Beautiful finish
From first time on it made my skin glow. I found no pilling and used my LE skin tonic followed by the essence before applying my advanced firming serum in moisturiser then my foundation.

Left a film on the skin
Unfortunately the cream left a film on my face which came off in bits on fingertips. Such a shame however I’ve used this cream without the SPF and it’s fabulous.
Called customer services who are fantastic, they arranged a return of the product and are sending out a replacement of the cream without SPF. 10/10 for customer service.

Rejuvenating
I have certainly noticed a difference in some lines I had along my jawline, they have virtually gone. Skin feels plumped. Only negative point it seems to slightly pile under my foundation. Still going to persevere as I love the texture and the results.

Effective and a pleasure to use
Feels moisturising and nourishing on application. I go on lots of long winter walks so it's convenient that SPF is included in this moisturiser. I have eczema prone skin and, so far, I have had no reaction when using this. My worn and dry winter skin looks glowing right away but can look a bit greasy after using for consecutive days. It would be great if the Skinrepair Moisturisers are also offered with an SPF option. I think this moisturiser would be too heavy for the warmer months. But for the winter months, when my skin is lacklustre after the festive season, it does a great job moisturising, protecting and making my skin look healthy and refreshed.

High quality product
Overall, very impressed with this cream. I’m in my early 50s and use mostly Liz Earle products which keep my skin stable and healthy. I’m not one for make up and like to keep things as natural as possible as, unfortunately, I’m very reactive to all sorts of ingredients. I was excited to try a sun screening cream as I have not yet found one I can tolerate despite a lot of failed experiments. The texture of this cream is superb. It has an unexpected lightness and is easy to apply evenly. I have lopped off a star as my frustrating over sensitivity showed up with redness around my lip edges and eyes despite careful application. (I can smell the tell tale sun cream ingredient in the jar, though it doesn’t linger upon application.) The rest of my face and neck glowed with health! Summary: I am going to persevere as I think it is an excellent product. Hopefully I can find the right tweaks in how I use it to resolve my reaction. It’s certainly the most promising thing I’ve used.

Superskin Glow
I’ve used Liz Earle regularly for years, but as very tired new mum my multi step skincare routine has gone out the window! But I genuinely think this has lifted my skin and it has a healthy glow to it. The weight is still quite light and has a nice feel, which has been good for morning and evening use.

Thank you for your question. Our Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in-Moisturiser is designed to give the benefits and feel of using a serum and a moisturiser in one step. Therefore, a separate serum is not required to see results.
However, if you choose to use one of our serums alongside it, your skin can benefit from an extra boost of targeted, naturally active ingredients that address specific concerns. It really comes down to your skin’s needs and personal routine preference.

Is Octocrylene used as a sunscreen in this product, if so, it’s not good for sensitive skin and has caused me many flare ups with no7 products.

We can confirm that all our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible, and all products are assessed and approved by independent safety experts prior to placing them on the market. However, we are aware that any individual can react to even the most natural of ingredients in the same way as we all can to certain foodstuffs. As everyone’s skin is so very different, what can be suitable for one person may not be suitable for another, so we would recommend carrying out a patch test, when using any product for the first time. We also have a generous 60 day returns policy, should you find any products unsuitable, they can be returned to us for a full refund.
We can confirm that our Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in-Moisturiser SPF20 does contain Octocrylene. We chose a Chemical SPF to follow our commitments to become a more inclusive brand, as a chemical SPF will not leave a white cast on deeper skin tones.

Does the Superskin Advanced range smell the same as the normal Superskin products? I hate the smell of the Superskin range so I’m not sure if I’d like this Advanced range. I’ve been using your normal range products for over 20 years.
