Used for its soothing and cooling properties, we source our cornflower from Europe, where we extract our ingredient from the rich blue flowers of the plant.

Legendary for its soothing and refreshing properties, and rich in tannins, flavonoids and glycosides, our eyebright is harvested in Bulgaria, where the aerial parts of the plant are macerated in water for 7 days to create our extract.

Witch Hazel

(Hamamelis virginiana)

Legendary for its soothing and toning properties, witch hazel is native to the eastern coast of North America, and our witch hazel water is distilled from the chopped, macerated leaves of the flowering shrub.

I have dry eyes and use medication every night which can leave “build up” around my eyes in the morning, which this product clears up immediately without any soreness. It is very soothing while cleansing. Also use it as last cleanser after wearing mascara. Would recommend

I always carry a small bottle whilst travelling as it’s ideal to soothe my eyes when I’ve been up a long time and am getting tired. It’s a great way to give myself a lift, and wonderful if my eyes are feeling gunky. It’s really gentle, as great to use after eye treatments too.

Do you need to wash off the eye bright soothing eye lotion

No not all - it’s a refreshing cleanser for the eyes especially if they are dry gritty but I also use it to remove mascara.

Is this product suitable for use on very dry eyes?  I use eye drops prescribed by my doctor 6 or more times a day.

However, this product is not intended for medical use and we are not medically trained, so we would be unable to advise if this will be suitable for use alongside any medication you have been given by your GP. You may wish to seek some advice from a medical professional first. It may also help you to know, that a full ingredients list for each of our products can be found on our website. I love the eyebright in the beige bottle I received a free eyebright in the blue bottle, it irritates my eyes, is this because this one now contains micellar water?

This contains a blend of ingredients that will help with dark circles, puffiness and will remove light eye makeup. Perhaps your skin is sensitive to one of the ingredients. I haven’t used this product recently as need to order more though I don’t love it as much as I used to - has something changed?

The skin around my eyes is quite red, possibly due to bay fever, when I used Eyebright it stung, not badly but enough not to be relaxing, should I continue using it?

I wouldn't use Eyebright on your eyes if it stung. I had a similar problem and used my Eyebright up as a facial toner.

My skin under my eyes is red and sore and i have sensitive patches on my skin i need help, will this and any moisturiser help me with my problem? Is there any product you can recommend

Eyebright will sooth your eyes, revitalise tired eyes and is wonderful in hayfever season, keep your bottle in the fridge for a cooling refreshing feel to your eyes. It sounds as though you need a moisturiser that is calming , soothing and hydrates , I would suggest trying skin repair rich cream which offers 72 hours of hydration, locking in moisture, deeply hydrates restoring balance to your skin . Your skin will feel soothed,comforted and will glow with natural radiance. For an extra boost of hydration try adding a few drops of Calming Botanical Drops to your moisturiser for soothing and hydrating, skin will feel calm, soothed and look plumped and replenished. Your skin will thank you for it. Keep it simple and easy, that's what Liz Earle products are all about !! Hope this helps, good luck.
