Doesn’t lather up well
I love all Liz Earle products, but I didn’t like these. I have very fine hair with highlights and live in a hard water area. The instructions said use sparingly. I only wash my hair twice a week, so started with a ten pence piece size, added water but no lather, so added another ten pence piece. This gave it slightly more lather, but my hair still felt dirty. After slightly more shampoo I finally saw lather. Then I followed with conditioner. But not happy when I finished styling it. It was a bit fly away. I’ll give it another try.

Fantastic products
I always buy expensive salon shampoos and conditioners but wanted to try something else. I am not disappointed with my choice. This is fabulous and my hair feels amazing after using it for only 1 week. I would definitely recommend this duo if shampoo and conditioner.

Fabulous Hair
At last I have hair I can run my fingers through. After just one wash my thin natural hair is thick, shiny and feels soft. Believe me when I say this because it is the absolute truth, I washed my hair yesterday and I still haven’t brushed it I just run my fingers through it. No knots it’s amazing. Thank you

Nice smell

Perfect pairing .....and both last for ages!
I have been a fan of Liz Earle products for years now.......and even met her at a literary festival. I have extremely fine hair and a very sensitive scalp after two hair transplants. I have found both the shampoo and the conditioner ideal.....cleans and conditions well and no issues with sensitivity either.

Love this combo for my colour treated hair
I’ve always loved Liz Earle because their products smell so lovely! I colour my hair so have to use the moisturising set but it doesn’t weigh it down at all. Just as good as my old salon brand and half the price.

Lovely Smell
I have shoulder length blonde hair with toned highlights and my usual shampoo leaves my hair in v.good condition and shining. I have been using Liz Earle orange Blossom shower wash and other products for a long time and I love them so I gave her Shampoo & Conditioner a try. I have used them three times now, but unfortunately I have not had good results. My hair has been very difficult to comb through after conditioning, and after blow drying my hair is left static with not much shine. It has also been fluffy and difficult to manage.
I feel bad because this is the first time in many years that I have had anything negative to say about Liz Earl products.
However, the products’redeeming point is it’s wonderful smell!

Best natural hair products
Ive been using these in combo and despite the dry water in London my hair is soft and smooth. I even get compliments regularly. I only use natural healthy non hormone disruptive products and Li Earl products in general are really ticking all the boxes. Thank you for keeping the LE products natural and efficinet!

Which conditioner is suitable for very fine hair?

We would recommend our Botanical Shine Daily Moisture Conditioner. This will Nourish and hydrate, to reveal glossy, healthy looking hair.
For those with fine to oily hair, we would recommend using a little less product and to concentrate on the ends rather than the roots so this does not weight the hair down.

Is there any silicons in the shampoo as my hairdresser has said that is what’s making my hair weighed down after a perm on my bob haircut, I use your shampoo and conditioner and hair oil as I thought they didn’t have any silicone in them. Love the product

We can confirm that our Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioners are free from silicon however, our Botanical Shine Hair Oil does contain silicon.
We tried a variety of natural alternatives to silicone when formulating the Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil – in total we considered over 50 formulations – but silicone gave the best performance in terms of smoothing, heat-protection and shine-promotion, all of which are important properties in a finishing product such as our Hair Oil.
