ALARIA ESCULENTA EXTRACT
This brown algae, sourced in Brittany, is rich in essential fatty acids and sterols, making it an effective skin moisturiser. Also known as winged kelp, it demonstrates anti-elastase activity which results in firmer-feeling skin.
DRAGON'S BLOOD EXTRACT
(Croton lechleri)
Sustainably sourced from Peru, dragon’s blood extract is rich in proanthocyanidins, which act as antioxidants, and a biologically active alkaloid called taspine, which is known to help barrier function properties.
POMEGRANATE FLOWER OIL
(Punica granatum)
With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers.
ARGAN OIL
(Argania spinosa)
Renowned for its intensely nourishing and hydrating properties, argan is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E. Native to Morocco, our oil is extracted by pressing the sun-dried, roasted and ground kernels of the plum-sized fruit.

Brilliant product
Best lip balm I have ever used and I have tried a lot. It's more expensive than I would usually pay but thought I'd give it a go it's amazing I love it your lips are left in fabulous condition and its healing too.

Lip tube burst open
My tube burst and the sticky liquid came out of the other side and into my bag and hair! Apart from this, I'd recommend

Sadly unimpressed.
I have been a Liz Earle devotee for some time however only recently tried this lip balm. The texture was gloopy and sticky and I found the taste decidedly unpleasant. I will definitely not be using this product again and would not recommend it.

Bye bye dry lips
I have been having dry lips this summer for some reason or another, and I wanted to try something new rather than the usual lip balm. I ordered this superskin superlip balm and after a few times using it I noticed a huge difference. I don’t apply a lot as I think that it may be a bit pricey for its size, but if used diligently this can last a good while!!

Best lip balm on the market.
This lip balm exceeds any other lip product I have ever used. Due to sinus issues, I have to salt rinse my sinuses daily which leaves my lips dry and cracked. But not anymore, thanks to Liz Earle lip balm. This restores moisture and makes them soft again. I can't praise this lip balm enough. No other product on the market comes anywhere close to this.

Luscious lips!
I love this, so moisturising. It is quite thick but, I like that it stays on my lips for much longer.the tube is generous and lasts ages I do use it quite a lot and a tube lasts me at least 2 months.

Horrible taste and texture
I have to agree with a couple of the other reviews about this product. I find this lip balm incredibly thick and gloopy, it just doesn't feel nice on my lips. But the worst thing is the taste of it - it just leaves a weird, unpleasant taste in my mouth which I haven't experienced with other lip balms. I feel it is on the more expensive side for a lip balm so I am very disappointed. Definitely would not buy again.

Disappointed - too sticky...
I've bought and loved every Liz Earle product for at least 8 years, but I found this truly awful. It is really thick and sticky and just sits on the skin. It feels uncomfortable. I agree with a previous comment, I don't feel it moisturises my lips at all, in fact they are drier than before. PLEASE, PLEASE, bring back the old lip balm in the pot! I used that for years, keeping it on my bedside table to moisturise my lips overnight. It was fantastic. Why change a good thing?

Best Valentines kisses everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Addictive lips
I bought this for myself around 4 weeks ago. OMG, I love it. Its been so good in protecting and hydrating my lips during this cold bitter winter. I was surprised exactly how long it lasted on my lips, really pleased with it and I bought more . I gave one to my husband he's fussy but he really loves it. It also gives a good healthy gloss and seems to enhance my natural lip colour.

Fantastic lip balm
I'm not a fan of lip balm but my lips really suffer in the cold and windy weather. This balm is really good, not gloopy or thin but somehow it really does the job of soothing and protecting dry lips and the effect really lasts. My only problem? My husband keeps taking my tube so I'm going to get him his own. I can really recommend this product.

The most long lasting product I’ve used
I was very excited to try this product after hearing great things about all of the superskin range, this product did not fail to meet my expectations. A little bit goes a long way making it good value for money and the tube is easy to use and leaves no mess. I prefer to use this product at night when I complete my full skin care routine and as I also suffer with dry lips more throughout the night. I find that there is still traces of the product on my lips the next morning leaving them soft and hydrated.

Unpleasant taste
I wanted to love this product. It's glossy and moisturising but what lets it down is the horrible taste. Described as 'naturally flavoured' I find it has almost an animal fat taste (although I know there are no animal products in it.) Natural mint or lemon would improve it. So disappointed.

I also have the super balm in a jar which says that it can be used on the lips. However, this is far more luxurious and it feels more appropriate for the lips. As it is more expensive I use this for night time and the other one throughout the day.

Very moisturing
So far I am loving the difference it has made to my lips in just one day! I was really struggling with dry lips this last month and my usual go to's didn't seem to be working so this has been a nice find.
I wouldn't say it plumped my lips in any way but having big lips already I am not particularly affected by this.
One issue I do have is that it doesn't contain any spf and I rely on this in the Summer and Winter to keep coldsores at bay...so this will be used to rehydrate when I need a little extra help and as a night lip treatment.
Overall happy and it will go a long way. easy to use tube...nice packaging...nice smell and not sticky.

Fabulous product
Have never been able to find a lip balm that does what it says it will and feels comfortable. This is the one!
Only small amount needed but the luscious feeling on the lips is amazing!
Feels packed with goodness and not a horrible sticky texture. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Good all-rounder
As a woman of a certain age(55!) I bought this for night time use as I have always used a lip balm. It protects my lips from the cold, it moisturises and I use it over my lipstick as a gloss!

Not for me
I love trying anything new from LE, as it's usually such a treat. But I think this made my lips worse. I usually just use lipstick, gloss etc., not a specific lip salve, but this made them very dry. It's a bit of a price for lip salve as well. The quality and taste are the usual good quality as I've found most of LE products, but it doesn't do what is says it's going to do. Sorry to say it's not worth it, The Superbalm is so much better for my lips, applied at night time.

Lipstick Lip Line Bleed Reduced
I have some fine lip lines & after application of lipstick I get some bleeding of the product in to these areas, despite the initial use of various lip liners. This issue seems to have has reduced with use of this product. I have been using it for about 6 weeks & apply it at night only.

Actually made my lips worse
I love all things Superskin from Liz Earle and was at first excited by this new addition. I liked the sticky texture and the 'taste'. But that's where it ended. It didn't plump my lips, didn't make them softer, didn't last very long and after using only this for a few days my lips were dryer and flakier than before. Maybe I reacted to something in the product, but it's not happened before. This doesn't work for me and was an expensive mistake.
I still love the other Superskin products though.

pretty good lip balm
I have the driest lips in the world, and apply moisturer 4-6 times a day, liz earle lip balm so far is working well less applications. Only issue, it's quite pricey will see how long it last in relation to price.

Lovely product
I have dry highly coloured lips and this product works perfectly. A little on the expensive side so only use it at night but does the job. Looking for a good lip primer now to help lipstick colour stay true on my lips.

i have been useing this lip balm 3 times a day for a week and my lips are no better. a wast of money l have used liz earle since the very start and this is the only product that l have seen no benefit at all

Superskin superlip balm didn't do what I expected
Because of my age my lips have 'narrowed' and I have tried other products to enlarge my lips. In the past, after applying the product, my lips have tingled and my lips appeared larger but unfortunately they dried my lips. Because I have always been happy with Liz Earle products I didn't hesitate to order superskin superlip balm. I think I must have misread the product details as, although the skin on my lips felt improved, I didn't experience the ' pout' I expected. Perhaps it was my mistake?

Not worth the money
Now I rave about everything Liz Earle & I am happy to spend a mini fortune on all of its products as I love them all but this lip gloss is the first product I will not be repurchasing. The first thing I noticed is it gives u a funny taste in your mouth after application which hits the back of your throat & it doesn't do anything that it says on the tin. It doesn't plump, I haven't noticed any improvement in softer lips & it is quite thick & although it makes your lips shiny which is great, it is not worth putting on because of the taste that you get. And the price I would be more than happy to pay if it worked, but there are much cheaper alternatives out there which I will be sticking too. Like I say, I use A LOT of Liz Earle products but this is a definite no no from me.

Is this product suitable for a 12 year old?

Can this product be used as an eye cream? I used it by accident on my eyes. Will it have any effect on my eyes?

Our Superskin Superlip Balm has been tested for use on the lips only, and has not been tested for use on the eyes, so we would not recommend using this around the delicate eye area.
