Step 2: Pour a generous amount of Superskin™ Advanced Brightening Essence onto a reusable cotton pad, before gently sweeping over your face and neck.

A fantastic lotion for older skin

Leaves skin with a glossy sheen
I switched from my usual hot cloth routine to try this range now that I’m in my 50’s.
My skin can be a little dry & oily in places, but this gives my skin a lovely glossy sheen that feels so hydrated, some darker spots have defaced too so I’m not turning back, thanks LE! x

Not for me.
This product made my face sting the first time I used it. Felt awful on the skin and I did not use it again. The worst beauty product I have ever used. Hope I don’t have a reaction to it.

Awful Smell/Spots on face
This has just arrived and have used it for 3 days. It has the most awful smell so really cannot bear to put it over my face. I have shaken bottle really well and applied using a cosmetic pad but am already coming out with a few spots on face which I haven't had in about 40 years as am 64 now. This product is too oily so will throw this one out unless Liz Earle will refund back to my account. I have used the hot cloth cleanser, toner and super skin moisturiser for years and this is the first product which I will never use again. Perhaps it is my age group that it doesn't suit but the smell is awful too which I am surprised about as all the other products have such a gorgeous aroma to them.

Sorry LE. Certainly not for me.
I have long been a user of LE products and loved them all but certainly not this one. It is extremely oily, even though I have made sure to shake the bottle before applying the bi-phase lotion. It leaves a film on my skin. I am reluctant to discard it, as it was expensive, but I will only use it at night now.

A lovely drink for tired skin
Had been feeling poorly and although this is a brightening product it’s woken up my skin. It has left a gorgeous sheen on my skin. I bought two on the Tuesday deal and a little goes a long way. Probably won’t need any the rest of the year.

i love this but strugge as to where to fit it in! i usually cleanse& tone then this AND a serum then moisturise but this seems enough. should i cut out the toner? btw ppl - u only need a very tiny bit of this, and you need to shake it well.
I asked this question when purchasing this some long time ago when it was first introduced by Liz Earle. It states on the instructions to use after cleansing but no mention of toning or moisturising which was very unhelpful so I just used it after toning and then moisturised. In my opinion it would be best to only use the serum at night as it seems like too many products for morning use.

I probably wouldn’t use this under makeup, but if you do make sure it’s completely soaked into your skin before you do

Will the new Superskin Advanced Brightening Essence be made available as Stage 2 of the Build Your Skincare Routine?
Hi, I watched Sarah Carr on QVC explaining how to use it. First cleanse your face, then use Instant Boost Skin Tonic. Then, after shaking the bottle of Superskin Advanced Brightening Essance, put a few drops on your skin. When it has had a few minutes to soak in go ahead with your serum and moisturiser.

Is this to be used along side the toner and serum? I use the toner and the superskin serum. Is this to be used instead of one or both of these products, or as well as?
I used smooth and glow and instant skin tonic and the new tonic I use every 3 or 4 days , depending how I feel . I always use superskin moisturiser I hardly use the serum

I love the Superskin Advanced but will it clog my pores if I use it day as well as night

Do you use this as well as the toner

We can confirm that our Superskin Advanced Brightening Essence can be used alongside our Instant Boost Skin Tonic, as part of your skincare routine.
There are two phases to the Essence – an Aqueous phase and an Oil phase. Those two phases are made separately. Once shaken, they combine into one formulation. Due to the slightly oily texture, we would recommend using the Essence after our Instant Boost Skin Tonic.

I use the cleanse and glow range - do I use this after the toner and before moisturiser or instead of anything else?
I use it after cleansing, instead of toner, on a cotton pad but not near the eyes! I use regular toner around the eye area, then moisturise.
