Naturally active ingredients include moisturising shea butter and rice bran oil, plus black oat seed extract to leave skin feeling soft and soothed. Fragranced with a blend containing pure eucalyptus essential oil, with warm, spicy undertones, to delicately scent the skin.

Skin Replenishing Body Balm
SHEA BUTTER
(Butyrospermum parkii)
Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help improve the barrier function of the skin, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.
RICE BRAN OIL
(Oryza sativa bran oil)
Grown and harvested in Asia, we extract our rice bran oil from the germ and inner husk of rice. High in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it is a renowned for its moisturising properties in skincare.
BLACK OAT SEED EXTRACT
Sourced from Europe, the black oat is an upright plant with many flat leaf blades. Renowned for its unique water retaining properties, the seed extract forms a film of moisture on the skin’s surface, effectively improving hydration levels.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
(Eucalyptus globulus)
Renowned for its purifying properties and invigorating aroma, we source our eucalyptus from China, where our essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the fast-growing eucalyptus tree.

Good body balm
I have used this in the past and it makes a difference to dry skin, leaving it soft. I wanted to purchase the same balm with the neroli scent because this is more uplifting but I could not find this on the Liz Earle website. It is still on the American site strangely enough. I hope it will be reinstated on the British one permanently.

Perhaps a nice balm but with a horrible scent!
I ordered this hoping it would smell as natural and subtle as the hot cloth cleanser and was extremely disappointed. The smell is VERY strong and unpleasant to me. It reminds me both of car freshener and men's aftershave. The consistency seems nice and judging by the ingredients, it's probably a nice body balm. But I had to wash it off after a few minutes as I just couldn't get over the scent. The scent also seems very long lasting, which in my case was unfortunate but if you happen to like it, it is a plus!

Lovely product
I’m a big fan of body butters & cream & over the years have tried a fair few ! I prefer the butter, balm or cream that comes in a pot as it’s easier to use all of it. This balm leaves skin feeling very comfortably refreshed and smells lovely. After a week of using it I notice my skin - particularly on legs which have been under wraps all winter - are smoother. Am working on getting them ready for the warmer weather … so will be buying another pot of this balm when it’s used up.

Is this product gluten free?

We can confirm that our Skin Replenishing Body Balm is not gluten-free, as this contains Black Oat Seed Extract. Apart from our Skin Replenishing Body Balm and our Pro-Biotic Range (Milk Cleanser, Day Cream & Night Cream), our whole range otherwise is free from gluten.

I loved using botanical body cream in blue tube, is the skin replenishing body balm a similar smell?
No unfortunately I’m the same loved botanical body cream for the smell brought this thinking it might be same but it isn’t

Very sad that Botanical body cream in a blue tube has been discontinued. Does the body balm smell the same? Can't risk buying it and being disappointed.

I love this body butter. Is it safe to use when pregnant?

As with all our products, we would recommend that you carry out a patch test first.
