The Skin Repair SPF50 Multi-Defence Moisturiser is scientifically proven to strengthen the moisture barrier while providing broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and protects against environmental aggressors such as pollution and UV rays.
It also helps defend against dehydration and signs of premature ageing, while preventing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and loss of volume, leaving skin looking instantly smooth and plumped.
Our SPF50 Moisturiser is powered by ingredients expertly selected for their efficacy: Edelweiss, buddleia & echinacea, with a plant-based hyaluronic acid. The vegan friendly formula is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Step 1: Dispense a grape-sized amount of Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser into your palm and massage onto dry skin over your face and neck. Dampen a pure cotton cloth in hand-hot water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream.
Step 2: After cleansing, pour a generous amount of Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic onto a cotton pad and sweep over face and neck.
Step 3: Apply moisturiser to cleansed and toned skin, before gently massaging over the face and neck using slow sweeping strokes.

A lovely edition to my skincare routine
For so long I have been looking for skincare products that help keep my skin hydrated and healthy-looking. I absolutely love trying products that fit easily into my skincare routine, and this on caught my eye. I'm particularly interested in the hydration and radiance benefits it gives my skin! With regular use my skin feels and looks so clear and hydrated. A lovely option to explore if you're looking to add something extra to your skincare routine.

Disappointing. Leaves a shiny finish.
This is the ONLY Liz Earle product that I wouldn't recommend to others. I also use Cleanse and Polish, toner, serum and night time moisturiser.
The daytime moisturiser with SPF just smells like suncream (it doesn't have a lovely fragrance like everything else does) and is a runnier consistency. It goes onto my skin fine but then leaves a greasy / shiny finish which takes about an hour to settle. I only apply a VERY light layer.
Overall - I find this product disappointing. Especially because I love everything else so much, and have used Liz Earle consistently for about six years!

Ok. Not as great as other Liz Earle products
I bought this last week (as I use lots of other Liz Earle products including the Cleanse and Polish, Toner, Serum and Night cream - all of which I love) but I've got to say... In comparison, I'm slightly disappointed by this. It smells like normal suncream and leaves a noticeable shine on my skin.
Doesn't smell anywhere near as nice as all my other Liz Earle products, feels heavier and leaves my skin looking shiny (and I only applied a VERY light few dots on cheeks, forehead and chin).

DISAPPOINTING SPF50 SKINCARE CREAM
I bought this cream to go on holiday as I thought a cream with SPF50 would be easier than applying moisturiser and then suncream.I noticed a big difference in the texture and every time I used it my eyes were running and were sore. I've been using all the other skincare products without any problems and I am very disappointed with this cream. My friend recommended Liz Earle skincare and my skin has felt soft and clean since I've been using it. I've now gone back to my usual skin cream and have had no problems once again. I've never had a problem using face creams with SPF before.

I would like to purchase this now, but would like to know how long does it last unopened once purchased and how long does it last once opened?

All our products have been tested in accordance with industry standards and show a minimum shelf life of at least thirty six months. However, many specific environmental factors influence the shelf life of a product, which means that we are unable to confirm for how long your Liz Earle product can be stored unopened once it has been dispatched to you. We would recommend storing any un-opened products in a cool, dark place - in a drawer or cupboard away from a radiator is ideal.
On each of our products you will find the EU standard Period After Opening (PAO) symbol which identifies the 'lifetime' of a product once opened for the first time. It can be used as a guide once your product has been opened. The number inside the image of the pot tells you the number of months of this product's lifetime once opened, for example 9M indicates 9 months.
We can confirm that our Skin Repair SPF50 Multi Defence Moisturiser has a shelf life of 12 months once opened.

Can I use my tinted moisturiser on top off this face cream?

Our Skin Repair SPF50 Multi-Defence Moisturiser will protect skin against UVA/UVB rays, along with defence against blue light and pollution. It also helps defend against dehydration and signs of premature ageing, while preventing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and loss of volume, leaving skin looking instantly smooth and plumped.
As this is a moisturiser with added SPF no additional moisturiser is required.

Does this need re-applying during the day and, if so, how often? Asking because sun cream in general says to re-apply every few hours.

This is suitable for everyday use and protects skin against environmental aggressors such as UVA/UVB rays, along with defence against blue light and pollution. It also helps defend against dehydration and signs of premature ageing, while preventing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and loss of volume, leaving skin looking instantly smooth and plumped.
However, this should not be your primary SPF when sunbathing. It can be used alongside your dedicated sunscreen for additional protection

I have highly sensitive skin and have been diagnosed with rosacea. Because of this I struggle to find SP50 protection that my skin doesn’t react to. Will this be available in fragrance free/no geraniol? For 15 yrs I’ve been using SuperSkin FF moisturiser

Whilst we do have a number of customers with skin conditions such as rosacea or eczema who have shared positive experiences with our products, our skincare products are not intended to treat or manage medical conditions. As everyone's skin is unique, we cannot guarantee that a product will be suitable for every individual or know which ingredients your skin may be sensitive to.
Our Skin Repair SPF50 Multi-Defence Moisturiser is fragranced with a delicate blend featuring notes of rose-scented geranium, bergamot and ylang-ylang, giving it a fresh, sweet floral fragrance. At the moment, we don't have any plans to introduce a fragrance-free version of this product, but we really appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass on your request to our Product Development Team for consideration in the future.
If you were considering trying the product, we would recommend carrying out a patch test first. Apply a small amount behind the ear and leave for 24 hours.
