About this moisturiser

The Skin Repair SPF50 Multi-Defence Moisturiser is scientifically proven to strengthen the moisture barrier while providing broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and protects against environmental aggressors such as pollution and UV rays.

 

 It also helps defend against dehydration and signs of premature ageing, while preventing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and loss of volume, leaving skin looking instantly smooth and plumped.

 

Our SPF50 Moisturiser is powered by ingredients expertly selected for their efficacy: Edelweiss, buddleia & echinacea, with a plant-based hyaluronic acid. The vegan friendly formula is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Step 1: Dispense a grape-sized amount of Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser into your palm and massage onto dry skin over your face and neck. Dampen a pure cotton cloth in hand-hot water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream.

Step 2: After cleansing, pour a generous amount of Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic onto a cotton pad and sweep over face and neck.

Step 3: Apply moisturiser to cleansed and toned skin, before gently massaging over the face and neck using slow sweeping strokes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed! I’ve been using LE for years & am a big fan of the cleanser, toner, eyebright and perfume. The only moisturiser I’ve been able to get on with is the Skin Repair Light. Despite my advanced years - mid 60s! - my skin is anything but dry. I was really pleased to see that a good SPF has been added to a moisturiser but, sadly, this isn’t suitable for me. Even using a minimal amount, my skin still feels greasy 2 hours after application. Even worse, the strong scent is overpowering to the point of making me feel queasy. I will persist in using it because it would be a waste of money not to but I won’t be buying it again.

I would like to purchase this now, but would like to know how long does it last unopened once purchased and how long does it last once opened?

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. All our products have been tested in accordance with industry standards and show a minimum shelf life of at least thirty six months. However, many specific environmental factors influence the shelf life of a product, which means that we are unable to confirm for how long your Liz Earle product can be stored unopened once it has been dispatched to you. We would recommend storing any un-opened products in a cool, dark place - in a drawer or cupboard away from a radiator is ideal. On each of our products you will find the EU standard Period After Opening (PAO) symbol which identifies the 'lifetime' of a product once opened for the first time. It can be used as a guide once your product has been opened. The number inside the image of the pot tells you the number of months of this product's lifetime once opened, for example 9M indicates 9 months. We can confirm that our Skin Repair SPF50 Multi Defence Moisturiser has a shelf life of 12 months once opened. We hope this information helps - The Customer Care Centre Team

Can I use my tinted moisturiser on top off this face cream?

It also helps defend against dehydration and signs of premature ageing, while preventing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and loss of volume, leaving skin looking instantly smooth and plumped. Does this need re-applying during the day and, if so, how often? Asking because sun cream in general says to re-apply every few hours.

This is suitable for everyday use and protects skin against environmental aggressors such as UVA/UVB rays, along with defence against blue light and pollution. It also helps defend against dehydration and signs of premature ageing, while preventing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines and loss of volume, leaving skin looking instantly smooth and plumped. However, this should not be your primary SPF when sunbathing. I have highly sensitive skin and have been diagnosed with rosacea. Because of this I struggle to find SP50 protection that my skin doesn’t react to. Will this be available in fragrance free/no geraniol? For 15 yrs I’ve been using SuperSkin FF moisturiser

As everyone's skin is unique, we cannot guarantee that a product will be suitable for every individual or know which ingredients your skin may be sensitive to. Our Skin Repair SPF50 Multi-Defence Moisturiser is fragranced with a delicate blend featuring notes of rose-scented geranium, bergamot and ylang-ylang, giving it a fresh, sweet floral fragrance.
