Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.
CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.

Very moisturising and fine on sensitive skin
I have only been using this for a few nights but like it very much. I have quite dry skin and am in my late 40s. This is very moisturising and tightening. I was worried that the perfume may react with my sensitive skin but it is very mild and smells fantastic.

Gorgeous on my Skin
I changed over to this cream from a previous favourite for many years from another brand (just didn’t seem to work for me anymore), and this one has been gorgeous. I love the natural smell, the thickness. My skin is getting drier as I get older, but I still get acne and breakouts. It’s not oily but not dry! I found this cream amazing.

Really good result
I have used dermalogica skin care for 30 years. I began to notice that my skin was really dehydrated in the morning. I researched good night creams because I had tried the dermalogica one and found it greasy. From first application the change was dramatic. In the morning my skin was still hydrated and not dry and tight. Really good product.

Really lovely sent and feels nice on skin when first applied. Doesn’t sink in that quick so need to leave for a while before putting head on pillow! ;) Overall though really happy with it for my peri menopausal skin which is now getting dryer! :)

I have just reached 70 and my skin is not in bad condition but lately it’s got dryer, which products of yours should I use, I do like a rich night cream
If you want something thick and rich I would recommend super skin night cream rather than the skin repair hydrating night cream

What is the difference between the SuperSkin Night Cream and the Skin repair Hydrating night cream? Which is better for dry flaking skin?
I use the super skin night cream as I’m
Older and I wake with more plumped skin . It’s a richer but not heavy cream formula which works for me . I don’t have dry flaky skin so couldn’t comment. A night time hydrating mask a couple of times a week is also good and liz Earle have many products which work well overnight

Is this product for more mature skin? I’m 33 and have combination skin and early signs of aging such as fine lines, would this be suitable for my skin or too rich?
I am 59 and it’s just too greasy for my skin. I use the tiniest amount and it just doesn’t sink in properly. It sits on my skin all night so I have to sleep on my back when using it. It leaves my skin tacky despite using barely any at all. I love the aroma though. Hope that helps!

Is the superskin range non comedogenic?

I can advise that none of our products within the Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare range have been tested for comedogenicity. However, we believe that one ingredient that could cause a product to be comedogenic is mineral oil and this is not something that is used in our skincare range, as we believe that plant oils are better for the skin.

I was considering buying this Superkin night cream,I thought it was a brand new product but after reading a post above,was this previously the overnight mask,renamed as a night cream??
Hello, We can advise that Superskin Nourishing Night Cream, was previously know as Superskin Overnight Mask. We realised that this wonder product, when applied as a light layer does not require rinsing off in the morning and can be used as a night cream. A night cream is something we often hear from our customers that they would like introduced to our range - sooner rather than later. So for us it felt like a natural step to transition this into a hybrid product that can have a dual use. You can still use as an overnight mask if you apply a thicker layer, and rinse off with your morning cleanse.
Our rich formula means that you do not have to use a lot, to get a lot of benefits. Listening to feedback we found that a smaller jar size was more desirable, which is why we chose to make this product in line with our moisturiser size offering.
