Awaken your senses with the first ever fragrance created for our collection. This vibrant, sparkling scent has been lovingly crafted using some of the finest naturally derived ingredients from around the world.

 

This unique fragrance opens with fresh top notes of Italian bergamot, mandarin and bitter orange, unfolding to reveal a heart of lavender, geranium and Damask rose. With a base including spicy patchouli, vetiver and tonka bean absolute, the complex blend of Botanical Essence™ No.1 translates into warmth and sensuality on the skin.

 

Over 98% derived from natural ingredients, Botanical Essence™ No.1 has been skilfully blended by the distinguished perfumer, Jean-Charles Niel in Grasse, France.

 

Top notes: Italian bergamot, mandarin, bitter orange, lemon and cardamom

Heart notes: Geranium, Damask rose, lavender, coriander and nutmeg

Base notes: Cedarwood, vetiver, Tonka bean absolute and patchouli

Renowned for its dreamy, sensual fragrance – a key note in our Botanical Essence™ fine fragrances, we source our Damask roses from a family-run farm in Isparta, Turkey.

Makes me smile every morning and when i need an energy boost or to lift my mood a refresh in the afternoon does just that. No other perfume comes close for me and i wouldn't be without it.

It is worth it’s weight in gold to me….if I am nervous or know I’m going to face something I am worried about, a quick blast of this perfume reminds me I am an elegant woman and I can do anything. The aroma just gives me that confidence boost. Other people notice as they comment how nicely I smell, which makes me feel great. Like I said…..worth every penny!!

It's funny because I was previously always a Liz Earle #15 fan but clearly I have "Matured". This doesn't smell exactly like the Neroli face cream or the cleanse and polish, but it's definitely in that "fresh" realm. Thanks Liz and team :)

It’s not the same anymore- the ingredients are different and not in a good way. It’s like spraying lemon juice and it doesn’t last. I’m so disappointed.

Is this the new No 1 perfume with different ingredients?

Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. We have maintained the current botanicals within our fragrance so that the finish of the scent you know and love remains unchanged. However, we have needed to tweak the parfum of Botanical Essence™ No.1 slightly to comply to updated European regulations. We do have a great 60 day returns policy, should you find any products you purchase with us direct, unsuitable.
