About this polish
Advanced skin resurfacing for brighter, younger-looking skin. For salon results at home, our 3-in-1 polish delivers naturally derived chemical and physical exfoliation in a nourishing formula to reveal a soft and more youthful-looking complexion instantly.
The chemical exfoliation is delivered by fruit enzyme AHAs, dissolving skin-dulling particles in just 5 minutes, while ultra-fine powdered pumice physically buffs away tired surface cells. With its luxurious texture, the cream is enriched with moisturising shea butter and rosehip oil to ensure skin isn't stripped of essential oils, while the relaxing neroli scent makes for a truly spa-like experience.
Powered by ingredients expertly selected for their efficacy: ultra-fine volcanic pumice crystals, naturally derived fruit AHAs (from orange, lemon, bilberry, sugar cane and sugar maple), shea butter and rosehip oil.
This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure during usage of the product and for a week after use of the product has stopped. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product gets into eyes, rinse with water.
As with all exfoliators that contain AHAs, we recommend doing a patch test at least 24 hours beforehand and reaching out to your dermatologist before using if you have sensitive skin or any known skincare conditions.

FRUIT AHAS
(Alpha Hydroxy Acids)
Our expert blend of natural source AHAs (made from lemon, orange, bilberry, sugar cane and sugar maple) chemically exfoliate. By leaving on for 5 minutes, the fruit acids get to work, removing surface impurities for skin that feels soft and luminous.
VOLCANIC PUMICE
Pumice stone is renowned for its satisfying exfoliating properties. Naturally sourced, our ultra-fine pumice has been powdered to ensure that the particles are extremely small, giving an invigorating result when massaged over your skin.
SHEA BUTTER
(Butyrospermum parkii)
Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help support the skin’s moisture barrier, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.

(Rosa rubiginosa)
Famous for its excellent moisturising properties, rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps support the skin barrier, while improving moisture retention.

Micro face polish scrub
It’s ok . A bit thin /drippy in texture but skin feels nice after .. I prefer my usual hot cloth cleanser but will try their other scrub before deciding if I buy this again

Smooth skin
This product is amazing. Used twice in one week and it was too much, but used as a once a week treat and it has really improved my skin. I have sensitive skin and I am prone to breakouts. Friends have commented that my skin is glowing. I am already a fan of instant skin boost tonic and an avid fan of Superskin moisturiser. I think this enhances my usual go to skin routine and will definitely buy again.

Best face polish I've used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm definitely not the target audience for this product, BUT I used it and it worked so well as a gentle but thorough deep cleanse at the end of the week, my skin felt super soft and glowy. I followed it with the cleanse & glow cleanser which was nice and gentle.

I brought this a month ago, on recommendation, but I do love luz earle products amongst others. Wow, I love it , could see a difference after 1st use. I use it only once a week cus I also use others but would definitely recommend to anyone to try it. It's a repurchase for me .

Instant Smoothness
I used this for the first time yesterday and I’m so thrilled with it. I had instant results. After rinsing & patting dry my face- it was noticeably smooth and soft. It really cleaned the dead skin from my face and did not dry it out. I look forward to using it next week as it is recommended to use once a week. I’m so glad I’ve returned to Liz Earle. The products are superb skincare.

Smoothie skin!
I bought this a while ago thinking it was the old exfoliator but it is so much better. You can feel the pumice working but it doesn’t hurt at all. I didn’t realise it had chemical exfoliation in it because it felt so gentle. My skin feels great after using it and ready to soak in all the goodness in my Liz Earle creams and masks.

Brilliant product I would never be without it
I purchased the Superskin Microdermebrmabrasion Polish last month, my skin feels awake ready to use skin tonic, serum and Superskin neroli moisturizer.
My skin feels soft, supple and hydrated. I use it twice weekly and my skin has never felt and looking renewed, I love it!

Absolutely amazed
Very rarely do I write reviews, but I needed to comecand write one for this product. My skin is super sensitive, honestly, it can react to plain water at times so I have to be vary careful what I use, otherwise I end up with what feels and looks like burnt cheeks. I was quite apprehensive when I first saw this product, especially being called 'microdermabrasion' I could feel my skin reacting just at the name, but given that it's from Liz Earle I figured it wouldn't be anywhere near as harsh as others out there. I read the reviews and they were quite mixed, so I thought I would try it and see what happened. This morning I started with cleanse and polish, and then applied this product as directed. I'm not going to sugar coat it, it was quite painful, especially on the cheek area, but given that it's my most sensitive area, I gritted my teeth and stuck with it. I barely felt it on my forehead and chin, and I even applied a little on the back of my hands. I sat on my bed waiting for the 5 minutes to pass, I think I was around 4 minutes in, and I felt a stray hair on my cheek, so I brushed it off, as I did (baring in mind, my finger tips were clean and dry) I noticed some dead skin had rolled off my face along with the hair. I stood in front of the mirror and couldn't help myself from very gently rolling the rest of the dead skin off my face, until there was a very satisfying amount of it in my sink. I then washed off the remainder of the product. Not only I could I not get over how super soft my skin felt, but also how moisturised my skin felt and looked, and the best of it was that my skin wasn't in the slightest bit annoyed at me, no redness whatsoever. I continued with the rest of my routine without any discomfort from my usually grumpy sensitive cheeks. To say that I used the normal liz early exfoliater last night, i was astounded just how much dead skin I still had. My skin is as impressed as I am. I don’t think I would use this more than once a week, maybe twice at a push. I am super impressed.

Even for guys
This is even for men, I love this product. I like the feeling of the granules as I gently scrub my face.
When washing it off after 5 mins of the AHAs getting to work my skin has never felt so good, smooth and clean. I even used this on the back of my hands and had the same effect. Will definitely have this in my bathroom. A must

Not as good as the original skin polish
My favourite Liz Earle product is the skin polish, however it is now unavailable and this seems to be the replacement. I thought it would be great with the enzyme and micro granules but it's really not for me. The granules are fine and gritty and I don't like the sensation. Probably won't buy again. Plus it's more expensive.

Can I use the gentle exfoliator in a couple of days of using microdermabrasion or should I wait a week before using it?

Would this product help with sun damaged brown patches on the skin?
Honestly I am not sure if it will help with brown patches but in truth I can tell you that your skin will thank you for it. Between the microbermabrasion polish and the superskin alt-retinol skin paste it has worked wonders for my skin. I hope this helps.

When do I fit in my retinol paste with microdermabrasion?
