CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.
ACACIA TREE EXTRACT
(Acacia senegal)
A plant based alternative collagen from the acacia tree – mimics the benefits of collagen to leave skin looking firmer, plumper and moisturised.
ROSEHIP SEED OIL
(Rosa rubiginosa)
Famous for its excellent moisturising properties, rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps enhance the barrier function of the skin while improving moisture retention.

My favourite Cleansing Balm
I have been using this Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm since its launch and I love it. The Superskin range was always excellent but now with this addition it is even better. It keeps my mature skin clean, soft and hydrated and it works so well with the cotton terry flannel provided. Love it all.

Such a joy to use
A little goes a long way ! It’s a great product to us on my dry skin. I usually apply it and do a few things before washing off it leaves my skin hydrated. Clean and supple
Just what a woman of my age needs.
Used to use a more expensive brand but I will stick with this now. My mother introduced me to liz earl many years ago and it is a must in my bathroom always.

Amazing Cleansing Balm
I love Liz Earle products & this cleansing balm is amazing! I use it in the evenings as I use Cleanse & Polish in the morning & I couldn't give this up. This cleanser is very rich so you only need to use a small amount & when you warm it between your hands it turns into a lovely silky balm. I use the cloth which is included to remove the cleanser & then rinse with warm water. My skin can be sensitive to products but after using this for a few weeks now I have had no issues at all. I will continue to use it in the evenings along with the Superskin Moisturiser.

Lovely Product - would recommend
I bought this as it was on offer. I usually use Elemis balm but it is becoming way too expensive. This product is just as nice as the more expensive one and in fact I love the smell more. I also like the fact it comes with a cloth as the other brand have stopped providing them.

Cleaning balm
I have used this for a few month nd love it as an occasional deep cleaner. It is great in keeping my skin clean and refreshed as mark of my cleaning routine.

Hi is this cleansing balm suitable for sensitive skin? I have excema prone skin usually under control, I also have some allergies at times of stress. I have used a whole pot of the cleansing balm and recently had a kin reaction and unsure what it is from!

Whilst we do have a number of customers who suffer with particularly sensitive skin and skin conditions such as eczema unfortunately, there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. It would be difficult for us to recommend any products from our range, as we don't know which ingredients your skin may be sensitive to.
We can confirm that all of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation, or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use.

Do you use this instead of cleanse or polish? Or before?
I cleanse with cleanse and polish to remove all impurities and then I put the balm on after to give my skin a boost of goodness like a wonderbalm

I notice the cleansing balm was only tested on 113 women, is this product not suitable for men, maybe missing a trick, as I've bed using cleanse and polish for some years. Terry

This will gently remove impurities whilst boosting moisture to reveal instantly plumper, smoother looking skin.

Do you have to use a cleansing cloth to remove this cleanser or will rinsing of only be ok? Thank you.

We would recommend removing our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm with the white toweling cloth provided, to ensure that all product, daily grime, makeup and SPF is thoroughly removed from the skin. The skin can then be rinsed with warm water.
