(Stevia rebaudiana)
This naturally active ingredient – sourced from a relative of the chrysanthemum that grows in abundance in France – delivers a retinol-like action helping to minimise the appearance of wrinkles, for younger-looking skin. Traditionally used as a herbal medicine, stevia is renowned for the smoothing, wrinkle-softening power it has on the appearance of skin.
ELDERBERRY EXTRACT
(Sambucus nigra)
Elderberries are a rich source of bioflavonoids, which have antioxidant properties and help to brighten the appearance of skin and improve the look of skin tone. We source ours from Poland, handpicked on land protected to support biodiversity.

A treat
I have used this for about a month every day along with the paste which I use alternate nights. At first I thought it would make no difference, but now, although the little lines on my cheeks are still there they are not so evident and my cheeks feel and look pumper. Its a gorgeous product and I feel pampered.

Great product

I've had some products more expensive that this but prefer this one!
It does reduce the appearance of my crows feet when I have it on. It doesn't feel greasy when it's absorbed into the skin. A little goes a long way. Really good product.

Mixed bag.

Amazing stuff!

Love this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a month and have noticed my skin looking plumper, less fatigued and instead refreshed, hydrated and given a more radiant looking complexion.
I found this very easy to use and a little goes a long way, I mix a single drop into my moisturiser in the palm of my hand and this enables me to apply covering the whole of my face and neck absorbing well without feeling greasy or leaving a residue. This product is also recyclable.

A fine-line remover, a MUST for any routine!
I'm always a little nervous when it comes to adding new items to my skincare routine as I have very sensitive skin. The main focus of using this product was to help me reduce some fine lines, I noticed within a month of use that they had started to reduce drastically! I also had no issues with sensitivity, it didn't burn or anything like other products I have used in the past. Another plus, you don't need a lot of the product and you can even mix a drop into your daily moisturizer for even more coverage. This will definitely be a staple for my routine.

Reduced fine lines
After a few weeks of use my skin does feel firmer and I think fine lines are reduced. However, when applying it, I found that it absorbs very quickly and becomes slightly sticky. So I find you need to apply quite a lot, as it is difficult to rub in unless you use an excess. No change to appearance of pores as of yet.

Gentle; From a Skin Care Junkie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very gentle on the skin. I have been using Retinol for a few years. But sometimes Retinol irritates burns my skin. I first started using it daily even though it recommended 3 times a week. Seen some good results, skin is soft and smooth. Will now drop down to 3 times a week. It is a little pricey though. But is very gentle on the skin compared to the much cheaper The Ordinary Brand.

Great at smoothing the skin

But it did make my skin feel refreshed and hydrated. You only need 1 or 2 droplets for your face. Mixes in well with everyday facial moisturiser.

I used it on its own, I didn’t find it sticky like other reviewers. It definitely improved the appearance of fine lines, not so much on the deeper lines though sadly.

I Love This!
So glad I tried this. It has definitely improved the look of my skin. One drop mixed in with my superskin moisturiser morning and night is all you need. It’s light and doesn’t make the skin feel sticky or clogged. It smells lovely too.

Good but in moderation!

Also big tip is that i found you only need a small amount otherwise it can be thick on your skin/ leaves a layer. So moderation is definitely key but that also means it lasts longer!

Been using this product for two weeks, and have seen immediate results. The fine lines have softened, and my skin looks radiant.
One drop of the booster goes along way, and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. In the morning, I pop the LE facial serum on top.

Since using the superskin alt retinol booster the blackheads on my nose are more prominent and popping out. Do I need to stop using this, advice is gratefully appreciated, thanks

I’ve mixed the Alt-Retinol Booster with Revitalise & Glow over summer but now want to incorporate the Superskin Face Serum into my routine. Can I mix the booster with the serum, or do I need to stick to mixing it with moisturiser?

Does the retinol booster/paste help with acne or acne scarring?
Hello, thank you for getting in touch. Our Superskin Alt-Retinol products have not been designed to help with pigmentation or scarring, and instead to help with lines, wrinkles and refine pores.
It may help to know that Rosehip Oil has visibly regenerative properties. It’s the most effective plant oil for skin repair and restoration. Clinical studies have proven its ability to soften scars, reduce 'age' pigmentation spots and patches and improve the appearance of fine surface lines. You may wish to use our Superskin concentrate for Night 2-3 times a week. This is 100% pure plant oils and is a rich, restoring night-time treat for all skin types. It contains softening argan and rosehip oils, soothing neroli, lavender and chamomile essential oils plus antioxidant natural source Vitamin E. Would I use the Alt-Retinol Booster before or instead of my usual skin oil (I use oils in preference to moisturisers)?

Our Superskin Alt-Retinol Boosters are ideal for anyone who is looking to refine the look of pores, looking for supple and refreshed skin and reduce signs of ageing such as lines and wrinkles. Many oils are great for hydrating the skin, so we would recommend using them both alongside each other. The Boosters are water based and have been designed to use before your moisturiser or to be mixed with it. We would recommend using the booster before your current oil you are using rather than mixing them due to the textures not blending as good as a cream-based product.
