Your essential first step in both your morning and night skincare routine, followed by your toner and moisturiser. Easy to use, simply follow our step-by-step guide:

STEP 1

Dispense a grape-sized amount of cleanser into your palm.

Massage onto dry skin over your face and neck, finishing over your eye area.

Dampen a pure cotton cloth in hand-hot water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream. Finish by splashing your face with cool water.

COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)

Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.

Rosemary

ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)

Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.

Chamomile

CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)

Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.

I only stopped using Liz Earle when I suffered from inflation of my mortgage/gas & electric etc. As a 75 year old pensioner I was forced into buying only essentials but boy has my skin suffered. People used to comment on my beautiful skin and then it became spotty and bumpy and generally dull and lifeless. Since re introducing Cleanse & Polish my 75 year old skin is returning to its former glory. Thank you Liz Earle.

It removes all make up leaving no trace, including stubborn mascara. I love the ethics of it and just think it is a great all-round product. It is a bit expensive, but I always purchase when there is a deal.

I have been using Liz Earle for over 20 years and I have noticed the texture of the cleanser has changed , have you changed the ingredients ? .

While we can confirm that there have been no recent changes made to the formulation of our Cleanse & Polish, as we rely upon many natural ingredients within our formulations for their wonderful benefits on the skin, our products can vary in aroma or texture from batch to batch. This is often due to the harvesting of plant extracts or essential oils in different seasons or from different locations. Is the cleanse and polish suitable for oily acne prone skin

Suitable for all skin types, our Cleanse & Polish contains eucalyptus and rosemary which gently purifies the skin, ridding it of excess oil without harshly stripping the skin (which causes more oil production). My 14 year old grandson has started to get spots is Cleanse and Polish suitable for him and does he need to use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Cream or is Cleanse and Polish adequate.

Everybody’s skin is different but I do find cleanse and polish cleanser works well to keep my skin clear. I personally feel it works better alongside the tonic and I never skip moisturiser. When the skin is dry, it can produce more oil to try and combat this which can lead to more spots. Liz Earle have a few different moisturisers he could try to see which one works best with his skin type. Hope this helps.

Love this cleanser but could you make smaller bottles that are reusable? They would be great for use when travelling.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Whilst we do have 30ml and 50ml options available for our Cleanse & Polish, a refill system is not something we are looking to introduce. Unfortunately, offering multiuse or refillable packaging is not an option as some of our formulations can be sensitive to light and by changing the container, this opens the formulation to a different environment. Our packaging is primarily developed to protect the product and to provide a quality customer experience. Can cleanse & polish be used by my 11 year old granddaughter. Her skin is becoming greasy

Cleanse and polish balances the oils in the skin.its good for oily skin and also dry patches on the skin. Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised. Cleanse and polishes can be used for any age. Wouldn’t be without it.

Has there recently been a change to the formulation of this or your matching toner? This and the toner used to be so good for sensitive skin but I’m finding it is triggering my eczema when it never used to so wanted to enquire whether you’ve changed it?
