POMEGRANATE FLOWER EXTRACT
(Punica granatum)
With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers.
CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

Feel good every day!
I love this light, easily absorbed moisturiser. It truly cares for my skin as it does not damage the skin’s natural protective outer layer (as retinol products do) and keeps it hydrated and supple. I have grown to love the fragrance and I really enjoy using it as part of the simple super skin skincare routine. It comes in a handy travel size and larger green glass jar version. This moisturiser is cruelty free, British made, and sustainably packaged in the Isle of Wight.

Absolutely fabulous
I’ve been using Liz Earl for nearly six months now and ….. WOW! It does what it says on the tin, so to speak. I’ve tried a few of the products and my skin looks and feels amazing. I have tried many products over the years and this one is truly the best. My favourite is the face wash and the face serum. A little pricey, but it works. Im 60 now and want to look the best I can. My desert island luxury
I have been using super skin for years and I love the neroli version especially in summer. My skin always feels fresh and hydrated and although we can’t hold back time, Superskin has kept my skin in good condition. Couldn’t be without it.

Smooth effective moisturiser
Since I started using this, I am 76, my skin is better, for years I used No.7, no spots or dry areas. I will buy the bigger version in a tube from outlet. Which will be better for travelling.

Great moisturiser for dry skin
I have been using Superskin Moisturiser with natural neroli for a couple of years and it's the best moisturiser ive used on my dry skin. I also use Cleanse and Polish so the combination of these two products helps keep my skin looking and feeling great. Tried other similiar products on the market but always come back to Liz Earle.

Superb quality and quantity
I’ve been using this cream for the last few years and I have to say I absolutely love it. Whilst it has no retinol or hydro acid it doesn’t bother me, it soaks into my skin making it feel satisfying, smooth and dehydrated I highly recommend it and the scent is just heaven

Not as good as it was prior to reformulation
I still have a tiny bit of the original version of this product and so (as with the change in formulation of Cleanse and Polish) I can compare and contrast. Thankfully, unlike C&P (where I was clearly reacting in an allergic way to the new formula .. a year or so ago) I can tolerate this product but it isn't as good as the original. I have been using it at night one one side of my face with the original on the other. The original sinks-in in a much better way and the consistency is very much different with the new version behaving much more like a cheap, bog standard, night cream which sits on the surface of the skin. Also the fragrance of the neroli isn't quite the same either.. the original being stronger in my opinion. So I will use it up. If something better comes along which my sensitive skin can tolerate I might well jump ship. It's such a shame when really good products are reformulated to perform less well. As a very long term Liz Earle customer this is only this product I can still use.

Would never use any other moisturiser
I have used Liz Earl products for over twenty years I love supersonic mouisturiser as it lasts all day. My skin always feels soft and never drys out. It isn’t greasy and make up applys easily over it. I’m now 70 years old and often complimented about my skin. My Grandaughters now use Liz Earl too.

One of the best moisturisers I’ve tried in years
I am so impressed with this beautiful Liz Earle moisturiser. It leaves my skin so soft nourished and hydrated. It sinks beautifully into the skin and doesn’t feels greasy. The next day I wake up with super hydrated and radiant ski! Definitely one of my top 3 fav moisturiser! I highly recommend if you have dry skin.

Gorgeous Moisturiser
I purchased the travel size of this moisturiser to see how my skin reacted,( I usually use the unfragranced version. ) So far I am delighted that my skin is loving it , with no reaction . The scent is so calming and the texture sublime. It sinks into my skin and is a good base for my makeup. Very pleased & will buy the full size soon.

Is it SPF 50

We've chosen not to include SPF in our Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in Moisturiser, as this product can be used both morning and night, and SPF is not required overnight.
We do have our Environmental Defence Cream - SPF25. This provides UVA and UVB protection, and protects against blue light and pollutants, whilst enhancing the skin's natural defence barrier.
All of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible; however, we would always recommend you carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use (behind the ear is ideal in this instance). Should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point during use - then you should immediately discontinue use and we would not recommend use of that particular product.

I have to be careful with sun exposure. Wondering why there is no sun protection included within this product like other manufacturers. Having to put moisturiser and sun protection and then makeup is often too much
Skin products containing SPF do not give nearly as much protection as when applying a dun cream directly to skin which is a safer option.

Does the superskin sensitive moisturiser have an spf included in its formulation?

It is such a shame I have never thought to check as I would have thought that such a good top brand would some, even the minimum SPF in as it is not cheap.
With the way the climate is going it would be wise to hightlight or mention that the products do not not contain this protection.
I have been using LE products (all facial) for the last 20 years and have been using skin products for the last 8 years if not more. I really do love them and will need to add in my own SPF cover.

Hi I'm noticing lately that you have changed some of the ingredients in certain products. I'm just wondering if you have changed anything about the superkin moisturiser?
It has changed. I have both 'on the go' and they aren't the same. Why companies insist things haven't changed when the consumer knows they have is beyond me. Maybe the actual ingredients list is the same but in the way the Morcambe and Wise sketch observed " I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order" perhaps the way in which the ingredients have been processed is different? I have no idea, but I agree it isn't the same. Neither is the C&P. I had a proper allergic reaction to the new C&P when I ran out of my old stock over a year ago. Old stock, no problem, new version: a bright red and itchy face!

Is this suitable for mature combination skin with occasional breakouts please?
I would say yes! I’ve been using this moisturiser for at least a decade as it is more moisturising for my skin as I entered my 50’s. I use it both day and at night (with an oil serum) and wouldn’t use anything else :)

I am 66 and have normal skin. Which moisturiser would be best for me to use at night?
I am also 66 and have used Superskin Moisturiser ever since it was launched morning and night. I also use the Superskin eye cream morning and evening. Twice or three times a week I used Superskin Alt Retinol Skin Paste at night instead of the moisturiser. Recently a dermatologist I saw about a mole (luckily nothing to be concerned about) commented that my skin was in excellent condition for 66 and to continue using the products I do. When pressed for anything else I could use her comment was to use a vitamin C serum.
