Aloe Vera

ALOE VERA
(Aloe barbadensis)

Featuring formidable hydrating, soothing and cooling properties, our aloe vera is harvested in the morning to maximise the amount of juice the sword-shaped fronds yield, before being freeze-dried to create a powder.

Camphor

CAMPHOR ESSENTIAL OIL
(Cinnamomum camphora)

Often used for its stimulating properties, camphor is native to China, Taiwan and Japan, and is a key botanical in our Brightening Treatment Mask. To produce our oil, the wood of the Cinnamomum camphora tree is steam-distilled, before the distillate is frozen to leave camphor oil behind.

Witch Hazel

WITCH HAZEL WATER
(Hamamelis virginiana)

Legendary for its soothing and toning properties, witch hazel is native to the eastern coast of North America, and our witch hazel water is distilled from the chopped, macerated leaves of the flowering shrub.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a patch on the original This lacks all the fabulous uplifting fragrance and pep of the original. It is not a pick me up at all. To make matters worse, it was very stinging on my skin and my face was very red afterwards for some reason, which the original never did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product Adore this product as it works in only 60 secs which is magic for those if us who are time poor!!. Easy ordering and you apply a layer of the treatment onto your face, leave for 60 secs and then wipe off with a Liz Earle cloth. I then douse the cloth in cold water and put on my face for about 20 secs. The results are amazing - my skin looks glowing and fresh! Love it!

I don't like the reviews I have read here. PLEASE Liz Earle Product Development Team restore this product to the original. It was another tool in my morning armour and smelt fantastic. I loved it. Why why why do you have to keep changing things!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brightening clay mask I tried this mask the other evening and in my opinion it is just like the original one, which I've bought and used many times. maybe there's a very slight difference in smell but not necessarily in a bad way. I personally think it's just as good!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed at recent change in this product Have regularly used the Brightening Clay Mask for past 3-4 years. Recently purchased the revamped product but am very disappointed - the smell is awful and rather than making me feel relaxed and comfortable I can’t wait for the 2 minutes to be up so I can remove it! Can’t understand why Liz Earle would change the previously amazing product which I loved. I bought 2 of these items so will use them up but will then look to find an alternative elsewhere. Similar thing happened with the Eye Brightening Treatment- the revamped product is again less favourable. Such a shame because I usually love Liz Earle products.

Hi, I’ve been an avid user of Brightening Treatment mask for years (which I loved!). I bought this from Boots, but it doesn’t seem to be the same at all; have the ingredients changed?

I carnt find the brighting treatment ,where you wash ya face .Then put it on for 2 mins ,then take it off,plz let me no ?it’s not a mask

We can confirm we are on a journey to improve the sustainability of our packaging, and with this in mind our entire mask range has transitioned into our new eco-friendly packaging which comes in our new aluminium tubes. Our new eco-friendly packaging now comes in a new fantastic pastel colour to make this sustainable packs easier to identify. Our Instant Brightening Mask which came in a pump previously is now called Brightening Clay Mask and is in a tube. We have also introduced a new gentler aroma which is now 100% natural.
