ALARIA ESCULENTA EXTRACT
This brown algae, sourced in Brittany, is rich in essential fatty acids and sterols, making it an effective skin moisturiser. Also known as winged kelp, it demonstrates anti-elastase activity which results in firmer-feeling skin.
AVOCADO OIL
(Persea gratissima)
Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

Not the same :(
Used to love Sheer Skin Tint, but the change of ingredients are sadly not for the better. The texture is much more runny yet drying & the colour now has an orangey tint. This was also one of the few products I found not to irritate my sensitive skin but the new formular made me itchy and spotty.
It also smells funny :(
Still super disappointed as I haven’t found anything I love as much as I loved the old formula!

Something has changed
I thought maybe I had bought a bad tube-after reading some reviews, turns out it’s a new formula and it’s not so good. I agree with these reviews, the old version was incredible, whereas this new has given me bad skin and looks patchy-I guess I’ll have to throw it out. Please please change it back so we can keep buying!

Changed, but not for the better
Just finished my tube of sheer skin tint and opened a new one which I bought ages ago, but it's nothing like it used to be and I really don't like it. Find it hard to find foundation that doesn't look dry & patchy or sit in my pores. Your "old" product was creamy and left a soft dewey finish. I've tried countless products but always return to this. New version so thin and watery , doesn't cover well and doesn't sit well on my face . Tried shaking it and even left it in the fridge for a while but consistency unchanged. See 80% of reviewers agree. Can we please have the old formula back or will have to look elsewhere.

Please please return to the original formula!!!
I have used this product since it was first launched and have always loved it. This new formula is just awful, it just doesn't blend and the new shade is no good either. Why change something that was so perfect in every way. I will not be buying this again.
Please listen to your loyal customers and bring back the original!!

New formula is awful
I am now trawling websites in the vain hope of finding my beloved original skin tint. Bare for daytime, beige for evening. This new formula starts runny (makes a mess at neck of tube) then quickly becomes too thick to blend, is heavier than the original, too greasy and contains ingredients that cant be taken anywhere near my eyes or they become puffy and irritate my sensitive skin.the original formula was award winning - why did you change it? It's not improved, it's a different product entirely. Liz and Co, please read the reviews begging for the original to be relaunched and respond accordingly. PLEASE

New Formula
How disappointing that this product has changed.
I have been buying Sheer Skin Tint since it was launched.
I opened the new tube and the first thing that I noticed was the consistency - much runnier. It didn't seem to absorb very well at all. The shade is darker and I looked as if I was wearing a mask of very badly applied fake tan/wrong shade of foundation. It seemed sticky and shiny rather than "dewy". I also thought that it seemed to transfer very easily onto clothing etc which didn't happen previously. The smell is also unpleasant - very synthetic.
I threw the tube away. I don't like waste but it was just unusable.
I fear that this feedback won't be acted upon. Superskin Concentrate was changed, customers reviewed accordingly, but we're stuck with the new formula. (Another product I no longer buy).

Bring back the old version
Old version of this was pretty much the perfect product for me, but this new formula is really runny, goes patchy really quickly when paired with the powders and is constantly seeping out of the end of the tube. Don't particularly want to look elsewhere, but if this is the new standard, will have to.

New improved product is a disappointment
This used to be such an excellent product but since the formula has changed I won't be buying this again. The product is so runny and explodes out of the tube to create a total mess everywhere. It doesn't feel as moisturising on the skin as it used to either as it is more watery. I really hope that the company takes the reviews on board and reverts back to the old product

RUINED AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Used this for years - Bare through the winter and Beige in the summer. Gave a beautiful radiant glow, was smooth and so easy to apply. HOWEVER - reordered as usual - it was so awful I wrote an email to Liz Earle thinking I had a received a faulty batch. It is runny and watery, insipid and feels awful on. I was informed this was the new improved formula! Please reinstate the old formula Liz.

Bring back the old formula
I bought my third tube of this without realising the formula had changed. It is now very runny and the colour much deeper and orangey. The smell is not good, so much so that I thought I had a defective tube and took it back to Boots. However the display tube was the same. I have tried shaking it up a lot, as suggested by staff at the counter, but it makes no difference. I will not be buying again.

Don't buy it
Like other reviewers I've used this product previously, but agree that the new formula is so watery I've wasted most of it. I am really disappointed and won't be buying it again. Too expensive to take a chance.

New, very liquid consistency is a disappointment
I have been using Sheer Skin Tint Bare for several years and have always found its creamy formulation easy to apply, giving an excellent light finish. However, my latest tube is very runny and it is difficult to get the product out of the tube without it spreading everywhere and then making a mess around the top of the tube when the lid is put back. This product needs to be in a bottle - a pliable tube is not a suitable container for something so runny.
The runny consistency also makes the product difficult to apply evenly and it seems to soak into pores more, making them more visible.
I had hoped I had a 'bad' tube, but on reading other reviews it seems this is unfortunately the new formulation. I shall not buy this product again and will be looking for a replacement brand of face tint.

Disappointed with change
I used to love this product it had a creamy texture and covered well. However since the formulation has changed I don't like the liquid consistency it is difficult to control and apply. It doesn't cover well and the colour looks orange on my skin. I wont be reordering and am looking for an alternative brand for future purchases.

Such a shame...
I love Liz Earle products and have used them for many years but the changes to the Skin Tint formula have not been an improvement. Its runny consistency and the strange way it accentuates pores has driven me to find a new make up brand for my foundation.
Sometimes change for the sake of change is a mistake, I will keep using my other Liz Earle favourites such as the cream blush and No15 scent but I can no longer recommend the Skin Tint.

Why change a great product ?
The changes to rhis product are not good. I have been a fan of the previous formulation for several years and recommended it to friends. The new texture is much to runny , with an rather unusual odour. I use the palest 01
colour , which was perfect. It is now darker and not so attractive on a pale skin. I will not buy it again if this not
return to the original formulation.

Product has changed
I have been using this product for years and have loved it. However, it appears to have changed. It is much more fluid and leaks out of the top of the tube when closed (I tried a second tube thinking the first was faulty but it was the same) and the colour which had been perfect for me is now darker. I look sun tanned, but not in a good way! I will now have to find another make of tinted moisturiser - so disappointed.

Very disappointed
Used to love this product but very disappointed with my latest purchase. Far too 'runny'. It'e very thin and the colour is orangey. Afraid to say I definitely won't be buying this again.

Poor Quality
Like other reviewers I have been using Liz Earle sheer Tint for many years and loved the dewy, youthful coverage it gave to my skin. Unfortunately, the new formula is not creamy at all and leaves the skin looking aged. I am so disappointed that I now need to look elsewhere for a new foundation.

Not at all good!
I have been using Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint for a number of years and have had numerous comments on how healthy my skin looked. The new formula is awful and runny and drying on my face - and the medium tint now appears orange on the skin!! It has now been consigned to the bin and I am now in search of a new tinted
moisturiser.

The new formula is SO disappointing!
I'd been using this product for about a year, it was the best foundation/tinted moisturiser I'd ever used. It had a lovely luxurious creamy consistency and blended beautifully. ...
New formula is really runny, streaky on the skin and feels like much cheaper product!

Bring back the old formula!
I used to love(!!) this product but since they've launched the new formula, it is more orange, a thinner consistency and therefore less easy to rub in. I've found it's a little more 'cakey' too - definitely better than some others on the market, hence the 3 star rating, but I will be looking elsewhere for my next cream...

What have they done to this product?
I have used this for years and loved it but the new version is so awful: runny, orange, looks caked on and now gives me spots. I can't use this anymore, such a shame as the original was amazing! Sort it out Liz Earle!

Extremely Disappointed
I have used this product since it was launched & loved the texture, coverage & dewy finish. However I was extremely disappointed when I recently bought a new tube with the new formulation. Everything about it is different. It is difficult to apply, settles into every pore & line & looks dry - very aging. I'm afraid I won't be buying Skin Tint again.

Wish I had returned it
I bought this product in Summer and the only way i can apply it is by diluting it with moisturiser. I wish I had returned it but I persevered with no luck. It feels really dry on the skin.

Please be assured that the decision to retire our Sheet Skin Tint collection is not one taken lightly and comes following a careful review. Unfortunately, we have found that over time our Sheer Skin Tint has been less popular with our customers, and so we are taking the difficult decision to no longer stock these items. How do I know what shade to select for my skin?

Our Sheer Skin Tint is available in three shades. Shade Bare 01 is suited to more alabaster complexions, or those that have fair hair, eyes, or red in their hair. Shade Beige 02 suits slightly warmer skin tones, with slightly yellow undertones and Shade Beach 03 is suited to olive or sun kissed complexions.
