Our nutrient-rich baobab fruit is sustainably wild-harvested in partnership with organically certified rural producers from the Kaza National Reserve, Southern Africa.

Hibiscus Flower Extract

HIBISCUS FLOWER EXTRACT
(Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)

Our hibiscus is grown sustainably in Burkina Faso, providing a dependable source of income for many families. The red hibiscus flowers are picked & then dried and ground, producing our ingredient which is rich in AHAs. Hibiscus AHAs are used for their ability to help loosen & remove dead cells from the skin surface, resurfacing for a brighter, more youthful looking complexion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won’t buy again -sadly Absolutely hate writing a negative review as I like liz earle products but I just don’t notice any difference on my skin whatsoever. It’s an expensive product not to notice a difference. Even it doesn’t have much smell like other face products.

My skin, which at 58, is usually quite dull, definitely looked more radiant and healthy. I am now on my third bottle and am very happy with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing and not for me! I’ve waited a while to leave a review for this so that I could use it for a period of time, as I really wasn’t impressed initially. So, about a month later and I’m still not impressed. Being honest, I see (and feel) absolutely no difference in my skin which is really disappointing. Trying to find a positive, I’d say that It’s quite nice to apply, but then I think that any oil-based substance would feel the same really, and it’s disappointing (for me) that there is absolutely no smell at all so there isn’t even a pleasant aromatic sensation that can be enjoyed. All in all, not for me: I won’t be purchasing again and would be reluctant to recommend, sorry I can’t be more positive but honestly, I feel that putting “any old oil” on my face would probably give me a similar experience and no better outcome!

As well as the brightening serum I have been using the Balancing Botanical drops as I have out breaks of Menopausal acne and this product has significantly reduced the red marks following the outbreaks love the Liz Earle products

I have noticed a massive difference already! My skin tone is a lot more even and definitely brighter! I feel I only need a little concealer before going out now! Will definitely be purchasing another bottle when these run out! X

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifted my complexion As I've gotten older and also with the stresses of the winter, Covid and other factors that impact my skin, I have noticed my skin has become duller and I've had to wear more foundation and blush to try make my skin appear more vibrant. The reviews for these drops were really positive so I added it to my order as a treat and really glad I did. I feel as though it compliments my existing skin care routine as in its not taxing and it naturally fits into my cleanse, tone and moisturise regime, but it gives me the lift I needed and I've noticed a week in that my skin is more even toned and is definitely brighter, to the point I feel more confident going make up free a bit more than I would. Would happily continue using this and hopefully as time goes on the benefits continue. Also love Liz Earles ethics and that it is natural and cruelty free which is important to me.

Do you use these drops before or after moisturising?

Hi there, thank you for your question. There are multiple ways in which you can use our Botanical Drops. You can choose to use them alone, by applying 1-2 drops to your hands, and smoothing over the skin (avoiding the eye area), then following with your chosen moisturiser. Alternatively, you can mix the drops in with your chosen moisturiser, and massage into the skin (avoiding eye area). Finally, you can target the drops on any specific problematic areas, before applying your chosen moisturiser. Does this product include an SPF protection?

Our Brightening Botancial Drops do not contain any SPF protection however, it may help you to know, that our Sheer Skin Tint and Environmental Skin Defence Cream, both have SPF protection.
