COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)
Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)
Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.
CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)
Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
(Eucalyptus globulus)
Renowned for its purifying properties and invigorating aroma, we source our eucalyptus from China, where our essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the fast-growing eucalyptus tree.

Bought the hot cloth cleanser assuming there would be a cloth with the product. At 15.50 a bottle you would think a cloth would be provided, no mention of buying additional cloths for the product

Only for the girls?
I used to think that products like Cleanse and Polish were for the girls - but not any more!
My wife bought it for me - I put it off - but once I started to use it I can’t stop.
Before, after I’d washed my face, it soon began to feel oily or greasy - so I’d wash it regularly through the day and it became sore…
After cleanse and polish my skin feels clean and fresh for the whole day.

Good product but why no cloths?
The cleanser is great but as a first time user I didn’t know I needed to buy the cloths separately. It’s a bit disappointing. If you can’t user the cleaner without them why sell it in its own?

This product is amazing.
I tried Liz Earle not expecting to be so amazed by the products!! The face and body wash is incredible, it leaves me clean, my skin feels moisturised and healthy and the smell is amazing!!. The price is reasonable as you only need a small amount on a sponge or scrunchie. Using the face and body wash has led to me trying other Liz Earle skin care products and I'm finding all of them 100% perfect for me!!. The mens products are great but to be honest I would describe most of the products as unisex.

Great for teenagers
I bought this for my 14 year old son who has suffered from teenage spots and flare ups for around a year. He has been using other skin cleansers but with limited effect. Having read other reviews I persuaded him to give this a go for 3 weeks to see if it made a difference to his skin - I am amazed that only one week in we can both already see a significant improvement and are really impressed with the results. I would definitely recommend.

Iv been using this whole family of products and never disappoints, well woth a try for any skin types, the product is easy to apply and wipes away leaving your skin soft and smooth, in most cases I don't use any moisturiser! Big thumbs up!

Good - Varied Results
I have struggled with acne for a while now and I feel as though I have tried everything out there! This product was recommended to me and it has been ok since I have started, I have been using it for around 6 weeks and some weeks my skin has been great, others I have seen spots come back. Not sure why my skin has fluctuated so much as I have kept to the same routine throughout the past 6 weeks. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Great price and I think the most natural skin product you can actually get.

A revelation!
This face wash is nothing short of a revelation. It smells amazing and I love the recommended way of applying it to dry skin, massaging it in, then removing it with a warm, damp muslin cloth. Especially at night when I can't be bothered washing my face and usually end up grabbing one of my wife's disposable face wipes instead. Not any more. My skin feels fresh and looks fantastic (according to my wife). I'm totally hooked on this glorious cleanser now. It's superb.

Amazingly good
I stopped using soap 3mths ago and only cleanse using Cleanse & Polish twice a day and my skin looks amazing. It just looks and feels so much cleaner and healthier than before. I have combination skin which oscillates between being dry and oily/shiny. Cleanse & Polish really helps to balance the skin better. I can't recommend this highly enough.

I find this just the same as the women`s Cleanse and Polish, but prefer the colour of the container so always buy the men`s version.
I find the pump much easier to use.
I have used everyday for many years and it is a wonderful product.
My skin was prone to cold sores, but this cleans with no tightness or irritation.

Is this product suitable for use on face and beard? Or face only?

Our Cleanse & Polish is suitable for use on the entire face, including the delicate eye area however, this has not been tested for use on a beard. This may depend on how long your beard is, due to this being a cream cleanser, it may be unsuitable for a long beard.

What age can this be used from? My son is almost 11 and starting to get the odd breakout. I'd like to get him into a good routine to help minimise them, but unsure if this would be suitable for him, or if I'm best to stick with the original?

Both our original Cleanse & Polish and our men’s edition offer the same experience and both deliver visible results. There are some minor differences in the formulation however these don’t affect the way the product works and you will get the same great results from either product.

Could the pure cotton facecloth be used instead of the muslin cloth? I bought the men’s version but, sadly, no cloth.

For best results, we would recommend removing our Cleanse & Polish with the pure cotton cloth, as the cloth helps to remove dead skin cells, keeping your skin clean and clear.
Our Men's Cleanse & Polish is available to purchase with our without cloths, as we are aware that some customers don't wish to have the cloths every time they purchase our cleanser.
