after shave moisturiser -
Buy this for my husband who uses it along with the shaving cream. He loves both and finds them soothing and hydrating and it leaves his face really smooth. It goes on really well with good absorption and the small amount left on his hands he uses as hand cream so his hands are lovely and soft too. A little goes a long way.

I have dry skin and lips prone to eczema. This moisturiser leaves my face feeling great after shaving and a tiny amount goes a long way so it works out quite economical.

Smoothness on skin.

Best moisturiser
I’ve been using this moisturiser for about 2 years and it is perfect for calming skin after shaving and sun exposure. It absorbs easily and immediately gives a refreshing sensation. It smell nice as well.

Is this just recommended after shaving or could it be used by a 16 year old after cleansing who isn’t yet shaving?

While our Men's After-Shaving Moisturiser has been formulated for use after shaving, this does contain Vitamin E which has naturally healing and protective properties and borage which is rich in GLA to calm and moisturise, so this can be used after cleansing as a moisturiser.
All our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible; however, we would always recommend you carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. We also have a generous 60 day returns policy, should you find any products unsuitable and need to return them to us for a refund.

Please could you confirm if this particular moisturiser and mens shaving cream are suitable for Vegans. It is for a gift for someone who is vegan and want to double check before ordering. Thanks

No, unfortunately, our products are only suitable for vegetarians. In some formulations we have harnessed the naturally active properties of beeswax, propolis, Manuka honey and organic black bee honey which are harvested as by-products from the honey industry. While we can confirm which products include these ingredients, without completing a full assessment of the entire supply chain we are unable to declare that our products are suitable for use by vegans.

Is this product suitable for use on face and beard? Or face only?

Our Cleanse & Polish is suitable for use on the entire face, including the delicate eye area however, this has not been tested for use on a beard. This may depend on how long your beard is, due to this being a cream cleanser, it may be unsuitable for a long beard.

Our Mens Cleanse & Polish is available purchase as a stand alone item, and the Pure Cotton Cloths do not come as standard. However, they are available to purchase separately.

What age can this be used from? My son is almost 11 and starting to get the odd breakout. I'd like to get him into a good routine to help minimise them, but unsure if this would be suitable for him, or if I'm best to stick with the original?

Both our original Cleanse & Polish and our men’s edition offer the same experience and both deliver visible results. There are some minor differences in the formulation however these don’t affect the way the product works and you will get the same great results from either product.

Could the pure cotton facecloth be used instead of the muslin cloth? I bought the men’s version but, sadly, no cloth.

For best results, we would recommend removing our Cleanse & Polish with the pure cotton cloth, as the cloth helps to remove dead skin cells, keeping your skin clean and clear.
Our Men's Cleanse & Polish is available to purchase with our without cloths, as we are aware that some customers don't wish to have the cloths every time they purchase our cleanser.
