PERSIAN SILK TREE EXTRACT
(Albizia julibrissin)
Used for its refreshing and brightening properties, as well as its ability to even skin tone, we source our Persian silk tree from farmers in China, where the bark of the tree is macerated in water to create our extract.
POMEGRANATE FLOWER EXTRACT
(Punica granatum)
With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers..
RHUBARB EXTRACT
(Rheum rhaponticium)

I’ve been using this for a month now and what a fabulous addition to my skincare routine. I noticed a plumper and more youthful appearance after just 2 weeks. You really don’t need to use lots which makes it really good value for money. I am so happy. I would recommend this to everyone.

Too rich for my skin
I bought this product to try, I like the fact it was a cream rather than a serum but found it was too rich for my skin and I broke out in lots of spots, something I have never suffered with. I also didn't like the smell. Unfortunately I won't be buying this product again but will continue to use other Liz Earle products.

Did not suit my skin
Unfortunately had to return. Made my face and eyes sting even though I did not put it any where near my eyes. I did not like the smell and found the neroli fragrance overpowering.

Easy to use.
I have been using this daily for the last 2 weeks and am very pleased. My skin is incredibly dry at the moment and this serum absorbs easily and seems to help my problem. I have been using both the day and night superskin moisturisers for some time.

Wonderful product...
I have been using Liz Earle since 2001, I use the whole range of skin products, this serum is a really good product, but I think people seem to use too much, you only need one pump for one application, my friend was using 3 or 4 pumps, and she complained it didn't last very long. I've been using this many years and I find one pump is sufficient, I had my 80th birthday yesterday, I have plump skin, hardly any wrinkles or crows feet, and no necklace lines. I cleanse morning and night use night concentrate and superskin night cream, with eye cream, I also use eye cream on my top lip, but I do love this serum, would recommend it to anyone.....just a note, I was disappointed when the Leeds salon closed, I had a massage every couple of months, I'm missing them..

Everything good that I remembered
Having stopped using this for a few months (used another brand) I noticed that my skin was not looking as good as it could be so ordered some when on special offer. The first thing I noticed was the lovely smell and secondly how over a week my skin has regained looking good. Note to self - always use this xxx

Feels like a spa treatment!

Nice product, last ages
I bought the Superskin Face Serum because I started reacting to the eye cream (menopause). I find the serum is very light and you really don't need much at all. I apply it around my outer eye area and my lips and I feel it does a lovely job of keeping my skin plumped up. It doesn't feel heavy and absorbs easily.

Love it - but too expensive
I love the serum and have desperately tried to find an alternative at a reasonable price without success. I can’t afford £50 a month just for a serum so I’m having to do without. The recent £10 hike in the price is ridiculous and total out of line with inflation!!

I love this serums because it does not sit on my skin but dissolves into it. Having tried other serums they just sit on my face and feel greasy but not this one plus at 78 it really is plumbing my face a little well I think it is and that’s all that matters. I love all LE products they just suit my body.

Is this to be used morning or evening?
I prefer mornings, so it works all through the day.
I apply right after using the Skin Tonic and just a little, goes a long way.
I interchange between that and the super skin day cream.

Does the serum contain neuroli as that doesn't seem to suit my skin when I've tried moisturiser that has it in, ie superskin moisturiser so now I use the unfragranced one.
As far as I know the serum does not contain any Neroli. The serum I have is in the green bottle. I have been using it for a couple of years and find it suits my skin. At first I was applying daily, but I now use it as and when I feel my skin needs a boost. It feels calming and leaves skin soft and supple.

Our Superskin Face Serum is a lightweight serum that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles after just one use for a radiant, visibly rejuvenated complexion.
This is a water-based serum that is fast absorbing and designed to be applied prior to a moisturiser. We would recommend applying this product before a moisturiser, and then an oil after this if needed. Alternatively, you could apply an oil instead of a moisturiser.

Is the Superskin Face Serum the same formula as the old silver bottle?
I have also noticed a difference in the serum since the updated green packaging. When cross-checking the ingredients there have been changes in the order they are listed plus the addition of soybean oil, possibly why my skin is not as taut after use as it used to be. I have been using LE products for many years.

Should I moisturise after using the serum?
Absolutely, serum should be pressed into the skin or use a roller and then moisturise as normal for best results.
