(Persea gratissima)

Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.

(Borago officinalis)

Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

(Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea)

Used for its toning and conditioning properties, Echinacea is native to North America. We source our skin-smoothing extract from within the United Kingdom, where the plant is harvested in July and August before the ingredient is extracted and micro-filtered from the flowers, leaves and stem.

(Humulus lupulus)

Used for its mild astringent properties, we source our hops from the United Kingdom and Germany, where the leafy green hop strobiles are harvested in August and September before they are fully ripe. The strobiles are then dried in the shade before being extracted to create our ingredient.

Aqua (water), Glycerin, Propanediol, Cetearyl alcohol, Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, Shea butter ethyl esters, Borago officinalis seed oil, Glyceryl stearate citrate, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, Humulus lupulus (hops) extract, Echinacea purpurea extract, Sodium polyacrylate, Cetearyl glucoside, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl glycol, Cetyl esters, Parfum (fragrance), Xanthan gum, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, Citric acid, Benzyl salicylate, Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol, Eugenol, Benzoic acid, Dehydroacetic acid, Aspartic acid, Sodium hydroxide, Sodium chloride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels lovely Actually ordered this in error as I meant to get the light cream. Prefer the smell of that one but rich cream feels really good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lovely texture and very handy size tube Very rich and creamy, super for dry skin and a handy travel size. The only downside for me is the fragrance as I do not like to use any face moisturiser which has a fragrance. I therefore use Liz Earle's fabulous unfragranced superskin moisturiser but it does not appear to be available in a travel size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Moisturising cream for daily use A good cream, not as moisturising as I thought it might be. Good to mix with a cream foundation as a daily moisturiser with a little colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trying this product for the first time I have used LE products since 2000 without issue. I have an older dry skin which becomes a little oily by the end of the day so have been using the Dry/sensitive Skin Repair moisturiser for over 20+years (with Superskin moisturiser around my eye area). Having read so many reports of the new Skin Repair moisturisers, with a lot against the new ingredients I was worried about going over to it. I decided to trial the smallest size in case it wasn't for me. However, after a week of using it I am happy to say that my skin has been great, I like the initial smell (a lot don't). It feels slightly heavier as applied but absorbs fine and so I will be continuing to use it. Reviews are a good thing but I am glad that I decided to need to try it for myself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but not as good as the original cream I used the original cream for many years, and absolutely loved it. I was put off by the negative reviews of the revised product and have only just got round to trying it. I must admit it does not smell as nice as the original, nor is it so good. It seems to sit on my skin, rather than instantly soak in. It's ok if you have very dry skin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RUBBISH nasty smelly thick and not a patch on original skin repair dry sensitive this new product does! not even come close to the quality of the original liz earle dry skin repair that ive purchased for years. dont change something that isn't broken and its funny how the reviews automatically go to the one's with 5 stars not the most recent ratings as the reviews are 1 star and lots of people like me are most unhappy, think you should STOP!! PRODUCTION and call it a day!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not at all suitable for even midly senstive skin I dislike writing negative reviews, especially as I have been a loyal and satisfied customer for many years. However, after using and loving the old formula 'skin repair moisturiser' since I can remember first using your products, this new formula has left me with red puffy skin and stings so much that I had to wash it off! I don't even have particularly sensitive skin! Why change a well proven and well loved formula I wonder, unless it is to save money by using cheaper ingredients? It certainly seems like it as the only other time I had this type of reaction was when I used a cheap supermarket brand when I ran out of supplies. I have spoken to customer service and been offered either another product, neither of which are suitable for my skin type and could in all probability give the same reaction, or a partial refund of £17.50 against the price of £23.00? when I send the product back, presumably as I bought it as part of a offer, which I felt was a bit 'nit picky' and not the customer service excellence that I have experienced in the past. Reading other reviews I can see I am not alone and the overall rating of the product is 2.5 stars and 80 one star reviews. This product should at least contain a warning that is 'not suitable for sensitive skin'. I now have the unenviable task of searching out another product, disappointing!
