Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Smell/Spots on face This has just arrived and have used it for 3 days. It has the most awful smell so really cannot bear to put it over my face. I have shaken bottle really well and applied using a cosmetic pad but am already coming out with a few spots on face which I haven't had in about 40 years as am 64 now. This product is too oily so will throw this one out unless Liz Earle will refund back to my account. I have used the hot cloth cleanser, toner and super skin moisturiser for years and this is the first product which I will never use again. Perhaps it is my age group that it doesn't suit but the smell is awful too which I am surprised about as all the other products have such a gorgeous aroma to them.

It is extremely oily, even though I have made sure to shake the bottle before applying the bi-phase lotion. It leaves a film on my skin. I am reluctant to discard it, as it was expensive, but I will only use it at night now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Superskin Advanced wasn't Super on my skin. I'm actually disappointed with my Superskin Advanced Moisturer. It feels luvly when it goes on & smells nice. But after half an hour I'm finding white bits all over my face as though it's rolling off. I am confused as to the reason for this. I've used a lot of Liz Earle products & this has never happened before. This is not a complaint, just some feedback. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's easy to use and the cloth is lovely and soft. Ideal as part of a twice a day routine without being harsh. I really notice the difference when I haven't used it for a few days.

Is this suitable for a 16 year old?

While our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm is suitable for all skin types, due to the rich texture, blend of botanicals and essential oils in this formulation, we would recommend this for those with drier or, more mature skin. We would however recommend our Cleanse & Glow Brightening Cleansing Balm which removes make-up, impurities and pore-clogging dirt, leaving skin brighter and smoother. Enriched with naturally active ingredients, including acerola cherry, it helps to leave the complexion looking more radiant. This also contains natural Fruit AHA's which gently exfoliate the skin - loosening and lifting dead skin cells that reveal glowing skin underneath, whilst being packed with antioxidants. Hello. This is a lovely cream and I am on my second pot. However I am just wondering why I have to apply the cream twice to ensure my skin feels moisturised, when it already contains a serum, which should ensure optimum moisturisation?

It may be that the Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in-Moisturiser is not the best match for your skin type. If you use the super skin advanced firming serum in moisturiser would you still need the super skin advanced lift and define serum

No you don’t need to but at certain times of the year when the weather and central heating affect your  skin, could do both for more hydration.

i love this but strugge as to where to fit it in! i usually cleanse& tone then this AND a serum then moisturise but this seems enough. should i cut out the toner? btw ppl - u only need a very tiny bit of this, and you need to shake it well.

I asked this question when purchasing this some long time ago when it was first introduced by Liz Earle. It states on the instructions to use after cleansing but no mention of toning or moisturising which was very unhelpful so I just used it after toning and then moisturised. In my opinion it would be best to only use the serum at night as it seems like too many products for morning use.

I used it daily to remove makeup in the evening and it would replace your normal evening cleanser. You could also use in the morning as well
