Formulated with aloe vera, soap bark extract (a naturally derived foaming agent) and natural source vitamin E, as well as a fragrance blend of patchouli, bergamot and vetiver pure essential oils for maximum freshness.

ALOE VERA
(Aloe barbadensis)
Featuring formidable hydrating, soothing and cooling properties, our aloe vera is harvested in the morning to maximise the amount of juice the sword-shaped fronds yield, before being freeze-dried to create a powder.
LAVANDIN ESSENTIAL OIL
(Lavandula hybrida)
Less floral than lavender, but still loved for its distinctive, herbal fragrance and calming properties, Lavandin yields between five to ten times more oil than lavender. Our pure essential oil is obtained by steam distilling the flowers and stalk of the cultivated shrub.
SOAP BARK EXTRACT
(Quillaja saponaria)
A gentle, yet effective natural cleanser, soap bark contains saponins, which are detergent compounds found in certain plants that foam when mixed with water. We source our soap bark extract from wild-harvested raw materials obtained from FSC certified forests in Chile.

Couldn't be better
A concentrated heavy gel so you don't need to use much and lasts a good while. Lathers up nicely and you leave the shower feeling fantastically clean.

Be aware of the fragrance
I bought this as a unisex shower gel on the back of a QVC reviewer saying it resembled fragrance no 15.
It resembles no 1. I have both, love 15, am ambivalent about 1. (It would be soooo good to have testers available. I'd pay a small amount to save a big mistake.)
As the shower gel has quite a strong smell ( see reviews) I'm not totally thrilled, though I think my partner will like it OK.

Great fragrance - my husband really likes this and I've had a sneaky use too!
Another excellent product from Liz Earle. My husband has tried many shower products but always comes back to this one. He suffers from a skin condition and this does not aggravate it. I have used it too and it has a lovely fresh fragrance.

Leaves your skin fresh and clear
A brilliant face wash, I haven't used it as a body wash but warm water, then this to wash. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized, a little more than you may usually pay for a product like this but it is worth the price in my opinion as you don't need to use as much, I use it morning and night and it lasts me around 3 months.

Bigger pack?
This shower gel is great, I really like it, but why is there no bigger pack? There are large packs for the other two shower gels.
Why not for the men's!!??

product suits me fine, not too much lather and scent appeals to me and to the wife (so she says) only comment is why is there not a bigger pack or tube? I would gladly spend a few more pounds on a bigger quantity pack would like to see one in the future!

Very calming for sensitive skin
I buy this product for my husband who was left with dry and irritated skin after chemotherapy. We've tried many other products, some prescribed by a doctor but Liz Earle really gives the best results. Would thoroughly recommend.

After using the ladies version of the botanic body wash I was expecting the men's version to be better than it is. Smell is lovely however I found it to dry out my skin (something it claims not to do) and a bit too harsh.
For me, cleanse and polish at night time before bed suffices, it was too harsh on my skin to use this in the shower also.

A lovely treat
I fancied trying this after I saw the good reviews and was not disappointed. It was a lovely change and left my skin feeling moisturised and the smell was gorgeous. Took it on hols with me and it is now a regular along with the other 2 body washes. My husband will have to fight me for this one!

Wonderful product
My husband loves this and has used it all the time for at least 5 years. One improvement would be to have it in a pump bottle.....It his only face wash and would be perfect on the shelf and easier usage in a pump bottle! Please consider this.

The Best
The smell alone is enough to make me buy this product in bulk
It never makes my skin feel dry, and there is no need to moisterise after using.
It also sents the whole bathroom for hours after using it. Add a bit under a running bath tap and it natural foams up.

This hasn’t been available for a long time and wondered what the alternative is or when it will return.
I know - so disappointed - really so good for men - can’t find anything else except for dove make 🙁 as some men just like to use something that does all and easy

Would this be suitable for women's facial skin too.
I personally wouldn’t use it for my face as i prefer to use my hot cloth cleanser but if I was totally stuck and it was all I had available I wouldn’t panic using it a couple of times as its very gentle!
