalm

I notice the cleansing balm was only tested on 113 women, is this product not suitable for men, maybe missing a trick, as I've bed using cleanse and polish for some years. Terry

We would recommend removing our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm with the white toweling cloth provided, to ensure that all product, daily grime, makeup and SPF is thoroughly removed from the skin. The skin can then be rinsed with warm water.
