Cleanse & Polish™ Body Gentle Mitt Cleanser
SUNFLOWER SEED OIL
(Helianthus annuus seed oil)
Containing essential fatty acids, omega 6 and 9, this plant oil is an effective emollient used to soften and smooth the skin. Historically, this ingredient has been used to relieve dry skin conditions.
APRICOT KERNEL OIL
(Prunus armeniaca kernel oil)
Used for its lightweight texture, we source our apricot kernel oil from the Mediterranean. We use the fixed oil in our products which is high in essential fatty acids and vitamins A and E.
RICE BRAN OIL
(Oryza sativa bran oil)
Grown and harvested in Asia, we extract our rice bran oil from the germ and inner husk of rice. High in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it is a renowned for its moisturising properties in skincare.
VETIVER ESSENTIAL OIL
(Vetiveria zizanioides)
Vetiver essential oil has a strong woody scent; deep, humid with green earthy accents, it adds a mysterious dimension to woody bases. Extensively used in perfumery, not only as a fixative but also as a fragrance ingredient in its own right, vetiver oil is a component in fougère, oriental and chypre bases as well as moss and woody notes. We source our vetiver from the Indonesian Island of Java and the islands of Haiti and Réunion, for their high quality.

Lovely for Christmas stocking filler
I haven’t actually tried this particular product as purchased as Christmas present but I know that it will be perfect as used Liz Earle for years and always been satisfied.

Expensive Body Wash
For some reason I thought this would be a granular scrub enhanced by the use of the mitt but it is simply a body wash and all exfoliating is done via the use of the mitt. Mitt is too small and awkward to use. Body wash itself is just ok. Way too expensive for what it is. Not particularly moisturizing and I dislike the scent. Old lady lavender.

Luxurious!
I've only recently started using this body cleanser during my bath time routine and it is that moment of luxury and relaxation that I love! The scent is so soft and soothing and it feels so nourishing on the skin!
I try to save it just for that soak in the tub! But can't resist using it in the shower too

Nice cleansing product
Lovely smell, works very well with the mitt for cleaning. Didn't need a huge amount to get the job done, so should last a while. Not so sure about the 48 hour moisturisation as I put body cream or oil on after anyway.

This smells wonderful , gentle fragrance .
Really love this a little goes a long way , my skin feels so smooth . My only gripe is , the wash mitt could do with being a little longer & a place for the thumb would help grip better.

Love this product
I thought I would try this as I’ve been using Liz Earle products for 20 years and I wasn’t disappointed. I used it after a holiday abroad and I didn’t peel at all, in fact my skin looked glowing. Now for the negative (Sorry) I have to agree with an earlier review that I too find the Mitt a little on the small side and whilst using it it keeps slipping off my hand. As I have dexterity problems due to arthritis in my hands it would be so much easier if the mitt was larger. Maybe this is something that could be addressed in the future.

Lovely smell, good moisturising cleansing wash
I really like this wash, as I've got older my skin has begun to get a little bit dryer and this helps keep it healthy and well moisturised. Plus it has a lovely smell that's not so strong you can't wear your favourite perfume over the top.

Just does not work for me
I am an avid user of Liz Earle cleanse and polish. I never use anything else on my face. This however is just not what I want from a shower experience. The idea of spreading this all over your body then washing off with the mitt is just not workable. In the first place you have to use half the tube so unless you are a millionaire and can buy them a whole crate at a time, it is not practical. In the second place, there is a warning recommending you don't use on your face. That made me reluctant to try it on my intimate areas too, which means I have to use a different product, and that means taking more than one product when you want a quick shower. What I want from a shower product is something that foams and I can use all over my body.
The smell is quite pleasant and it did make my skin soft, but I won't be buying this again. I am sorry to have to give such a negative review but this product just was not thought out properly.

Super scrub for super soft skin
Yes, the smell is gorgeous. Like a spa, essential oils make the smell comforting to use. The mitt that comes with it helps to exfoliate skin, to encourage radiant, glowing skin. I follow it with the body cream.

Smells amazing!
This was my first time at using the product and I was very impressed. It not only smells great, but was lovely to massage into my skin and use the mitt to exfoliate and wash off. My skin feels amazing. I can’t wait to use it again. One word of warning, don’t use too much, a little went a long way.

Lovely product.
I really love this cleanse and polish and use it regularly in the mornings, the smell is divine and is long lasting.
I am just so sorry that the original version for the face no longer seems to be available my stock has almost come to an end.

Love this product
I use a small amount of product (about the size of a grape) in the shower which lathers really well using the mitt which comes with the cleanse and body polish. I find it has a really nice aroma and makes my skin feel soft and nourished.

Just love it...
Bought as part of the offer of half price body balm. I was confident I would like the body polish - I already have the original for those days when you need a little extra feel good. I did not expect to love it. A little goes a long way, it smells gorgeous, such a feel good factor, that I have decided that the polish and the balm will be added to my everyday routine. I can eat less to find this new habit!!

Just one problem
I love this product. It’s not too overpowering perfume wise but smells clean and fresh. With the mitt it makes a great job of getting rid of dead skin.
My only problem (as people have stated already) is the size of the mitt. As an older person, I find with the mitt being on the small side, I have my hand in a permanent claw shape to try and hang on to it. When your hands are showing signs of arthritis, that’s quite painful. A bigger one would be ideal. Please consider this.

Five stars for an Excellent product
Love, Love, Love this product. I could not believe how luxuriously smooth my skin felt after using this product. The mitt lathers up beautifully leaving your skin silky and scrupulously clean. I applied the matching body balm afterwards which left me feeling totally pampered and moisturised. The fragrance is absolutely divine.

Easy To Use
I like this it is so much better than using an exfoliator and I like the cloth that comes with it.Also do not have the grainy bits in the bath that you get when exfoliating.I like the perfume of this one but have used both and they both smell good.I do feel my skin is not so dry using this and the moisturiser.

Excellent cleansing
As with all Liz Earle’s products this is excellent. I love the fragrance as well. You also get the mitt to apply the product, and while it exfoliates the skin it leaves it feeling soft and hydrated. This product is even more essential in the summer months before fake tanning. I also bought the matching body cream which quite honestly is a must have

i bought this as I thought it sounded amazing and a friend had tried the body cream in the same fragrance.A little goes a long way and my skin was so soft after.I used it in the bath and did as was shown on QVC and soaked the mitt and applied the cream to the mitt,not my body.It was so much easier this way, and you didn't use very much so this will last a long time.
